We got same day delivery (actually just a few hours later my friend called to tell me she got them!). Flowers were hand delivered by a gentleman, and he said they made sure they contained flowers that were not scented for hospital rooms. The driver also kindly remined us to add some water in the vase every couple days to make sure flowers are in water and can last longer.
