Well after riding non Harley motorcycles my whole life I decided it was time to make a change, so I looked at my two closest Harley dealerships to see what they had, because I wasn't even familiar with the models. Big sky Harley didn't have any models I was interested in, but Copper canyon had TWO heritage classic softtails that looked like bikes that would fit me. I filled out there online quote thing and within 15 mins Jaykob called me. I told him what I wanted and he told me to come down and look at the heritage classics I was interested in. From the start he made it easy. After came down and test drove it, I had some parts I wanted added, and he promised once they were installed they would deliver the bike to me at my home in an enclosed trailer. I would give dealership a negative star rating if possible. Brought my brand new 26 Road Glide in for simple 3-hole oil change. Technician forgot to re-install oil dipstick and trans oil fill plug. Whole passenger rear side of bike got coated with oil as I did not notice until I was 35 miles down the road. Situation was explained to Curtis Moen the owner/manager who offered absolutely zero kind of sorry or apology and came across to me as if I were inconveniencing him. Took Whitney (who I believe is Curtis's wife, so also an owner) literally 55 minutes to generate a partial refund receipt. No kind of sorry or apology from her either. We stopped in while pulling our RV trailer back from Yellowstone. It's always fun to check out new dealerships, and this was no exception. While it's a small dealership, they have all the gear that you would expect. Lots of clothes options and cycle accessories. More than anything, we found every person we came in contact with to be genuinely friendly and helpful. As I ride through town in the future, this will be a nice stop, if not to just reconnect with the folks that work here. read more

Blew a head gasket riding into Western Montana from Idaho.Continued on to the Harley Dealership in Misoulla.They had no techs available and wouldnt be able to deal with it for a week.Im on the road so that wasnt an option.I ride on to Butte Harley hundred miles away.They were on their game and though it was late in the day promised to get in it next morning.Recommended a really nice hotel with a great free breakfast.Next day they got me fixed up and back on the road.My greatest thanks to David,Tony and Corey for being true Professionals.Butte Harley is a rarity amongst Dealerships.They actually act like they enjoy what they're doing unlike many shops. read more

bought a bike, paid cash, had them put on taller bars, they didn't install the clutch correctly, they KNEW it had a leak but didn't fix it until I complained, then DROPPED my bike off a lift! gave me a choice between my money back or waiting 6 weeks t get it back! who knows what other damage they caused! This is a one of a kind shop. Came in with a screaming eagle that was had started running badly as I got to the edge of town. They were buried with bikes, but took the time to look at the bike and let us know it was the coil. While they were doing this we noticed the rear tire was coming apart. They got our bike on the rack as soon as a mechanic was free. This all started at 5 p.m. We ended up spending the night in Butte. They took us to the hotel, plus got us a discount on the room. We had a few other issues when the work was being performed, nothing to do with their work, but with having a 20 year old bike. Long story short they did not charge me for all the hours they worked on the bike. They charged for only 2 hours of labor. This shop is amazing!! I have never bought anything from this store. I have never been in it. However when I, as a biker, needed help and did not know where to go, they came to help me. If this is the way they treat a stranger they will probably never see again. Imagine how they treat their customers. On the way home from Sturgis with 2 friends one lost control of his bike. He hit the guard rail and was killed. We were 3 miles from Butte. After dealing with the police and rescue teams my buddy and I headed for Butte to compose ourselves. I called my wife. Obviously upset she insisted I ship the bikes home and we fly home. I try to do what my wife says. After stressfully researching options for over 90 minutes I decided to rent a truck and drive the bikes home. I got the truck and tie down straps and we went to load the bikes. I got on fine. My buddy dropped his on the ramp. Now I have a banged up bike with crooked handlebars to load. A few people in the parking lot came to help us. We got the bikes on the truck. I might mention that I am handicapped from an accident from 2009 with a fake hip, rod in my leg, and an arm that is still broken and held together with a rod. My buddy is also handicapped. I went to tie them down and realized I had no idea what I was doing. At this point my coping skills were dwindling and I wasn't sure what to do next. I remembered seeing a Harley sign as I came into the city. I called the dealership, asked for the service department, explained the situation, and asked for help tying the bikes down. Even though they were short handed and dealing with the crowds riding home from Sturgis they sent someone to help me. I am not sure what I would have done without them. I live in CA. I will most likely never be a customer. It did not matter. They came to help me. Imagine how they must treat their customers. read more

