The banquet/meeting rooms are available to rent for any particular social or business event. If one wanted to participate in an early basketball game prior to heading to their job, they have a locker room with showers.

What I got was one unstructured session in the kiddie pool--just swimming back and forth with no technique correction, no feedback, nothing. It felt like the instructor had no idea what to do. When I brought this up, I was told the training manager would attend a future lesson to train the instructor during my session. That's not acceptable. I didn't sign up to pay for someone else's training session--I signed up for my lesson. Even worse, I found out the training manager had already been watching the original lesson and allowed it to happen that way. So how is anything going to improve? I asked to cancel and get a refund, and was told flat-out "no" due to policy--no apology, no ownership, no attempt to make things right. Also worth noting: the reception staff was rude and unwelcoming when I arrived, which set a bad tone from the start. I can't recommend this place for adult swim lessons. Between the lack of professionalism, poor instruction, and dismissive customer service, I left completely disappointed.

This park is big!…read more In the front is the fire department and a lot of boat trailer parking, with 2 or 3 loading docks for boats,etc.. In the middle is the (wonderful!) Loxahatchee River Center. I had never been farther than here, until recently. It is worth checking out! Behind the Center is a large parking lot with several secluded spots with picnic tables that sit along the River, a large covered pavilion that is rentable, a lot of what looks like horseshoe tossing stations, a volleyball court (without a net), a sweet little playground, and nice public bathrooms. The playground here is great - rarely busy, it has just enough different elements to keep it fun, plus swings. It is shady, with a lovely waterfront breeze, and benches for adults to sit on. While it is not fenced in, it is connected to a picnic area and generally feels pretty secluded. When the playground gets old, my kids and I walked towards the public docks. There is a paddleboard renting structure there, where you can rent one by using a credit card, but the lifejackets are pretty sun-worn-out. Really cool concept though! My kids like to walk out on the docks and check out the boats that frequent this area. There is also a kayak entrance where they can get their feet wet next to the mangroves. After hitting up this area and back in my car, I finally drove the loop behind the Center. It is all waterfront, with little covered picnic spots and river access for those with kayaks or canoes. What perfect spots for a gathering or hangout. These are almost hidden, as the road loops one way and parking is all in the grass.

The park was named for Burt who was a lifelong resident of the area. The 35.55 acre park that bears his name spans both sides of US Highway 1. The main attraction of the park is the Loxahatchee River Center which has aquariums and interactive exhibits. Unfortunately it was closed on our visit. There is also a nature area out back. If you are a boater or fisherman you can do both recreational activities here. There are boat ramps and canoe and kayak launches. 2,000 feet ofthe park is on the intracoastal. There is also a playground, sand volleyball court, picnic pavilion, picnic tables, grills, and a restroom. I think that it is really nice that Jupiter decided to honor Burt by naming a park for him. He gave a lot back to his community and although he is no longer with us his presence still looms large in the town that he loved.

There's a pool and a hot tub that definitely needs a deep scrub as the water gives off a brown/yellow sheen. There's also a rickey little sauna that does its job but rarely feels appetizing given the Florida heat and humidity. The food options are limited and barely crossing the edible threshold. The vibe is strange and the energy is a bit dead in the eyes. It's not a particularly friendly spirit and some of the residents - one creepy, bald dude in particular - are downright rude and unpleasant (and this guy was definitely toeing the line of harassment). There are many other nudist resorts in Florida with better activities, facilities and social settings so do yourself a favor and skip this one.

The indoor Recreation Center houses a gym and has meeting rooms for various programs. And outside are more than a dozen fields for baseball, softball, and multipurpose ones for soccer or la crosse, et al. Almost forgot the volleyball set up with a sand base and the tennis courts. There's a one-mile exercise path with stations; a large picnic pavilion that groups can rent and a few smaller pavilion's too. For the younger kiddies, there's a playground with swings and two "structures" for different age groups. There is supposed to be a skate park and a roller hockey rink, but we didn't see all of parts of the park . As you enter the park, you can see some construction going on. They are building indoor/outdoor tennis and pickleball courts. They are hoping to open either later this year or in 2027.

The playground used to feel a bit unsafe, especially for younger kids. There were tall play structures (including a ship-style area) with spots lacking proper railings, and some slides ended too high off the ground, which made landings uncomfortable and even risky. The splash area was a fun idea, but the flooring was worn out, and the restrooms definitely needed an upgrade. Fast forward to now -- everything has changed. The renovation completely transformed this space into one of our favorite family spots, especially during hot Florida days. The playground is now fully enclosed with a fence and has a single entrance, which makes it much easier to keep an eye on kids The layout is circular, so visibility is great from almost any angle There's a shaded splash pad area (huge plus in the summer!) A separate, safe toddler zone -- thoughtfully designed and much more secure Soft ground (similar to artificial turf) -- very comfortable for kids The splash area has rubber flooring, and the play structures for older kids are still fun but noticeably safer now. There are also two swing areas and a basketball court. Small note: I personally think the basketball area should be fenced off -- balls can occasionally fly into the playground (we've experienced that ourselves). There are benches and picnic tables, but they fill up quickly on weekends. Pro tip: bring a picnic blanket and lunch -- it turns into the perfect cozy family setup. Other great features: * Clean, spacious restrooms (with very large changing stations) * Drinking water fountain * Easy parking * A cute little free book box -- bring a book, take a book * Walking trails with lots of greenery -- perfect for scooters and relaxed strolls One tiny aesthetic note -- some of the flooring colors (bright red/blue) feel a bit intense visually, but the green areas look beautiful and natural. Overall: an amazing upgrade. Safe, clean, well-designed, and very family-friendly. We come here often now, and the kids absolutely love it.

A huge new indoor Pickleball center is being constructed. They have a practice wall, which I absolutely love. I checked in at the pro shop and was assigned with my team three courts. They are beautifully maintained and in fabulous shape. There are lots of clean well stopped restrooms. There were benches, tables and water fountains on each court.

Barbara Capodiferro was instrumental in creating the garden because she wanted to give people who have lost a child a place to grieve that was more pleasant than a cemetery. Barbara and her husband Dominick lost their 27-year-old son, a Marine, to natural causes and Barbara passed from an illness on Jan. 12, 2016 but the project was close to her heart until the end. The garden is along the lake near the Burns Road Recreation Center. The city gave $145,000 to create the garden that includes plants, a paved walkway, benches, and a sculpture. This is the first bereavement garden that I have ever seen and now I wonder why more towns don't have them. It is such a thoughtful idea and it was so peaceful here. I was soo worried it was gonna be super crowded and I was soo glad it wasn't!!! The draft wood that was there made it that much more perfect for photos! However I do believe it's no longer there but the views are just as amazing! It doesn't even feel like you're in Florida with the rocks all around you!! It's truly a beautiful spot that me and my husband love so much!! It's definitely become our spot for intimate moments! This is also the location he proposed to me and we took family photos!!! If you're in town and want to check a location that's not as crowded and scenic this is the spot!!
