I was highly disappointed when I got these flowers .. the roses were just placed in the vase THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO CREATIVITY USED AT ALL!!!! now I've done arrangements for events and I ended up fixing this one after .. added some 4 dollar baby's breath from safeway .. trimmed some of the roses so they were different heights and also arranged the colours nicely ... Their customer service is good tho .. she called and made arrangements for me to pick them up because she couldn't get into my building and she stilled walked them home for me because it was heavy and I had a stroller and other stuff .. I mean my fiance technically did pay for delivery but it was still nice of her .. Also some of the red roses were dying very dark .. they didn't even take the time to pick the dead petals off .. Honestly this bouquet was 50 plus delivery and tax .. don't waste ur money go elsewhere ... safeway at new west station sells nicer arrangements in their fridge section and they also have vases for sale .. I'm sure for 50 bucks you could get a WAAAAAY better arrangement that actually utilizes some creativity and effort with a vase and the person who receives it will be happier .. Don't get me wrong I am very greatful that my fiance put the effort in .. I just feel like he wasted his money because the arrangement was such a disappointment and I ended up fixing it myself ... She said she has 8 stems and in green, white and lilac. I told her I will take all of them. When I got there, she was most helpful. Shared many tips on how to prolong the life of these flowers. I asked if she could supply them on an on-going basis and she said absolutely. I picked up the flowers on the 27th of Dec (Sunday) and the flowers are still looking so every beautiful until today. Christina said she will have new delivery around Jan 6th and she will definitely call me then. I am so happy to not have to hunt around for disbuds anymore. Most importantly, I am more than pleased with Christina's service. She made the entire experience so special. She asked questions, made recommendations and made me feel well taken care of. The first time, I forgot to ask for a photo of the flowers - but when my boss received them and showed me a photo - I was impressed and so happy that this was the Designer's Choice bouquet that was delivered to her for her birthday. Today, I placed another order for a Designer's Choice Bouquet. I'm really excited to see what it will look like - but I'm certain my friend will love it! I had one of those experiences with Aria Florist that was worth changing my review for. I had ordered an arrangement a couple of weeks ago for Mother's Day, and without going into a bunch of details, essentially, the wrong arrangement was sent. Unfortunately the arrangement looked nothing like what I ordered and the flowers didn't reflect the amount of money I paid (I've ordered tons of flowers before so I have a good sense of what costs what). The arrangement was delivered on Sat (I had asked for that) and when my mom sent a picture to me, I immediately became confused and then annoyed and thought "argh! Was this a bait and switch? Did I get duped? What the heck happened here? Did they run out of the flowers I wanted?" Now admittedly I acted in a hasty fashion and wrote a review on Yelp literally 5 mins after seeing the picture. It was a long, but I think fair representation of what happened. Well, fast forward to Sunday, Mother's Day, I talked to my mom on the phone in the morning and she was very gracious about the arrangement (meanwhile I groused about it but then moved on because there are other things to talk about). After I hung up, I debated on whether I wanted to email the florist to complain-- when literally after that thought left my head, I got a text from Lexis, one of the florists at Aria. She apologized for the mix up and said that another bouquet was on the way to my mother. By 11 am Sunday morning (I kid you not) my mother received another bouquet that was nice. Now that made up for the first mix-up (still not the Cymbidium orchids I ordered but the effort was commendable), the grousing I did and the fact that it saved me a bunch of time and headache for having to reach out to Aria, tell them what happened, etc etc. If every business did this I would more likely be a repeat customer. So bravo Aria, for making this right for everyone on Mother's Day.
