It's beautiful, gorgeous as they say in Ithaca they have such a variety of programs they offer. The campus is beautiful. It's up all these cascading hills with waterfalls breaking through the campus in two spots. There's a combination of modern buildings with Panik views. Collegetown has some great restaurants actually some of the better restaurants in the city of Ithaca are in Collegetown they like make your own bento and some hot pot places and a variety of other cuisines, but cool old architecture, vine covered buildings there's so much to experience in and learn at Cornell. Meals plans make no sense, class schedules are very challenging to arrange etc etc. on top of that the cost is at the very top of the norm which makes it even more frustrating. Met the best people, ate some great food, partied waaayyy too hard and learned from some of the best professors. The Writing Department is unbeatable. Would kill for a Senior Seminar redo. Ithaca College was a little off the beaten path for us on our way up to the University of Rochester where we were going to see our daughter play field hockey, but we knew people who went there and loved it so we checked it out. Ithaca has a great campus and the town is awesome, but I'm not convinced this is going to be high on the boy's list. I don't know what it was, maybe because it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere, or maybe it was the simple lack of students walking around that day...who knows. The people at the admissions welcome desk were awesome and took the time to talk to my son instead of just us. I guess time will tell...

Not a very safe school…read more I had gun put to my head was robbed on campus. An arrest was made because I charged the gun. In addition my room was raided for bombs and only keys to the other rooms in east tower were retrieved. If safety is your priority go elsewhere.

The classrooms are updated with current technology and are well kept. The gorge near the law school is breathtaking! There are lots of great places to eat that are in walking distance. Try it all!
