When I got home I told my husband it looked like they'd fixed the wrong tooth, but I couldn't really tell bc it was still numb & kinda swollen & the cracked piece was on the bottom in the middle, so it was difficult to see. My husband said surely they wouldn't do that. But they did. I'd left with a cracked tooth & a filling on the side of a different tooth (2 teeth away). Of course they quickly fixed my cracked tooth when I went back. I was charged for both procedures. They were very nice about it. Not my favorite experience and hesitant to return.

She was treated like the dirt on his shoe by both him and the lady (Dana) at the front desk. The bedside manner in that place is absolutely terrible, and I can't bring myself to understand why they would act in such a hateful manner. My sister left out in tears by the way she was treated. I will not recommend him to anyone ever again. I hate to be this way, but when you are in that much pain, they are expected to be caregivers, compassionate and understanding, but that is the farthest thing from how she was treated. Don't get me wrong, most of the staff are as sweet as they come, but those two specifically need to work on their customer service skills or just quit their jobs. Extremely unacceptable.

Heaven forbid the dentist is in a rush to go home- you can have the unlicensed hygienist finish the drilling and filling. This occurred after the dentist asked her to only do one task while he worked on another patient, and then she did several other tasks she was not at all qualified to complete that he told her NOT TO DO. She didn't stop when I attempted to stop her. He came back briefly at the end, and when I asked a question about one of the fillings, he rolled his eyes and ground the tooth down while saying it didn't need it. I have nerve damage on that side so I was not asking for it to be ground down, just had a question about a sensation. He also did not stop when I protested. Horrifying and appalling. Left with pain, trauma and several damaged teeth (one chipped, one cracked, and several ground down beyond recognition). They also ground down my canines for no discernable reason. The office girl is nice, that's the only thing even somewhat acceptable here. I was new to town, so it took me way longer than it should have to make a legitimate review instead of only warning the friends and family I know personally. You couldn't pay me to go back.

Horrible Experience - Completely Unorganized and Misleading…read more Tennessee Family Dental in Lebanon is by far the most unorganized and unprofessional place I've ever dealt with. My mother-in-law went in for oral surgery to have her teeth pulled, and right before the procedure, they suddenly came in and sprung a hidden fee on us for the laughing gas. This was never mentioned beforehand, not during scheduling, not during the consultation, nothing. Only right before surgery did they decide to bring it up. That is completely unacceptable and shows how disorganized and misleading their practice is. Patients should always know the full cost upfront, not be pressured with surprise charges right before surgery. If they can't even be transparent about something as basic as costs, how can anyone trust them with actual dental care? We will never return here, and I would strongly caution anyone considering this office to look elsewhere for a dentist that is honest, organized, and professional.
