I brought my nephew here to encourage his newfound love of reading. He knew exactly what he was looking for but unfortunately they didn't have any in stock. They were willing to order the books but he found something else instead. I'm in love with the vibe there, but he's 6 and harder to impress. They have books for all ages up to YA, I saw many different genres so I'd think there would be something for everyone. Puppets, bookmarks, games, puzzles and totes are some other offerings. I'll add Coreander's to my list of places to shop when I'm in need of a gift. P.S. easy parking behind the building

This is an adorable bookstore geared to kids - and their parents of course. They have books for toddlers to teens and beyond. All the books are arranged to be at the right height for the littles to peruse them. There are also games and stuffed animals - who can resist a stuffed lemur or flamingo? I took my 14 month old granddaughter there and let her wander around - which is the whole idea - and she found 2 books that she wouldn't let go of, so I guess those were her choices. The staff there was great - even the young teens - they were super friendly and said hi to all the little kids, my gd loved waving at them. There are cute painted murals everywhere, chairs and benches to sit on, so the whole store just feels super welcoming. There is also a coffee and snack shop in the back. I'll try that out when my gd is a bit older and able to sit and eat a snack. Please visit and support this local gem!

This store is the absolute best. Anne Duffey (the owner) and Barb are just the most amazing and…read morecaring people. Highly recommend for a ladies day and any last minute gifts!

I really love this place but I had to dock stars for the customer service. I went into the store…read moretoday to purchase some candles (they have some great ones) and as soon as I walked in the lady present commented that her boss was going to be mad at her because she had sold a table. I laughed and simply acknowledged what she said. She then commented that while I was in the store she would enlist my help to move the table. No asking, just assuming I would help move this table for her. Mind you the table was ON TOP of another table. When I responded that I may not be in there long enough to assist she got very clearly irritated and had some rude remarks about me not wanting to move the table. Ultimately I left with empty hands because I no longer felt comfortable shopping there considering I had no intention of moving the table. I have never been requested, as a paying (or potentially paying) customer, to do "work" for someone employed there. And if I was, I would expect an understanding if I didn't feel comfortable doing it. It may be in the owners interest to speak with this employee about what is and is not good customer service because what I experienced today would NOT fit the bill of it. I now know that if I see a little dog in the door, not to go in because the person working there may not allow me to simply enjoy shopping.
