I got access to the main lounge for flying SAS back to LA as a SkyTeam Elite Plus member. It was OK: glad to try it. Entrance was easy via a ticket scan (was allowed to bring one extra person, which I didn't need), and is meant for fast throughput. It's a very open space, with a lot of light and windows. One could tell pretty quickly that the first floor was pretty full, so took my luggage and lugged my way up to the second floor. Both floor had buffet/beverage stations so didn't need to move again until ready to go. The food was OK, with a lot of things belonging on a continental menu, including cheese block, different breads, various cold vegetables and some really watery soup. They did have Carburg on tap which was nice. Everything is reusable wares and utensils. There is wifi available, but requiring a password. And used plates get cleared pretty quickly. I stuck around for 1 hour, leaving about 80 minutes before scheduled departure. What I didn't realize was that the lounge is before immigration/passport control...so what I thought was plenty of time to make it to the gate, ended up being a rush run to the gate.

There are clear directions and paths that guide you to passport control and baggage claim. The restrooms are clean. I think I was mostly impressed with how quiet it was outside at the rideshare pickup point. The vehicles in this city mostly run on electricity. Even their public buses are 100% electric. It's just something that was very noticeable to us throughout our stay in Copenhagen. It deserves a mention. I can't really rate it higher than 4 stars since it was an arrival with no departure. We didn't stay at the airport long enough to experience what it has to offer. I'll update this review if we ever find ourselves at CPH again in the future.

Copenhagen Airport isn't the best airport I've flown through, but it's also not the worst!…read more Our experience after landing was less than ideal. Getting through customs took a long time because there were only two agents processing passports for non-EU citizens. Signage wasn't great. And the only bathrooms we found on the way out were two dingy single occupancy ones. At least getting between the airport and the city was quite smooth. The metro goes right up to the airport, and Copenhagen just has a terrific public transportation system. When we returned for our departure, getting through security was slow. Liquids have to be taken out of bags, jackets and hats come off, and security agents open up a fair amount of bags (maybe from people not following protocol). And getting through outbound customs was again slow. We got stuck for 10 minutes behind two guys who were apparently having passport issues, while the adjacent line was moving normally. A worker let people behind us get into a different line but she basically ignored us until we got her attention. Inside the terminal, things were better. There are some cool shops including a LEGO store. Bathroom placement is okay, but the bathrooms in the high traffic areas didn't have urinals and could use more stalls. The free WiFi was reliable, and each gate seems to have a long table with power outlets and USB charging. There are also several airport lounges, including a couple that take Priority Pass. The wife hit up the Aspire lounge using her Priority Pass and said it was quite nice. I have to take her word for it since I don't have my own membership! Overall, Copenhagen Airport is an okay place to fly through. Part of our poor experience was due to bad luck, but a lot of it could've been improved with better processes.

It is always nice to kill some time in a relaxing, non-congested space, while grabbing a meal and beverage at the airport. There was a small self-service buffet that was constantly cleaned and and refreshed. Beer and soft drinks were on tap. Decent full bar for a airport lounge. Plenty of bathroom access in lounge. Plenty of seating options for individuals and smal groups. I would definitely visit here again next time.

The lines can be long during the summer time, but do move along. If you have an EU/Danish passport likely no line at all :-) It consists of one larger circular room facing the tarmac. Many seats/tables have outlets or USB charging ports. Buffet had warm lunch options, apart from some standard Danish darkbread and toppings. Also had Halal options. Great beer on tap, large wine section and good mix of hard alcoholic options. Together with soda, coffee and tea. Today the warm lunch options were a Thai Curry chicken stew with white rice (not bad at all), and I didn't try the Bean Chili (doesn't feel like a good idea for a long plane ride with many people).. Not as cramped and busy as the other Carlsberg lounge in the "shopping area". More spacing with chairs and probably not crowded due to the passport control and limited flight/gates nearby.

We were served a breakfast that was surprisingly better than the scrambled eggs and sausage I'd had at the Rembrandt Hotel in London. They knew about and provided Alan's low sodium diet. My only complaint would be about the complete lack of coordination between British Airways and Virgin Atlantic at Heathrow. We had to gather our luggage, go through British Customs and from Terminal 5 to Terminal 3. Fortunately we had assistance w/ that, which made it manageable.

A few months ago, I had the displeasure of flying British Airways when London was hit with severe…read moreheavy fog and there were major delays on all flights in and out of London Heathrow (LHR). I was flying out of Copenhagen Airport, connecting through London Heathrow, with onward journey to Hong Kong. Knowing my flight would be delayed and that I would likely miss my connecting flight to Hong Kong, I tried to seek help from British Airways with getting onto an earlier flight. I went through customs early and went to the gate of a British Airways flight that was departing about an hour earlier than mine, but had been delayed and was in the process of boarding. I had asked the gate agent if she could see if there was any space on this flight since I had a connection in Hong Kong that I would miss if I were to take my original flight. The gate agent, who likely was frustrated, said exasperatingly that she could not help me since she needed to get everyone on board and get on going to London. I was a bit disappointed that she could not assist me since I knew I was going to miss my connecting flight (I later had to be rerouted through Düsseldorf, to depart the next day) and she was so unwilling to help. Typically in the USA, airline gate agents will assist customers by putting them on earlier flights if there is space knowing that a later flight may be delayed or cancelled. I guess it's not the same on British Airways in Europe. And at least in Copenhagen, the employees at British Airways seem to have a "it's not my problem, so deal with it yourself" attitude. From my most recent flying experiences and some of the turmoils of connecting through LHR I faced, I realized that the best option when having to fly on a long haul international flight is to avoid flying through LHR. LHR probably has some of the worst weather conditions of all airports in Europe, comparable to SFO in the states with its fog. British Airways, I don't think I will fly with you any time soon, and surely not through Copenhagen Airport. Poor service made my journey an displeasing one.

Malmö Airport is long-term probably fighting a losing battle with the bigger and better connected…read moreCopenhagen Airport (which is also my preferred choice, even when going to Malmö). The airport is however a very good airport, the security is almost always fast (less than a few minutes even in peak hours) and the airport is easy and efficient to navigate. They have free wifi at the airport and there are also a few cafes, stores and restaurants. The best one is Espresso house, and they keep the same prices here as in their normal locations so good coffee at a decent price. They also offer some snacks and light meals. SAS also has a mini-lounge (or cafe lounge as they like to call it). So the airport has what one needs and while airports are never really fun this one fulfills its purpose, has the essentials here and does not add to the pain of traveling.

They have clear information everywhere (even on approximately what a taxi should cost), free wifi, smooth security. There is a small cafe before security and the check-in area is pretty decent (but Kullaflyg could add check-in machines so one could skip standing in line). After passing security there is a cafe and a small kiosk offering some food options that are ok if you really need to eat.
