Really great group of Physical Therapy Doctors (DPT) and Physical Therapy Aides. They even have a Massage Therapist on site and Fitness Training classes. The front desk ladies are all friendly and helpful. They knew how to work with our insurance for billing without hassles. I once read that massage is a necessity parading as a luxury. These words could not be more true for me. Massage is a medical necessity. I started searching for medical or therapeutic massage because my pain management center only covered 10 minute massages that did nothing except exacerbate my back pain. I was a huge fan of a massage business in Westminster where I had 2 hour massages for 40 bucks and tip. I've given that up for Chris here at CORE. It's one dollar a minute and there are 25 or 50 minute sessions, plus tip. And dang, he earns every penny. Yesterday I was in bad shape with a migraine, and rather than cancel my appointment, my friend drove me, and seriously -- Chris ENDED my migraine. I'm stunned by how brilliant he is at his craft. He finds the whole line of jacked up musculature and ends it. I've had more freedom in my turtle shell back after seeing him than I've had in decades. Chris is the one. Truly. Let me not forget to mention that the ladies at the front are welcoming, patient, helpful. Parking doesn't tend to be an issue. And masks are required. Enjoy! read more

Second time I decided to go to Core Physical Therapy over two other places. I picked them because of location. It was like an assembly line, where there was no feeling of personal attention. They even forgot to get back to me when I sat in a chair having lite therapy which I paid extra for. But, oh they were ever so attentive, even trying to get a $35.00 cancellation fee I don't know I owed, with turning it over to collections. I'm at Coury and Buehler now and geez what a difference. Words cannot begin to describe how grateful I am to have been referred to this wonderful place. The entire staff has been and continues to be the most supportive people in my corner in my attempts to recover my mobility again without having to go through a spinal fusion. I am one of those people who do not believe in all western treatment methods and I always am thorough in investigating and educating myself on whatever diagnosis I at the time am faced with. When I went to my first appointment I couldn't drive myself, I couldn't walk, I cried through the entire appointment, and I needed serious pain relief. Today I can do all that I couldn't, don't cry nearly as much as I did that day, and have not completely been relieved of pain but it has definitely become much more manageable. Today I have hope! The team CORE Physical Therapy is fully responsible for reducing my neck pain. I had extreme neck pain for over 6 months before being referred here and within 2 months my pain had reduced by over 90%. In the first visit they identified where my pain was coming from and set up a plan to help. They regularly evaluated and adjusted the plan to target specific muscles that were hurting me. The team is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to do whatever they can to help you. They also offer massage and personal training, both of which are reasonable priced and lead by great staff members. Even with my pain reduced, I still go for regular massages when the pain flairs up. I was injured during a horseback riding accident last year. My elbow was shattered into multiple pieces. My elbow was reconstructed by multiple surgeries. I had hardware installed (pins, screws, plates). Weight lifting and exercise are a big part of my life, I feared the use my arm would be significantly reduced as a result. The staff at CORE were extremely helpful and welcoming. The facility was clean and modern. They were understanding if I had to miss an appointment and allowed me to reschedule free of charge. During my sessions I completed various exercises using my injured elbow. A PT would also stretch my arm into the open position which was extremely painful. The staff was skilled and made the process as easy as it could be. It's been a few months now and I am very happy with my progress. I was injured in a serious car accident in September of 2018. After almost a year and a half of physical therapy and chiropractic work, I was still in a lot of pain and had a very limited range of motion. I started to think that this was going to be something I had to deal with the rest of my life. My doctor referred me to CORE and in three months my range of motion was normal, and my pain was minimal to nothing. From the very beginning I felt heard, something I didn't feel with other physical therapists. They were friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. I really wanted to like this place but it was impossible for me. I saw the overall rating that seemed favorable but I think people either love or hate this place. I'll start off with the positives: 1. My therapist was great, he was easy going and really seemed like he cared. 2. Accepted my insurance. 3. Punctual. Each appointment I had started promptly on time. Negatives: 1. Although my therapist was great, he only spent 15 minutes per visit on my problem area. He was also somewhat new and did not explain too much to me in terms of what to expect and a progression plan for me. 2. Front desk seemed unapproachable at times, there was no greeting from them, just sign in and give me your co pay. 3. Therapist aids are really new at their job and do not seem knowledgeable. 4. Appointments are tough due to the high volume of patients. 5. Seating is difficult due to them having couches. 6. They do not do what is best for the patient, they due what is best for C.O.R.E...the insurance you have dictates the care you will receive. I ended up finding another physical therapist and let me say its like night and day. In my opinion, there are just too many negatives here which is why I would not recommend this place. read more

