I've had him for about a month and a half now, and while he's come such a long way, it's heartbreaking to see how scared he still is. He's great with me and the women in my family, but the second a man comes around, he completely shuts down. He hides, growls, and sometimes even tries to bite out of fear. He won't eat if people are watching him, and he's constantly on edge. It's obvious that something happened to him before I got him. Anyone who meets him can see that this isn't normal puppy behavior. No dog should be this afraid all the time. It breaks my heart knowing that someone treated him in a way that made him feel so unsafe. I don't know how anyone could do that to an innocent animal. Puppies should know love, safety, and kindness, not fear. Watching him slowly learn that he's safe now has been rewarding, but it shouldn't have been necessary in the first place. My heart hurts for all the other dogs that may still be there.

We were sent home with all his paperwork, a care package of food, shampoo, a squeaky toy, a small blanket and a microchipped puppy. The pup was easily potty trained, he was easy to socialize with other dogs and has been a great dog! Since we had such a great experience the first time around when we decided to add to our canine family we didn't hesitate to contact Color Country Aussies again; however this experience has been the exact opposite of our first experience. We picked up our new little guy on April 12, 2024, Keisha asked if she could email me his paperwork and I said ok, we paid for the pup and we left. Fast forward to today May 2, 2024 and I have yet to receive any paperwork from Keisha, I have repeatedly text her and asked for the paperwork but now she has stopped responding. I have an idea when the pup was born taken from Keisha's advertisement on the website, but I have no definite birthday or lineage for this puppy and no microchip to boot! I am beyond frustrated with this transaction and going forward I will NEVER recommend Color Country Aussies as I have in the past!

On top of that, when she sent me his records she "forgot" some stickers for the vaccines so she added it later. When trying to discuss my concerns with her, she completely ignored me and bombarded me with reviews of happy customers and said her bad review was addressed and it was the purchaser fault. In addition, when trying to state my concern she said I have no knowledge of dogs, tho I grew up with dogs my whole life and had a total of 4 as of today, and that since she is a dental hygienist she knows how to treat a dog better than a vet. On top of everything, I noticed the vaccine records of Fester does not even match my puppys vaccine records from what the vet gave her. She told me I just don't know how to read the label. But she doesn't realized dogs with EU passports have the vaccine name, signature from vet, and label from the vaccine bottle placed in it as record. I tried to request my deposit back and she ignored me and told me to stop committing wit her. She is very unprofessional and will not listen to you. All she does is PUSH PUSH PUSH the sale onto you and force you to buy the dog and play mind games on you making it seem you are not knowledge compared to her. I do not recommend purchasing from her!!!! If 0 stars was possible, that is what she would have gotten.

We actually bought the pup in Las Vegas (Henderson) but had to drive up to St George to get her. They say we can file a claim for the medical expenses (which will be substantial after what have now been several vet visits and repeat medications) but they should have taken care of this problem before putting her up for sale. In all my years of buying direct from breeders I've never had this problem. This is the first time I've ever gotten a puppy from an actual pet store and I will never do it again. Our poor little pup has had to take repeat doses of strong antibiotics and another drug, cleaning up her soft poop has been terrible day after day. Very unhappy with this pet store! I don't know why my post shows I live in SF, we live in Henderson, NV.
