I ordered a non-standard 1/2 lb. hamburger and my wife ordered a small baked potato. My HB came out with all the fixings and the waiter WROTE down ketchup, lettuce and mayonnaise. Sent it back and came out cold. We were charged 50 cents for a glass of tap water. Oh well, won't go back. read more

Weird. The food deserves four and a half stars, Buffalo chicken wrap, Hawaiian grilled cheese and a club were really good, but the service???? Friendly enough, but their were only two tables that were occupied but I had to get up and refill my glass, my wife and daughter never got a refill. We have been here a couple of times but I keep forgetting to post pics. My husband had the hot dog the last time we were here and he was raving about how great it was. My chili cheese baked potato tasted old and microwaved but the time I had a hamburger it was juicy and good. I think it's worth a try. But you may have to try a few things before you find your favs. UPDATE: Back for lunch and to try the hot dogs. Totally different chili experience in my hot dog today! It was delicious! The burgers here are the best I've ever had, anywhere. Just make sure to tell them you want them medium, or medium-rare, because they don't taste so great if they overcook them (which they often do). I believe their burgers and BBQ are gluten free, too. I love their cole slaw! We're glad that they got rid of the peanuts on the floor and tables because my husband is allergic. Well, been sitting here for 15 minutes while three waitresses and a bartender keep going back and forth to the rear or acting like they are busy. Bartender less than 5 feet from me and the girls keep looking in my direction. Going to wait and see how long this takes and let my tip reflect the service. Menu pretty bare as well. Guess people's expectations here are low low low. Food was not home quality, BBQ burger was a pressed patty and a bun covered in BBQ sauce with a very small cup of brownish coke slaw, tomato soup was bland and lumpy and cheap salsa on the chips. Cup of water was .25 cents. First time I've been charged for water.... waitress staff never once asked if I needed anything, always had to flag them down if I needed anything. One of the worse experiences I've had with food and service, I travel 75% of the time so I've eaten out all over the US and several foreign countries. read more

So far everything I've had here has been good. Love the Shrimp & Crab roll and Hawaiian Grilled Cheese sandwiches and clubhouse salad. My husband has had the French Dip, Cuban sandwiches and Pulled Pork Baked potato and all was good. They only have bottled beer, just the basics, no draft yet and they are not very knowledgeable about beer, but is to be expected since this is a newly "wet" county. They are open on Sundays contrary to another reviewer's comment. I'm glad to have them as an option in Magnolia and hope they stick around. I wish they had more options for kids like grilled chicken, nuggets, etc since mine won't eat hotdogs, grilled cheese or PB&J. read more

Let me start by saying I really wanted to like this place. A new place to eat is always a bonus. My mother and I stopped by today for lunch after renewing my licence since it was located close by. I ordered the taco salad. My mother loves cuban sandwiches and had been wanting to try theirs so she ordered that. My taco salad arrived with sour cream BBQ sauce and guacamole. I tasted my guacamole as that is why I order Mexican food because I love guacamole. I almost got sick. There was so much cumin in the guacamole that was literally all you could taste. The sweet tea I ordered was so watered down it tasted like a lightly sugared water not tea at all. The taco salad itself left much to be desired. The meat had no taco seasoning as well and just tasted like regular hamburger meat I attempted to eat that when I got a bone in my moutg and just stopped. The chips served with it appeared to be the cheapest chips ever made think astec rounds from walmart... a dollar a bag and hard as a brick. My mother's Cuban was so over powered my mustard that was all that could be tasted. The tri noodle pasta salad was horrible as well. I informed the waitress when asked that no I didn't care for the food. Another lady stopped by and asked how everything was and I discussed the issues I felt there was with the dish I ordered. Neither seemed to care or want to fix it all. This is not a place I will eat again and I will not suggest it for others either. Waste of money. Ended up going home and eating. Very disappointing. If alcohol wasn't served in this establishment I don't feel they would even remain open. ****This review was also posted on their Facebook page which received horrible comments from a waitress that works there. The level of professionalism was nonexistent. I attempted to reach out to the owner on Facebook and asked she please contact me about my restaurant expierence and was immediately blocked by the owner. The wait staff is allowed to talk to customers horribly if this is the owners response to a bad experience. **** Make sure you look on their Facebook page to check out the review and see for yourself how the customers who have issues are treated. I have never heard of owners allowing such behavior from the staff and for this reason alone I will not go back. I might have attempted to go back and order something different at a later date had the employees not been so rude. Just a thought before you choose to visit this place. read more

No longer open on Sunday :(. Offers a set plate on Sunday's - this Sunday was BBQ plate with ample helpings of potato salad, Cole Slaw and delicious Baked Beans! BBQ was a generous size! Added to that was homemade Blackberry Cobbler!!!! All for the price of $9.95!!! Well worth the visit and am looking forward to coming back and checking out their menu! Returned today for a quick lunch - service is fast and friendly again! Ordered a Caprese Sandwich on sourdough and boy was I surprised! Really great sandwiches and quick lunch service. They do not serve fries, but rather chips, or potato salad, slaw, etc... all good. Check their face book page for a menu. Good value. Family friendly restaurant. Lots of TV'S and a projection wall for sports. My group of four had a BLT, Club, BBQ Burger, Grand Slam Potato, and a half order of Buffalo wings with sodas and tea. The food is decent but it is a little pricey for what they offer. Also, every single time I have placed an order for months they manage to mess it up. They forget to add the extra things that you paid for! If this happened once, no big deal.
