Dr Barkley and her staff make me super comfortable with gas for anxiety abs they don't make me feel embarrassed for being afraid at my age ( the main reason I have lost so many teeth is avoidance of dentists ! ) Now that I've found a dentist I actually like and trust my fear is rapidly going away! She referred me to a endodonist last week for a root canal and I had never seen a specialist for that ( a dentist has done all previous root canals w horrible pain ) my fear was ramped you and it was incredulous easy ! Absolutely shocking that no pain swelling etc after ! I didn't even need Tylenol! . I'm glad I chose this dentist , bc she seems to understand dental anxiety as a real thing! Gentle music, calm atmosphere, massage chairs, a blanket if you want - all the things. Everyone is so kind and helpful, and the staff and doctors are so attentive. I've had regular cleanings as well as fillings and, most recently, a crown (same day!) at this location. I have zero complaints about any of these interactions. They develop a care plan with you before treatment, so there are no surprises when you're done. My 5-year old daughter also is seen here and she has developed an early enjoyment of going to the dentist, which I know is uncommon. They are so patient and gentle with her and she has no qualms about going for her cleanings. All-in-all, I would recommend this group to anyone seeking dental care.

Once being taken back and getting X-rays, the dentist came in telling me that my gums were inflamed due to me having braces ( I didn't have my wires on, only brackets at that time). After enduring unbearable pain, and making several phone calls expressing my concerns, requesting for appointments or some type of antibiotics for treatment which may have resulted in some relief of the pain, I was told that a deep cleaning SHOULD help with the pain. Finally on April 12,2026, weeks of discomfort and denial of assistance, I contacted an emergency dental clinic, was seen immediately and the diagnosis was I needed a root canal and antibiotics. The infection could have entered my bloodstream, possibly resulting in death. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION FOR ANY SERVICE!!!

I liked the other dentist and put off finding a new one for awhile. A friend recommend Dr Sampson because he liked him so much. So I decided to give him a try. I got appointments the same week as I called so I was really happy about that! My appointment was for a checkup and teeth cleaning. I already knew that I needed a couple of crowns and I told Dr Sampson I wanted them done within the month because I was going out of the country. A few days later, I was back in the chair for my crowns. Dr. Sampson's assistant was quick and efficient and had me prepped for Dr Sampson in no time. Dr Sampson is very nice and was concerned about my comfort and made sure there was no pain involved. He really is very warm and caring. I forewarned the office that my daughter didn't like going to the dentist and that they needed to be prepared. The person who cleaned her teeth was super sweet and was so nice throughout the whole thing. No tears this time! All went well. Parking, however, can be a little tight. Unfortunately, the relationship had to be terminated due a billing dispute for $165. I ended up being compelled to pay the full amount despite explaining to them the unfortunate circumstances around the issuance of the bill. The receptionist was somewhat rude (not ugly) as she explained the situation on their end. I asked if we could meet in the middle to preserve the relationship (something their web presence says they value), but she was unable to come to an equitable resolution for me. They may have received their cash payment for $165, but will lose out on thousands of dollars worth of future claims payments from my insurer because they were unable/unwilling to compromise with a long-standing, reliable patient. With all that said, I will miss Dr. Davenport and I wish her well. I hope her office management team learns to see the bigger picture when it comes to preserving patient relationships, especially when the amount in question is so paltry in the long run.
