I parked under the shaded canopy of trees, then tracked the sand to the concrete walk - the ocean breeze crossed my face as my eyes tracked the plumes of the ocean's blue waves that washes the coral laced beach. The palms were bent in the wind with their frons embracing the green coconut's husk as a gecko clung to the vines that strung across its trunk in rhythm with the gull's screeching songs as they glide in search of their next snack. They say these are the perfect days and they may be for most but I consider myself an in-perfectionist so the foot prints that stain the sand and the confusing weaves of the man-groves that border the dunes providing shelter for the innocent creatures is what stirs me. I love that the product here is it's beautiful and that could never disappoint, I'm sure there were others here but that never distracted my focus so let this place overwhelm your senses and hydrate your soul. If you're here for the day embrace your fortune, if only for a moment then take your communion or penance because this place can change you - the ocean is tranquil, some say zen but that's above my pay grade I just came here to take in the phenomenon of nature...

The dolphins swam up to me!! I was too excited to get my camera to take pictures. Unreal!! SMILES!!!!!!!

It was a surprise trip & I'm glad I said yes. was a quick trip just to board & workout but it turned out to be more. I would definitely be coming up with my camping gear next. Sooooo.... Beautiful!!! :)))) Wow! Beautiful beach. One of my bucket list is to swim with the dolphins and they swam up to me I wanted to die of excitement. God is so good to me!!! Thank you for bringing me here. I saw so many school of fishes too. I get all emotional for stuff like this. So peaceful, great place to distract the mind! Bike. They have bbq areas. Like I said I wasn't expecting all of this. But so happy I came. Super romantic here too.... This is a must try if driving by location. I would give it a 10 star if I could.

Coral cove park is a waterfront park located in Tequesta, Fl, right outside the city of Jupiter at 19450 state road 707. The park is beside the Atlantic Ocean, near the Indian River and is managed by Palm beach county parks. The beach is guarded has bathrooms, playground, showers, canoe launch, charcoal grills, snorkeling , fishing, canoe trails and is beautiful to take pictures with the rock formations on the shoreline.I love that parking is free and ample . Would have loved to have spent more time but it started to rain.

I love the beaches of Jupiter. They are so clean and have free parking. This park is 14.64 acres and offers 2,610 of beach and 600 feet of intacoastal waterway frontage. After parking you climb up a small and hill where you find a boardwalk that takes you across the sand. I loved going through the tunnels of sea grapes. The beach has a life guard. You can launch a canoe or kayak from the south extension of the park. You can also salt water fish here. Park amenities include grills, covered picnic tables, a playground, restrooms, and outdoor showers. This beach is a popular snorkeling destination because of the eroded rocks of the Anastasia limestone formation that are in the area. They along with the reefs attract sea life. Just look for the dark shapes in the water to find the best places to snorkel. Pack up a picnic, grab a beach chair, and prepare to relax. The beaches of Jupiter are the best free fun you can have in the area.

I liked this small beach side park on the Atlantic Ocean. It spoke to me. If I lived in the area, I'd be here often. There was ample parking when we stopped by midweek in the afternoon, off season. And parking was free. It was an easy walk to the beach. There are a couple sets of stairs -- one closer to the lifeguard stand and one a walkway through a lovely canopy of sea grape trees. Other facilities include picnic tables, and a shower, and restrooms. The beach is not very wide here, but it is quite a long stretch along the ocean. The breeze was refreshing and the sound of the waves hypnotic. This was a time when I wished I'd brought along a bathing suit or at least a beach towel -- stretch out, listen to the waves, and relax... maybe dream.

If you're into photography or Instagram pics, this beach is for you. It's got some amazing shots if you've got a creative eye. I came here with my wife and 4 younger kids, and although it was fun exploring, trying to keep my kids from getting cut up or hurt on the rocks was causing me more anxiety, than relaxation. We found a spot about 25 ft away from the rocks that wasn't bad and the kids had fun. But there is coral and rock all along the beach and in the water (which wasn't unexpected) so just keep an eye on your kids if you bring them to avoid injury. I tried to get some cool shots of my wife and kids on the rock formations and wound up cutting my foot. SO, if you go out onto it or plan to, bring shoes with good tread (probably hiking shoes) and avoid sandals (unless very secure). I'd come here again if I were local but we drove about an hour and a half and wasn't blown away enough to come back any time soon.

One of the biggest perks of this beach/park is that it's generally not very crowded. The crowds tend to hang out a little further south at Juno Beach or Jupiter Inlet. This is a beautiful park with rocks and blue water. It's perfect for a nice day at the beach with friends or even by yourself if you're just trying to kick back and relax and reflect. It does kind of take a while to get here because traffic can be kind of slow going up A1A, but the views are worth it. This beach isn't under construction like Jupiter is right now which is part of why I opted to come here instead of going there. Definitely one of my favorite beaches in the county. Run, don't walk! Then sit back and enjoy the scenery.

