It runs two city blocks and serves as a sort of the main street of Coral Springs. The Walk contains offices, shops, and popular restaurants. I visit The Walk at least once a week. Some of the restaurants I enjoy are Chicken Salad Chick, Burger Fi, Too Jay's, and don't forget the ice cream, chocolates, and caramel apples at Kilwins. The walk also has my favorite Trader Joe's, a Barnes and Noble, and Wild Fork Foods. Other businesses in The Walk include a dentist, banking, nail salon, insurance, waxing, and eye care. During the year The Walk holds events and concerts. Every March is the two-day Coral Springs Festival of the Arts. When something is going on parking can be a bit of a pain but normally it is ok. As far as strip malls go, this is my favorite one in Broward County.

Plus many other brands for what ever your needs are at the moment. Frank hit up Versace and purchased some leopard sweat pants and they are amazing... What a discount and even on sale for added savings.. I won't bore you with everything I bought but I filled my truck bags... SAWGRASS MILLS is the place I come to drop some coin.. The businesses in the Harbor Shops are arranged in an open air complex with a Key West architectural vibe and nautical theme. Parking is in the center. The plaza is anchored by a Publix. I have been here many times through the years, most recently to eat at Gilbert's 17th Street Grill. Other reasonably priced restaurants here include Joe's Cafe, Indian Harbor, Duffy's, 5 Guys Burgers and Fries, and La Bamba. Shopping choices include TJ Maxx along with boutiques. It's close to Port Everglades, the Fort Lauderdale Airport, hotels, and other SE 17th street businesses. The mall has a variety of stores and shops. Everything is here from groceries to a hardware store to clothing to wine. It offers service salons where you could get your hair cut or your nails done or even a massage. The mall gets a lot of pre and post cruise business. It's popular, so some times parking can be challenging. I've probably been here the most for the different restaurants -- from burgers to sushi. When I worked nearby and the weather was nice, I'd come for lunch and then stroll by the shops.

There was a gal vacuuming at the time we came by. The vacuum was heating up and smoking a bit, so she was concerned. There were also some students or volunteers or young new employees -- I couldn't tell which -- being given a tour of the store as we were there. Both were a bit distracting. They have some inventory that will appeal depending on what you're looking for... they don't have much furniture wise. There's a bit of a bunch of different things --linens, housewares, silverware, electronics, books, clothing etc., etc. Most things are organized together by category. Price wise, it's a mix of decent prices and high prices. They have some of the more expensive items near the counter. We didn't love something enough to buy anything here. But we are still glad we came to check them out.

The Shed Thrift is a nonprofit that donates its proceeds to various veterinary hospitals in the area to support people on social security or limited income who need life-saving surgeries for their pets. I collect vintage pieces and Shed Thrift had some items like a chandelier and a set of glasses. They also had furniture, appliances, bikes, guitars, household goods, collectibles, books, movie, CD's, clothing, accessories, and more. With the influence of DIY shows showcasing recycling and re-purposing, thrifting is more popular than ever. Thrift stores help people save money and keep items out of the landfill. Shed Thrift has some unique items like a jukebox that you didn't typically see in the local area thrift stores. With their mission to help vulnerable pets, this store is an assist to Coral Springs.

Okay, I'll admit that Town Center at Boca Raton is not as bad as I first thought it was. I may not be coming here blowing my money, but I have been visiting a couple of stores a bit more frequently and there are a few more that have my interest to check out. Us gals made our way to MAC and the guys went to Starbucks to get all our drinks.
