And I've witnessed them treating others the same or worse while in the waiting room. No one should ever feel unwelcome at a business they're paying for, even more they shouldn't be made to feel stupid/bad when they're asking questions/ trying to get care for their pets! Heaven forbid your behavior make someone not want to get care and an animal suffers for it! And I've done front desk work at a vet for years while I was in school- I get that it's stressful and people can be a lot when it comes to their pets, but there is NO reason to always, without fail, be so sassy, rude, and dare I say, mean. Sarcasm and biting comments are not appropriate for dealing with customers, especially if they may be having the worst day of their life saying good bye to a family member. And as others said, it doesn't matter where you're from- you are being rude and you know it. I'd rate the technicians and vet staff higher; they're the only saving grace. I only keep going back because of them. But I think I'm going to break one day. So business advice: Train your front desk staff better or get new staff. They're the vast majority of your public interaction and they aren't doing you any favors as is. You're certainly already losing business due to this issue with how bad it is. And beyond that, no one should be anxious about calling to get my pet help, but even I am.

Our family were established clients, good on routine exams and vaccinations, but took a pet in for illness. Treatment was administered, but it got worse so we were scheduled again for a few days out, so waited and got more treatment, but things worsened even more, and we were told to go to the out-of-town emergency vet; we couldn't be fit in/they couldn't do anything else. But the emergency vet was confused how our normal vet reached the diagnosis they had and told us that the treatment we were given is what made our pet rapidly decline. The emergency vet diagnostically confirmed we'd been misdiagnosed. All Animal's missed a chronic condition, then gave us a wrong diagnosis which led to receiving medicine that not only exacerbated our pet's condition, but did so to the point that organs were failing. Our pet, who was a beloved family member, passed away at the emergency vet as a result. (The condition that should have been noticed was a heart condition that could have been managed if caught and treated.) We can't get that time back. We can't replace the loved one we've lost. I did try going back.. Switching vets is a hassle and I did like the staff here... But no matter how nice staff or facilities are, I need the veterinarian to be knowledgeable about pet health first and foremost. I'm trusting you with a family member's life. I am not angry, but I am hurt, and I do need to protect my remaining furry family.

Brad was impatient and kept huffing and puffing and rolling his eyes and was doing everything he could to bully and intimidate me. He ended up storming off and another employee had to take over for him. I don't know what his problem might be but I suspect he has a problem with women as I do not feel he would have ever behaved with another man as he did with me. I wasn't upset in the least and tried to ignore his ill tempered answers to my questions until I could no longer ignore his bad behavior. People need to speak up when someone treats them like this so it doesn't happen to someone else.

I scheduled my appointment online about 2 weeks ago for today August 17th at 4:00 p.m. this morning the groomer called me at 11:00 a.m. asking if I could come in earlier because they close at 6:00 p.m. today and she didn't want to be rushed first off why do they offer 4:00 p.m. appointment on Sunday when they close at 6:00 if it was going to make them rest secondly I agreed to come in an hour earlier if I get there at 3:00 just to find out that their records show that my appointment doesn't begin until 4:00 mind you they didn't tell me this until 4:00 so my dog sat back inside and the kennel or whatever for an hour then the groomer comes out and tells me that my dog is getting big and she's going to lunch so grooming when she gets back so in the meantime I'm very frustrated and so I talked to the manager and she's just like yes ma'am yes ma'am and they didn't offer to do anything and so they said I would be charged for just the bath which included a nail trim which was needed badly so I told him to make sure to trim his nails so the Grandma comes back from lunch doesn't say boo to me and then I see it finally at 4:45 that someone has my dog in the grooming area you know combing it real slow while the groomer has her back to me talking to that person so I asked another lady if she could go check to see if his nails have been done yet so we could go because I didn't ask for him to be styled or anything she comes back tosses my dog into my arms and I say well I checked his nails and they hadn't been done I said why she said because you're being very rude to us man just go free of charge so I went back to the manager that I spoke with earlier and I asked her I said man was I rude when I spoke to you and the groomers over there earlier she said no ma'am I said well they just told me they just tossed my dog in my arms and told me that I'm being very rude so they didn't even cut his nails or anything all they did was bathe and dry him which he wasn't even all the way dry and said to leave free of charge so she says what I'm a new manager so I'm not sure what can be done I said is there another man during the storm she said yes so she went and got him I told him the whole story and he says will let me go talk to him he goes over there and is over there with the groomers for probably I don't know 15 minutes and he comes back over and I said well what did they tell you why I was being rude and he said no we didn't talk about specifics all they mentioned was that you happen to say a comment that you've heard bad things about Petco grooming yes I did say that as a passing comment when I was talking to the lady who checked me in wasn't a big deal besides whether I heard bad things or not I was there to get my dog groomed wasn't I he didn't talk about specifics with him what the fuck did you go over there and talk about then So it all ended with My dog just getting a bath and nothing else Which I got for free big deal That's not what I went there to get all I ask was why did you ask me to come in an hour earlier if you're not going to start my appointment until an hour later and then you up and go to lunch so I gotta wait another 30 minutes till you get back And no one could answer me The other girls were like I don't know I don't know what we can ask her when she gets back from lunch And then she gets back from lunch and then stay boo to me The place is very rude I don't know how they're grooming skills are because I didn't get a chance Experience it But just for the store in general and the managers dug and whatever the new girl manager's name was and then the groomer is Emily J Negative negative review for those people And the entire experience

I have seen meaningful improvements in her progress using the behavior modifications he suggested. I completely recommend MTC for dog training or behavior modification. The techniques Baron provided are techniques I am confident to implement and can be done at any setting.