Among the multiple physical therapy offices I've been to, this has to be my favorite for a multitude of reasons: really kind and personable staff, they offer you the knowledge you need to have on your issues, schedule flexibility, and effectiveness of treatment as a whole. Both Dr. Dahdul and Matt have been a godsend for me! The physical therapy assistants have also been incredibly helpful and patient through guiding me throughout my exercises (Thank you, Arti!). I've had some stubborn issues that needed a lot of attention, but I'm definitely seeing improvement. As a patient, recovery takes work on your part. If you're not staying on top of your exercises, you won't see results as quickly or drastically as you'd like. read more

The staff is fantastic in giving personalized and knowledgeable assessments, treatments and advice. I was in a car accident and shattered my ankle. I had my first surgery ever at 38yrs old. I went to C.O.R.E for my physical therapy. It was definitely worth it. Dr. Laurent was really good at helping me get proper movement in my ankle again. Jacob is a walking ray of sunshine. That guy stays positive. Extremely, extremely disappointed in them this time around. 4 days of calling the office and they are STILL verifying my benefits. Mind you, I went there I for 10 months in 2013 and again for 3 months earlier this year. My insurance has not changed. Every time I call, I get a different person and a different answer. Lack of Customer service has been my fear in coming here since my last visit. They have an extremely high turn over of PT's due to the fact that they take in college students or newly licensed PT's. The reception staff is always changing as well. The 1st time I went, it was 5 stars all the way. The 2nd session of appts, I'd say 3 stars. And now, I can't even get an appointment. Having physical therapy at CORE has been a wonderful experience for me! I came for help with my knee ( four years ago) and all of the therapists were attentive, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Marcus and Arty were my primary therapists and they were great in helping me improve my knee issues. They were always professional and kind as well. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly and helps accommodate me with my appointments. Matt, the owner is always friendly and professional as well. This is personally my first experience with PT, but I've been there while my mom went through it for her arm, and both my dad and younger brother have torn their ACL, so I'm not a complete noob. I absolutely love this place. They are everything u was looking for in terms of physical therapy. I broke my shoulder a month ago, and they are doing everything to help me heal at the pace my body allows. They all really seem to care about all of the patients (clients?), and the assistants do as well. I feel completely comfortable with each of the staff that I've worked with. I would definitely recommend this to someone in need for PT, and I've seen then doing great things to help people that are overweight to get moving. There are always smiles everywhere. That's a good sign. Hopefully, I won't need PT again after this, but if I did I would choose the people at C.O.R.E. Physical Therapy. read more