Free parking and a guarded beach, a win win right there! This adorable little playground was an added bonus. Be cautious however, high tide and waves breaking along shore can be very dangerous. I wasn't able to let my little one swim.

I had no idea that rock formations existed like this in South Florida. When you're so used to flat, flat, flat sand beaches, these rocky cliffs and crags took me by surprise! We arrived at a ridiculously early hour to catch the sunrise, and it was one of the most gorgeous sights I've ever seen. My boyfriend is a photographer and he got some amazing shots! Apparently, he wasn't the first person to think of this idea - even though it wasn't overly crowded, there were definitely a few amateur photographers, trying to find the best angle. We found some local food and stayed through the afternoon - what a lovely day!

One of my favorite beaches in the area to photog. Gorgeous tunnels of sea grapes. Amazing rocks that the waves crash against. Also an amazing spot to collect shells!

I'm a a photographer and this is one of my favorite parks/beaches in South FL to take photos in. I highly recommend watching the sunrise here, going for a walk or enjoying a picnic by the sand. The views are incredible!!

On a sunny day with calm waves and clear waters you're guaranteed to not want to get out of the water. If you want to enjoy the marine life I suggest entering close to the rock and swimming alongside to the far south side of the beach. Perfect place for shelling as well after high tide. This beach offers of grand scape for the outing. You get the beauty of shallow rocks and gorgeous reefs at low tide and reaping the gems that get washed up at high tide all while basking on the beauty Jupiter sands. One of my favorite snorkeling spots. Don't let a bad water day fool you; this place is awesome for snorkeling

Gorgeous and full of shells... perfect for shoots and family fun. Absolutely a beach to come back to

Ask the Community - Coral Cove Park

Are dogs allowed on the beach to go in the water?

I don't think so, but dogs are definitely allowed at Juno Beach and at Jupiter Beach just South of Carlin Park, with doggy bag stations at the tops of stairs.

    Is it free to park?

Yes, the parking is free. There isn't a huge amount of spaces like at a major beach but there is plenty of parking at the park or spot along the side of the road about a block away

There is a circle paved walking path around the equipment so it is nice to have the option of walking while the kids play. During the past few visits, my kids made friends with other kids and they came up with some collective game. There are picnic tables and pavilions inside, and the middle walkway is popular as a shortcut for those on foot, so I definitely am on guard with so many adults around. Great playground!

Even I had fun climbing to the top. The park also has a bench and gazebo with table. After taking the kids to the library you can visit the park for a picnic and play. Behind the Center is a large parking lot with several secluded spots with picnic tables that sit along the River, a large covered pavilion that is rentable, a lot of what looks like horseshoe tossing stations, a volleyball court (without a net), a sweet little playground, and nice public bathrooms. The playground here is great - rarely busy, it has just enough different elements to keep it fun, plus swings. It is shady, with a lovely waterfront breeze, and benches for adults to sit on. While it is not fenced in, it is connected to a picnic area and generally feels pretty secluded. When the playground gets old, my kids and I walked towards the public docks. There is a paddleboard renting structure there, where you can rent one by using a credit card, but the lifejackets are pretty sun-worn-out. Really cool concept though! My kids like to walk out on the docks and check out the boats that frequent this area. There is also a kayak entrance where they can get their feet wet next to the mangroves. After hitting up this area and back in my car, I finally drove the loop behind the Center. It is all waterfront, with little covered picnic spots and river access for those with kayaks or canoes. What perfect spots for a gathering or hangout. These are almost hidden, as the road loops one way and parking is all in the grass.

I've honestly never found another place quite like it for families. The water is calm, shallow, and sheltered, with no waves or strong current, making it ideal for time with our three-year-old. She loved playing at the water's edge, and the tranquil conditions made it much easier to relax without worrying about waves or tides. The setting is also beautiful, with sandy areas along both sides of the water, natural trees that provide real shade, and plenty of spots if you prefer to sit out in the sun. The park felt incredibly clean and well-cared-for, with picnic benches and grills throughout, public restrooms nearby, and a lifeguard tower, though no lifeguard was on duty when we visited. There is also a pirate-ship playground, which is a fun bonus for families if kids want a break from the water. One tip: the rubber surface gets very hot in the sun, so flip-flops or other shoes are a good idea. One of the highlights is watching boats come and go from the harbor from nearly every vantage point, giving the area an authentic Florida vibe. Crossing the bridge over the lagoon's mouth also leads directly to the beach. What truly impressed us was how welcoming and inclusive the park felt. We heard multiple languages, saw diverse families and groups enjoying themselves, and everyone seemed relaxed, content, and authentic. The genuine, easygoing atmosphere made the park even more memorable. It felt like a blend of locals and visitors, both welcoming and family-oriented, with immaculate grounds. Although parking fills up, it never feels hectic. We've visited many beaches in Florida and beyond, but this one genuinely stands out. We plan to return as often as possible.
