I've tried various PTs through my insurance, but this is the first time I invested in PT out of…read morepocket, and it was absolutely worth it. I felt like my body was twisted and unbalanced, but the PTs covered by my insurance weren't able to help me until the issue I had been expressing eventually led to a severe injury where I couldn't walk for about five days. The PTs would give me exercises that I could have easily found through ChatGPT or a simple Google search, and then send me to an aide. When I had questions, the aides often didn't know the answers. They gave me A LOT of at home exercises, almost a quantity over quality, hoping one works. Then I found Dr. Gary! He is very different from a typical PT. He listens carefully to all of my issues (pain and discomfort seemingly everywhere. I'm sure I sound like a hypochondriac ), and then gives me some really odd exercises that I would never have found on my own. Somehow, I always feel better afterward. He goes all the way down to the basics, even teaching me how to breathe to properly engage my core, when to breathe during an exercise, and exactly where I should be feeling each movement. It's not just "here are some exercises, go do them." He makes sure I understand why I'm doing them and what I should be feeling. He also consistently remembers to send me my homework, often with videos. With the other PTs I tried, I had to repeatedly hunt them down to get my exercises, so I ended up having to rely on memory. Dr. Gary also responds to my questions between sessions if I'm unsure about an exercise, which has been incredibly helpful in making sure I'm doing things correctly. What I appreciate most is how much he genuinely cares about learning and thinking critically. I can tell he is constantly processing what he's seeing and what I'm telling him during our sessions and trying to figure out the root cause of what's going on. He tests and retests his hypotheses until my body gives him feedback that he's on the right track. I'm incredibly thankful for Dr. Gary and the care he puts into his work. If you're dealing with something that feels "off" in your body, I truly believe your health is worth the investment. Don't wait until the problem becomes a serious injury like I did because of the limitations of the insurance system. Take the chance! you may be surprised by how much the right PT can help. I had been going to another PT clinic where I wasn't progressing at all I was always in pain, never getting stronger, and honestly felt stuck, and defeated. That's when I met Dr. Gary. I was stressed, sad, and didn't know where to go next. I felt so far behind in my recovery, but he made sure I knew I wasn't behind and that recovery doesn't have a set timeline. His focus was helping me feel confident again after surgery and learning to trust the process. I had knee pain every time I lunged, and my previous PT basically told me that pain was "normal". However when I told Dr. Gary about it, he actually listened, ran tests, and figured out it was scar tissue buildup. He gave me exercises to help with the pain and slowly rebuild my strength. Every session I have with Dr. Gary he genuinely cares about fixing the problem instead of ignoring it. What I really appreciate is how intentional he is. Any question I had about movements, exercises, or even basic anatomy he explained everything clearly and never made me feel dumb. Unlike other hospitals that only focus on imaging results to push injections or surgery, Dr. Jason Kim took a truly holistic approach. He was professional, genuinely listened to my symptoms, explained the process clearly about finding the root cause of my pain, and made me feel comfortable. Before coming here, stretching, rehab exercises, and foam rolling gave me no lasting relief. Dr. Kim explained that my leg muscles were over-tense and overworked from compensating, which ultimately triggered my ankle and foot pain. He treated me using dry needling. Although the muscle twitching during trigger point release surprised me at first, the heavy soreness quickly subsided. My tight muscles have relaxed significantly after few sessions. I was a little hesitant with the number of reviews but I'm glad that didn't stop me. When I called to inquire about pricing and scheduling, he happened to be the one who actually answered so we were able to have a conversation about the pain I had going on. My in-person consult was very detailed and informative. The office is clean, both him and the lady at the front desk are very professional and polite. I did not use my insurance, I was a cash patient and I believe his pricing is fair for the service he provides. His office can be confusing to get to. It's a large joint building but the easiest way to get there is to park and enter on the main entrance for the building of 6281 which is off Auto Center Drive. You enter in the driveway near the entrance to the I-5 North. As I mentioned up top, I went to two other chiropractors before coming here. The first office I went to was your basic adjustment followed by tens machine and a hot pack for 10 mins. I had 4 visits with them but I didn't feel my pain truly improved, it would just be temporary relief and I was just told to keep coming back until I was pain free. The next office I went to had better equipment and offered some other services for treatment (some unnecessary) but overall were charging WAY too much, like we're talking in the thousands so it just felt more like a monetary scam. I only had 1 treatment visit with them. Both of these offices wanted me to come back repeatedly with no real end sight but I just didn't have the time or money to commit the way they wanted me to. Dr. Lee was the only one who didn't tell me a specific number of visits when I came in. He based everything off the initial visit and first follow up visit to determine what the length of the treatment plan would be. In my case, I was good after the initial and follow up and he advised me I didn't need to return unless I felt the pain again in the future. He's got a lot of years of experience and based off of my own experience this is why I recommend him.

No one except for Dr. Lee has been able to provide the acute care I needed to immediately decrease the pain. I have seen chiropractors all over LA county and Inland Empire, but Dr. Lee is the one I've gone to because he is knowledgeable, caring, and an expert in back care. He's been all over the world prior to setting up shop here, practicing his trade for the last 30 years. The entire session includes: 1) a 30 min hand massage by Dr. Kim, who is a physical therapist, 2) water table massage, and 3) electro massage (TENS unit) with heat pads (optional). The great thing about getting massages before the adjustment is that it loosens the tight muscles, so the adjustment is even more effective. I love it all. I've been going here for 3 years.
