I provided custom plasma install with a lower quote from another company and custom plasma install's response was first "we can fix his work." And then when I said, I'm confused (because he didn't answer my question about price matching that) his response was "[competitor] is wrong on his pricing and must be desperate for work." A competitor quote was too low so they resorted to insulting the competitor. I do not want someone like that in my home.

Based on my experience, they don't come across as straight shooters or particularly trustworthy. Their rates are also 2 to 2.5 times higher than the next 10 top results on Yelp. Yelp should probably move them lower in their results given how few reviews they received in recent years. When I asked about the price difference, I was told the Frame TV is difficult to install and that they include a "lifetime warranty." The quotes I received from the other installers were all specifically for the frame TV. Reading other reviews on Yelp, it didn't seem like the lifetime warranty carried very much weight with them (Paul and Cary). In the end, the experience felt more like a bait-and-switch than a professional engagement. Maybe the quality of the work would have been fine -- but with so many reputable, fairly priced alternatives in the area, I'd strongly recommend going with someone else. Don't waste your time coordinating with Paul or Cary. I ultimately lost my deposit and could not even report them to the Better Business Bureau because they don't seem to exist outside of Yelp and Nextdoor.

Talked to them and they came out and gave me an estimate.....come to find out he is a dealer for Samsung and I could buy the TV from him for the same cost. Bought the TV and a new receiver from him. He installed it with a wall mount, hid the wires, installed my old TV in my office along with my PS4 and Apple TV. Hooked up my new TV with a new Yamaha receiver which he is also a dealer for, recalibrated my surround sound and his work was flawless! Couldn't be more happier with the install and the results! My surround sound is 100 times better and the picture quality is great! He does video surveillance systems too and we will be using him for a new camera system for the house!

I'm the one that called the owner first to give him a chance to do the right thing. He says I'm being petty, but I don't like it when someone tries to take advantage of me, as I'm sure no one does. Here is the section of their proposal that discusses what is included. Read it and you decide. If no one from the company verbally tells you that there will be a second proposal, would you think something else is needed after reading the following? "Our pricing, unless otherwise noted, includes all labor charges and installation fees. Most of our equipment is priced at or below MSRP but the price you see includes everything needed to install it, thus we call it "installed price." If you need to have the proposal separated we can provide that, but through our experience most clients find installed price easier to understand. Labor charges as of this proposal are $155 per man hour for installation, $185 per man hour for programming, and $125 per man hour for retrofit. Our programming and retrofit labor charges are our best estimates and unless otherwise noted include time for setup and programming of the system plus time for tweaking the program.