I am not one to usually get on here and write reviews. However, in the case of Copper Canyon Harley-Davidson, I had such a great experience I felt I needed to let others know about the quality of the dealership. I just bought a Heritage Softail from them. Fantastic bike and I am very happy with it. I have a place a few hundred miles from this dealership that I was up vacationing at. So, needless to say it is a bit of a travel to go out shopping. Anyway, I found the bike I wanted on their website and gave them a call. They worked with me over the phone and held the bike until I could get there to look it over as the last thing I wanted to do is drive hours only to find out the bike was sold. We completed the sale late on a Saturday afternoon and I was getting ready to ride it home. Just as I was getting ready to leave, the sky opened up and started storming really bad on my intended route. Now this was just at their closing time. I asked if they would keep the bike and let me pick it up in the morning when the weather cleared (they are not open on Sunday). They agreed to have someone meet me in the morning so I could get the bike and head on back. To further complicate things for me, I knew nothing about where to stay overnight. They provided me with a hotel recommendation and got me a discount on the room. To top it off, they even showed me where it was on their way home. To summarize, they gave me a great deal on the bike, provided outstanding service. Everyone I worked with at the dealership was friendly and went beyond the call of duty for me. If you are looking for a bike in Montana, I can't recommend this dealership highly enough. You'll get a fair price and outstanding service. These guys have integrity and are all around helpful not only to strangers but to their community. Coming home from Sturgis after two weeks on the road I ended up in Butte MT with a nail jammed through the tread and out through the sidewall. It was 4pm, one hour before close, no compressor, and tire pressure still looked good. I called these guys asking them to bring it in so I wouldn't wake up with a flat figuring the 1 mile from my hotel to their shop would be OK. They said bring it in, we have the tire you need. Long story short, though I had my stuff to do my service on the road, I figured what the heck have them do the service too. Well, I came back to get the bike the next day to the great news that the angle of the nail was through the tread and not QUITE the sidewall and had not done damage. They DID NOT sell me a tire they did not need. Further (and most important) my bike had been spewing too much oil out the breathers bugging the shit out of me. No, I hadn't been lugging and kept the oil mid dip-stick...well, two other dealers blamed me THIS DEALER FOUND THE PROBLEM a breather bolt problem. NO MORE OIL drizzling all over the side of my bike! Lastly, a week of road grime and dirt following a wet ride and that bike was Spotless when they gave it back. Their guy (awesome dude) got in there and scrubbed it by hand, all this with a service that cost $75 less than my home dealer. There was other good stuff but the review is too long already! They also sponsored a bike night event downtown for their community that night. It was great. read more

My friend broke down on our way out of Butte, Montana. We were on our way home from Beartooth on a long 10 day ride. We called the dealer about 10 minutes before closing time. Dave, the service tech, said no problem, I will wait. When the tow truck arrived, he was there, an hour or so after closure, and happily brought the bike in. He called a local hotel and their van came and transported my friend to the motel and I followed on my bike. Kudos to Dave and the dealership. The whole staff was great. read more

Buyer beware!!! I recently bought a Harley from copper canyon and the salesman said the bike had a 103 cubic inch motor and the air cleaner cover said this too. I later found out that this bike only had a 96 cubic inch motor. I call and talk to the manager, Curtis Moen, about this and he told me he would figure it out and get back to me. He has never called me back and he refuses to take my phone calls. Shady business I wish I would have never did business there read more
