My lawn specialist has done business with J & J Nursery for years & years. He purchased the sod by phone to reserve the 1/2 pallet to complete the job. He arrived at J & J Nursery to pick up the sod and noticed immediately that it was yellowing and seemingly half dead, complained to J & J Nursery about the quality and they continued loading onto his truck telling him "the grass was fine, good quality grass". He arrived at my house where I refused to allow him to install grass in such terrible shape & condition. He called J & J Nursery back to ask for a refund or to replace with better condition sod and they flat out refused a refund or replacement. I spoke with the salesman myself from J & J Nursery and he quoted "the customer is always right" & "we stand by our product" . . . but still refused to resolve this issue . . . "too bad, he shouldn't have let us load it onto his truck". I ask you What VALUE is dead grass replacing dead grass ???

The staff here are top-notch. They're always happy to give advice when you ask, and I constantly see them walking around, organizing, and staying busy. The nursery is huge, everything is well organized, and it's easy to browse. They also have some of the best deals and prices I've found. I've scored some incredible bargains on their 4-inch plants for just $1.99. Just make sure you go with at least some self-control because it's way too easy to go overboard--I definitely have! I also bought a Pink Lady seedling here, and it has grown and bloomed beautifully. The quality of their plants is excellent. I've lost a few plants simply because I'm a beginner, but I've also managed to keep many of the ones I bought back in early March, and now it's July. That alone says a lot about the quality, and I'm still excited to keep coming back for more.

He was very knowledgeable and talked us through what would grow best in our soil and in this Texas heat. Demetris and his crew were extremely professional on delivery day and had our tree planted in no time! They went above and beyond to make sure the job was done correctly, that they left our space nicer than it was when they arrived, and Demetris made sure he answered any and all questions we had. Prices are fair for the quality of tree we bought. They gave the tree a fresh cut, and tied it onto the car for us. They also installed a level permanent wooden base at the bottom which made it super easy to stand inside the house. We also bought the Keeps-IT-Green liquid nutrients to lengthen life of the tree. Very nice people, with great customer service. Highly recommend!

Mary was very friendly and helpful! I couldn't believe how busy this place was! They not only have metal signs and yard sculptures, but also carry Mexican pottery, stone, soil, and a variety of plants. We picked out some perennials for a pot & a beautiful vine plant. We needed to run by Lowe's for something else and I saw the same plant there --it was the same price but did not look near as good as the one at Madison Gardens. I highly recommend coming here if you want to spruce up your yard.
