Now, I will admit that my review is a tad limited since I only frequent the downstairs (?) non-surgical part of the clinic but if you are a purveyor of facial services, you need to check out Faces! I'm a huge fan of dermaplane--you can see results immediately as it removes hair and dead skin from the face. I've had this service done at a few places in the Jackson area and can confidently say that Faces, specifically Ms. Marilyn, provides you with the most thorough treatment. She is so unbelievably thorough! She is the only person who has changed the dermaplane blade 2-3 times during my session--I'm Indian, I have a lot of hair, and so, it's expected that the blade would need to be changed and she is the ONLY PERSON in the Jackson area who delivers such extensive and precise service. Oh, and the price is so reasonable for the attention you receive. My sister sees Leta for hydrofacials. I opted for the hydrofacial once and felt that my skin was immediately hydrated and she helped my breakouts calm down. She is just as thorough and dedicated to making your skin glow as Ms. Marilyn! With all the contouring, bronzing, eyebrow filling that's trending, you definitely need to check these ladies out to make sure your 'canvas' of a face is well prepped!

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I am hoping that I can save one person that reads this the time and…read moremoney that I wasted at Luxe. I gave them a shot twice, and was very disappointed with both experiences. The staff was all very nice, so this has nothing to do with anyone on a personal level, but rather with the caliber of services rendered. This spa is located on the third floor of an office building. There is nothing "luxe" or special-feeling about this place when you walk in. They basically just turned a vacant office space into a "spa". My first appointment was for their "micro-needling special" they advertised on Facebook and Instagram. I have had professional micro-needling done at other medical spas with Skin Pen for over a decade, and this experience was beyond subpar to any other time I have had it done at any other spa. The aesthetician barely used any pressure during the service, and when I left, my face was not even red. She didn't use numbing cream either, and I feel like if the treatment is done correctly, numbing cream is needed to alleviate the discomfort. She also wanted to add an up-charge to my treatment to use "salmon sperm" or some other type of exosome with the microneedling that would be like another $200. I definitely said no to that, because how do I even know that's actually what would be put on my face? It just felt like another money grab. Again, this is not a dig to the aesthetician on a personal level (she was super friendly & kind), but to the quality of the service I received. My second appointment was for their "cryo-slimming special" that was also advertised on social media. They brought in a traveling rep for the cryo-slimming device named "Tyasia". She was very bubbly and had a great personality, so I thought this would go really well. She started out by measuring my waist to get a before measurement to see how many inches I lost during my treatment. I was flabbergasted when she said "you have a 53 inch waist." For reference, I am a petite 5'3" tall woman and wear a size 4, but would have to be shaped like a bowling pin for that measurement to be accurate. I said "ma'am that cannot be right." She said "yes it is, it says 53 inches right here." I asked her to please do the measurement again. She remeasured and said "oh, now it is saying 25.5 inches, my mistake". That is a HUGE mistake. Was she measuring on the wrong side of the measuring tape? Centimeters, maybe? The use of a measuring tape is a very basic skill that I would think would need to be mastered before calling yourself a "cryo-slimming tech". I knew 25.5 inches wasn't correct either because I had measured myself prior to my appointment and my waist was 35 inches. I just let it go at that point because I was not going to argue with her. After the treatment, she did a 3rd measurement to show me how many inches I had lost, and said "oh, wow, you are down to 20.5 inches now!" Like I am really supposed to believe I lost 5 inches in a 30 minute treatment. 20 inches is like the size of a 5-year-old's waist! By this point I am ready to just get the heck out of there because I could tell this woman had no idea what she was doing. I got home and remeasured just for my knowledge, and again I still had a 35 inch waist. The biggest issue I had during this appointment, though, was the two nurses that came in and out of my treatment room three different times going through cabinets, and acting like they were looking for stuff. I had my pants pulled down to my groin area for the treatment and my shirt was pulled all the way up to right under my breasts, and I truly wanted privacy in there. I went to high school with one of the nurses (Allie) that kept coming in the room, and felt like she was being nosy just looking to see what I was having done. No one should have been coming in and out of that room while I was having my treatment done. Would they do the same to someone that was in a room having a relaxing massage done? I felt that was extremely unprofessional and would have never happened at any of the other real medi-spas I have been to. So the whole cryo-slimming appointment just felt like a big joke and like Tyasia was just throwing numbers out there to try to act like this machine was going to really work. After the appointment she was trying to push me to buy a cryo-slimming package, a 10 pack for stomach + arms for $2,299! I about died when she told me the cost. I don't know anyone in their right mind that would pay that amount of money after the experience I just had. There was absolutely no way. This whole spa seems like such a bait and switch, and they are running very aggressive specials on social media to try to get clients in the door. I fell for it twice, but there will not be a third time. (P.S. also beware of the "Tox special" they are running on social media. They use an off-brand neuromodulator called "Letybo" that performs VERY poorly and wears off quickly!)

We purchased 2 groupons for my friend & I to do the cryotherapy and a glow facial. Upon entering the salon, I noticed that there was no privacy for the facials. It is performed in a very open room that is visible from the front door. The cryotherapy machine is right off the front door & located in a separate room. We were told to change into the robes, gloves & socks with protective shoes and immediately when entering the bathroom, I was concerned about sanitation. When I put the robe on it smelled like it hadn't been washed In at least a couple weeks and I don't even want to think about where those socks had been.... worse yet what appendage they had protected . The bathrooms were not clean. The cryotherapy was effective. Super cold but that is to be expected. She only had us stay in for 2 minutes and I was worried I wouldn't make it the full 2 minutes. I was sore from running & after cryo I could tell a noticeable difference In the level of soreness. The glow facial was pretty enjoyable, but only lasted 8 minutes and you are in the wide open. I don't know about you, but when I am receiving spa services, I prefer to relax. All in all, I would recommend cryotherapy & even try the glow facials again, but will not be visiting this particular salon.
