Let me start out by saying that the ambiance of this place is incredibly cozy and friendly! Everyone really was beyond nice. I've been very lucky to visit wineries all over the country including Napa Valley and have to say this is some of the best wine I've ever tasted. The prices are great and the staff, especially Ashley, are knowledgeable and beyond helpful. I recommend the Midnight Sun or the Twisted sister. If you are in Dallas, it's a short 30 minute drive and we'll worth it.

We discovered the Cork House Winery, we were not disappointed. The owners, Karla and Doug make a special effort to greet everyone that comes through the door. Before we left Friday evening we felt we've been coming here for years. The pandemic made them change sales strategies and appears to have worked. They have quality live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and I'm sure they have seasonal specials as well. The wine bar which may be expanding their selections to include craft beers for the non juice drinker. (Not sure when this will happen) There's indoor and outdoor seating. We totally enjoyed our evening here, we met a few local couples that added to the fun. If you live in the area don't pass it up, it will become your "Cheers". For us out of towner's we will be back. I only wish we had a wine bar as cool as this close to our home in Clear Lake, Texas. Cheers Y'all. Mike and Leslie

We went on a Saturday evening for some wine & semi-enjoyed the live music. I was just so loud you couldn't hear over it but nice atmosphere. The wine tastings were 4 for $10, served all at once. The per glass price was reasonable too. I'd come back if in the area

Atmosphere and ambiance was nice and cozy. Restroom was clean! The music playing was enjoyable and relaxing. Staff was not very friendly or chatty. Did a tasting and she didn't have much to say about the wine. She didn't tell me what she was pouring either, just poured and walked away. 4 tasting was $10. We were the only people in the place so the service should have been impeccable. It wasn't and the wine wasn't that great: found one of 5 that I tried that I enjoyed, however had no snacks, anything to change my palette or pair w the wines as I was trying them. Instead of it being an experience it became a rush to get done and out. Didn't purchase anything and wouldn't return!

You can't go wrong with the Full Bodied greeting and acceptance you get from the the Cork House Winery. The minute you step into this Happy Place you are immediately treated as if you have been a customer from the very beginning. We did a 4 tasting flight for $8 each. Was very impressed with the girl taking care of us. After our flight we chose a glass each and walked out on the back patio that greets you with a warm and inviting touch. Soft glows of Colored LED lighting are kissing the accented benches on the outer perimeter. I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is nestled just off the Waxahachie Square.

Stopped in here for a lovely Friday date night with my husband and we fell in love with this place. The music was fantastic and they had a great whine selection. This is definitely a must see. Thank you for the great service!

A cute little family owned winery we stopped by on our way to see the Ennis bluebonnets. The "wine…read moretasting room" is very cute and there are also little goodies for sale, like candles and gummy wine infused dinos (!!!). There's also a good selection of cheesecakes which sounded interesting but we didn't try them. Staff was very friendly in giving recommendations and describing each wine. Tried a few recommended wines (each person can sample 2 for free) and they were just okay for me. Lots of fruity wines and some seasonal flavors like gingerbread which was interesting. I liked the lime with coconut the most, but didn't love any enough to buy a glass or bottle. We ended up getting the cheese board, which was $18 and came with crackers and a good selection of cheeses, meats, nuts and mustard dip. Adding some grapes would've been amazing!

First let me say that April is their peak time (because it's blue bonnet season and folks are out and about) so they charge a fee to park. We arrived near closing time yet they were kind enough to welcome us in and allow us to look around. We also decided to grab a glass of wine while we walked around looking. I will honestly say that I am NOT a wine snob, I couldn't tell ya a good glass from a bad glass but I don't like dry and I don't usually like reds. With that said I was given some suggestions and for what it's worth, I'd drink it again. We were offered to purchase some cheesecake but without seeing what I was getting and told $11, I passed on it. I will say that the souvenir "glass" that I paid for was disappointing, come to find out it's a plastic cup, however I was told it "floats in the pool" but I'll never know because I don't own a pool to sip and float in. So most the folks out in the yard were wine tasting and seemed to be enjoying what they had. I had one couple who actually went down the list letting me know what their favorites were and why (I took notes). This is a cute little spot off the beaten path. I must say that I'm thankful for a restroom but I'm never a fan of portable potty's and unfortunately this was the only option at the time. If I'm out this way again, I'll make a stop and try a wine flight to see if the other wines live up to the hype.

Everyone was friendly and explained how service works there (later we saw the sign on the wall with the same guidance). Anyway, you check in for your table, and then you order at the counter-wine and/or food. We ordered the garlic knots, a side cous cous salad (but I don't think that's what we got- didn't matter because it was still good), the chicken cheesesteak, pepperoni flatbread and seasoned fries, along with a tasting. We asked for the food to be spaced out a little so we didn't have everything all at once at our very small table. The food was really good. The salad and garlic knots were super filling so we only nibbled on the other items and ended up boxing them up. I will say the flavors of the chicken cheesesteak were delicious, and I was disappointed to find it will be removed from the menu. The tasting consists of 5 wine choices and costs $18 per person. It's a 1.25 ounce pour and gives a good sampling of the wine. I really enjoyed 3 out of the 5 and same for the man. He had more whites, while I had all reds (and of course we shared. We didn't buy any bottles but might next time. Anyway we say several dates, a couple groups of ladies having a night out, families and one birthday party. As I stated earlier, we will go back and I definitely recommend. We spent about $113 pre tip.

Purchased some of their wines, a few wine glasses (which I still use) and went about my business. I found a Groupon on-line for a Tour and Tasting for 2 at a good price. Made reservation for a Saturday afternoon. They are located right off interstate 35 in a little house. They have a small vineyard in the back. Not a fancy winery it is laid back casual. Kind of like 2 guys just making wine out of their house. Actually it is 2 guys making wine in their house. The tasting is done in the dining room next to the kitchen. You will get to sample a few of their wines whites and reds around 7 samples. They will tell you all about the wine. You can buy the wines also. They also give you some food to pair with the wines. The wine was very good some taste better than others. Everyone has their own opinions. Then you will take a tour of the place and the 2 guys running the place will tell you all about how they make the wines. The tour was a little long about 2 and half hours. They like to tell stories about their wines. The Groupon included a photo they will take and put it on a bottle of wine for the cost of their wine. That was very fun I had to buy that. We had a good time worth the time. And drink some wine.