This review is quite overdue, but writing it now reminds me that I've been pain-free in my shoulder for over six months now, all thanks to Matt and the team at CORE PT. Late last year, I went to the doctor because I couldn't lift my arm above my shoulder without pain. The doctor couldn't find the cause but agreed to let me go to PT. It took Dr. Dan only one visit to figure out the muscle that was causing the issue. Their specialized knowledge of how the body works was better than any MRI or x-ray. It's amazing that in this day and age of perpetual "treatments" rather than solutions, the good folks at CORE made my shoulder pain go away and rebuilt the strength there. I had an appointment with them today and they were asking for my social security number. Of course i refuse, since my medical card and id is sufficient by law. They refuse to serve me and wanted to keep my form that i have filled up. I found this strange. Please be advised you do not need to give your ss number to anyone for this type of service. They seems to worry about payment or wanting so badly to get their future patient unnecessary private information than helping them out, makes me more suspicious. Not sure about you, but i will take my business elsewhere. I have reported them to a better business bureau and i will also report them to St Joseph hospital, whom has sent me. This is a review of the C.O.R.E. Physical Therapy location in Fullerton, California. This is a truly amazing practice, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch rehab and wellness center that won't break the bank. First of all, the location is great--nestled right behind the Ralph's grocery store on Harbor Blvd at Berkeley Ave (just across from the Fullerton courthouse and Hillcrest Park). With 6,000 square feet of floor space, this place is much bigger than the other physical therapists' offices I've been to in Orange County. This place is big enough to house the full range of rehab equipment and then some. It's got everything you would expect from a full-service physical therapist--all the usual medicine balls, bands, and machines--and much more! They offer a wide range of services including acupuncture, massage therapy, fitness and wellness classes, personal training, nutritional counseling, aquatic rehab, and much more. Of course, I can only speak to the services I used, but it's nice to know they offer the full range of services and treatment options should I ever need them. CORE offers the professionalism you expect, but the staff are friendlier than at the other physical therapy practices I've been to. Matt, Kevin, and the staff greet me with a smile, are patient and understanding, listen to all my concerns, and work with me to custom tailor the right plan of action to reach my fitness and wellness goals and to achieve positive outcomes. I get the impression that they really care about me and my progress. Moreover, I have found their prices very reasonable, and they accept a wide range of insurance and payment plans. In short, I give CORE five stars for their outstanding services. October 2017, I dislocated and triple fractured my ankle playing soccer. CORE PT was recommended to me by a friend, and after almost 4 months going there twice a week, I can't recommend it enough myself! All of the staff is knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, and willing to experiment and try new things. They do a sort of "status check" every few weeks to track your progress and decide where to go next, instead of just telling you to do the same things indefinitely. This made a HUGE difference, as the state of my ankle would change every once in a while. They also were very attentive to your injury and also your whole body when it came to doing the exercises properly. They made sure you knew how to do all of them properly to avoid further injury. For over two years, I have been going to CORE Physical Therapy in Fullerton. It started out with back issues which ended up with double back surgery. After a short recovery from that, I started having knee issues and that ended up with a total knee replacement. Between these myriad issues, CORE has never let me down. They pushed and pulled me and many times I left there in tears. Fast forward to yesterday, I finally got the good word that I have successfully rebounded from all of my back and knee issues and surgeries. I couldn't have done this without the guidance and care shown to me by Dr. Krista Contreras and her assistant Artie. When I was admitted to CORE last year, I had just suffered from the worst lower back pain/flare-ups. Thankfully, based on word of mouth, I had already knew who I needed to see - Dr. Ziad. Dr. Ziad is THE most knowledgeable, skillful and professional PT that I have ever heard of or come across. In addition to my lower back issue, I also had muscle pain in my psoas, iliacus and QL areas which are hard to get to, but Dr. Ziad knew exactly where it needs to be worked on to give it a full relief. I was under Dr. Ziad's care for just a couple of months, and at the end of the treatment, my pain level has decreased dramatically. I was mobile again! More importantly, Dr. Ziad has showed me many different stretching exercises beneficial to my condition that I could easily do at home. Till this date, I have been able to maintain the progress we've made by doing these exercises religiously! There turning and burning , not to much love . I would go to at Jude! There was very little massage therapy.

First off this isn't one-on-one aqua therapy, nor therapy tailored to one's needs. I was extremely disappointed. I went to my first class last week, which was at the YMCA with a group of senior individuals who signed up for the class via YMCA. My spinal injury required a specialized program, which I didn't receive. I was thrown into a class that didn't specialize on my needs - I struggled - halfway through the class I had to stop. The next day, I was in worse pain. You don't receive any muscle therapy, which is much needed in my case by a physical therapist. I've been to therapy before, received one-on-one sessions with a a therapist. Unfortunately, this is not the case with C.O.R.E. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR AQUA THERAPY. I do have one positive note, the physical therapist assistant who was in the pool was very attentive to me when I struggled. I appreciated her help. read more

My appointment was at 11, I got there around 10:55 and fill out the paper work in less than 5 minutes! Around 11:30, I informed the receptionist that is running late, and I have to be out of here by 12:30, she told me that I would be seen soon, and I should be out by 12 noon?????? Hey wait a minute, my appointment was at 11 to 12 so one full hour, so I am only getting half and hour????? Unfair and unprofessional! I told them that I was not happy of the wait and told the doctor that I am not go through my appointment today! Based on other reviews they seem to have problems being on time, and under-staff....not a good sign for me! The receptionist told me that I should have come 30 minutes early to fill out the forms, it take them a while to input my paper work in the system, bla, bla, bla,....so many excuses of their inability of over-booking and being under-staff. Give me a break, 30 minutes to fill out a paper work that would take less than 5 minutes to fill up? Besides, I already gave them my insurance information so they already confirmed my coverage. if you don't mind wasting your time, then I guess it's okay to come here, if you value your time like me, then you better think twice about coming here. read more

I've been a client of Matt's since he had a small practice further south on Harbor Blvd. Matt took care of my foot after bunion surgery, I've sent my husband to him, and I'm currently under their care for a hip flexor that's killing me. The new location is large and open, lots of tables and therapy rooms. His therapists are very professional and friendly; they bother to know your name and treat you like you're human. I like that they're not there to bleed down your insurance - they'll let you know how much time you have left, but it's not their main goal to keep you coming to make more money.
