I am SO glad that I moved close to this liquor store because it is my favorite in Norman. Everyone who works here is beyond helpful, they give great recommendations!! I've never had such a great experience, repeatedly, at a liquor store but these guys really are friendly and helpful. Also, the cutest sweetest little bulldog here makes my DAY!! Besides the amazing staff, the selection is great and they always have awesome specials on wine which is a huge plus for me. Oh, and on Wednesdays they have beer/cider specials! Walked in for a 750 ml Blanton's. Handed clerk my tax exempt. Price showed $136 (and change) on the card reader. Paid by card. Got home. Saw the charged listed as: $149.99. Won't be going back. Store in Moore offering same for $89.00. I'll take all of my future business there. read more

The person at the checkout informed me that my tax exemption was not valid for alcohol purchases. That tax law doesn't go into effect until sometime in 2026. Currently, only mixed drinks are not exempted as they have other ingredients in them. I informed him that I purchased wi es and beers at other retailers without issue. He didn't charge me tax. read more

Stopped by and they were asking $199 for the Weller FP ane $140 for Weller 107 and $199 for Blantons's. Those are all secondary prices that i would expect from someone trying to rip off a person. Not a business trying to get more business. They are their own business so they could do what they want, but it's really disappointing to see that from a local store. This is the best liquor store I was ever in. Bruce and Kathy were the best to me and my husband. We moved to Norman when they first opened and we became best friend customers. They knew who we were and what we liked. My husband died as did Bruce, but until I finally moved back to CA I loved these people. All the staff there were super friendly and made recommendations as needed. read more

For consumers who care about COVID safety, you should know that this business doesn't follow their own policy in regard to masks. The sign on the door says "wear a mask, it's not hard", which is quite true, but the manager himself wears his around his neck. Fine, if you just have to be that guy more power to ya, but maybe don't stalk the front counter talking loudly, unmasked, and hovering over your customers who are just trying to pay and take their stuff home. It pains me to say this, because I've always liked this business and fully supported them through the construction projects that massively cut into their business in recent years, but I won't be back. They have a great wine selection. When they don't have something I want they can usually order it for me and have it the next day. William will help you pick out the perfect wine for any occasion. I will not go here again. They are making money off credit card customers, by charging a covid 19 fee for using your credit card. I think if they are going to charge a fee, they should tell you at time of purchase, that you will be charged unless you use cash ( which cash is dirtier the my credit card) . They said they had it posted, but when she showed me the sign it was in Spanish lol. I think they should verbally tell credit card customers. It's just kinda under handed. That's my 2 cents. They didn't even provide self swiping card machine, they should pay me to touch my credit card. So how much do you think they can make by not having a self swiping machine and everyone paying with credit cards right now because of covid 19. Money is dirty, that's why we have a coin shortage. Overall a great store. Great customer service especially considering how young the employees are! I saw a review that said they "charge a covid 19 fee" on credit card purchases. Simply not true! I was told there is a small charge for using card but that money does not go to the store, rather the credit card company. Apparently it helps keep cost down on items in the store during these hard times. Pretty understandable if you ask me. Would highly recommend! read more

The corkscrew has been around forever and is a great liquor store wine and spirits. Apparently someone accidentally wrote down their delivery from a burrito shop and it went badly for the corkscrew which they are always friendly always say hello. They Always offer to help with your bags. The corkscrew actually has better prices than I have found around town. And I've never been ignored and we owner and his workers at the counter or always ready to talk and laugh with you if you have a sense of humor that is. read more

They are charging a 4% service fee for using your credit card with no notification before the purchase. if I had known that I would have used cash. These people need to be up front with their customers. I don't do business with people like this, I won't be back. Its a pity they are very close and convenient. read more
