    ADDITIONAL COMMENTS AFTER OWNERS REPLY:…read more Not only does this company have shady business practices, now the owner is outright lying about the situation. I fired them from finishing this work. I'm the one that called the owner first to give him a chance to do the right thing. He says I'm being petty, but I don't like it when someone tries to take advantage of me, as I'm sure no one does. Here is the section of their proposal that discusses what is included. Read it and you decide. If no one from the company verbally tells you that there will be a second proposal, would you think something else is needed after reading the following? "Our pricing, unless otherwise noted, includes all labor charges and installation fees. Most of our equipment is priced at or below MSRP but the price you see includes everything needed to install it, thus we call it "installed price." If you need to have the proposal separated we can provide that, but through our experience most clients find installed price easier to understand. Labor charges as of this proposal are $155 per man hour for installation, $185 per man hour for programming, and $125 per man hour for retrofit. Our programming and retrofit labor charges are our best estimates and unless otherwise noted include time for setup and programming of the system plus time for tweaking the program. We have found that most customers require changes within the first 30 days as they begin to use their systems and we will modify the program twice within 30 days after the installation is finished."

On February 28th, a very professional tech…read moreshowed up at 9:30am and after a very long day our home system was installed and ready to go. The tech was professional and very thorough. A month later, our systems signal is getting weaker so I called in and they told me they were sending a bridge and if I continue to experience issues to call back. System rebooted. I called in a few hours later on the same day, because the system was very weak and I couldn't speak using the doorbell speaker. System rebooted. I was told they were going to send a technician with the bridge. An appointment was set for a Tuesday, March 27 which I had to take time off from work to be able to available and the tech didn't show. No call, nothing. I call in and I was told it was a scheduling department issue and they will call me the following day. The following day, no call. I called in two days later to find out what happened and I was told the tech cancelled the appointment and they are sorry. The the customer service rep tried to help and with the help of the scheduling department, they set up another appointment for today, Saturday April 14th. Once again I take time off and guess what?? No one showed up!! I confirmed the appt via email. This is the second time, a tech hasn't shown up or called. No communication from Vivint. Why do I even have this system?? I pay for a system they can't get their things in order!!! After getting an earful from me, because I am extremely disappointed and upset with the lack of service, another appointment was set. We shall see if Vivint will show. A very upset customer.

    I contacted this company about an ongoing issue with my security system and was advised to upgrade…read moreto fix it. I agreed, but the upgrade did not resolve the problem. I returned the equipment as instructed since it was unnecessary and not functioning as promised. Despite this, the company refused to issue a refund or cancel my service, claiming I am still bound to a 5-year contract--even though the equipment was returned and the issue remains unresolved. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly, but they would not work with me. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend based on their lack of accountability and unwillingness to resolve a legitimate issue.
