We are lead by a strong leadership team of men and women dedicated to lead people to Jesus! Our lead Pastor is Christian Newsome who is bright, energetic and filled with the love of Jesus! His sermons are always from the word of God and incorporate the Gospel in a meaningful way. Our youth program from age One thru High school and College is exceptional! Kids camp every June has over 500 kids! Our student life program is in the hundreds as well! They come because they get fed with Jesus filled leaders who love and care for all these young people! I've been around the "religious" block a few times, I would say, and there is no pretentious feelings about being in this church that I have experienced before in may other "Johnson County" churches. The pastor isn't up there in a swanky golf get-up, babbling about judgment and hating, but preaching the Gospel Truth. Acts 29. Gospel Life. Kevin Cawley and Adam Breckenridge are both outstanding pastors. Two different styles, both set ablaze by the love of Christ. The community is friendly and inviting. And this past weekend, I was profoundly excited to see a man I'd never seen before take the worship stage and reign in my ears--Brian Key. I've only found one other man, personally, sing like he can to literally put you in a different place than where you're presently standing. A gift. An awesome church. A fresh cultivation. I pray for great things and I'm excited to find Redeemer and revel in the good they will bring to JoCo.

We found all of those things here. It is a bigger church, but the love is genuine. The services consistently have worship music done well that uses songs that are scriptural and give God praise. The best though, are the sermons. They continually point to God, his magnificence, the genuine word of God in all its beauty- moments of redirection and how to apply Gods truths to our heart and lives, all while full of His grace, love, and truth. The people love God and strive to love and help others. If you want to learn more about God, love Him more, and find others to live in fellowship with going in that same direction with grace....you can't go wrong visiting Redeemer, here or in Midtown.

The campus is large with several meeting rooms and offices. The entrance area is inviting, with warm smiles and piping hot coffee awaiting you. The staff are always welcoming and are quick to answer questions. There are Life groups available with a variety of ways people can become involved and engaged. We love Life Kids which is tailored just for the younger kids. While the Life "Switch" group is available just for high school age kids. Every age feels included and meets them at their level. The Sunday church service includes 3 service times (8:30, 10 and 11:30am). All include awesome kids care. The services begin with a mix of traditional and contemporary music. Then worship service begins with a variety of amazing topics that are relatable and relevant for life today. Over this church could be described as welcoming and non-judgmental, with a special place for everyone.

Everyone was really surprised they had good reviews, none of the people on the site were in the room where I attended, and the amount of times discipline was used made me feel a little thrown off, not the biggest red flags but I just had a weird feeling in my gut. So I looked up Kansas City International Christian Church which is what this church had a whole presentation on being apart of & it's founded by the same man that founded International Church of Christ, Thomas "Kip" McKean & this made me have some MAJOR concerns (look this up). Not to mention all reviews for this church are no recent than 2020 & the Facebook page for Kansas City international Christian church has 5 reviews with 3 talking about money & bitcoin which is odd to me. Too many red flags & I just didn't feel comfortable but the small group I met was kind my first visit.

It has a large parking lot, and is a nice sized church. The bookstore is one of the first things you see when entering, after walking across the large entrance. The bookstore is beautiful, with not only religious books but metaphysical, and self help books, as well as crystals, and healing tools, pendulums, jewelry, gifts. The staff is helpful and know their products. In the church itself, are several large "Sunday School" rooms, that are used for meetings during non church times. The large reiki group meets here 2 Mondays a month. On the next day, there may be a Buddahist gathering, that's how Unity Church is. The sanctuary is medium sized, bright even at night. The pews are light colored wood. Padded. The sound is sufficient for speakers, or even quiet activities like Shamanic drumming groups. The stage area has 4 steps, and a bright light. The speakers always complain about the bright light, but it makes them look good. I can see this used for weddings in the summer. The yellow tones would be a beautiful backdrop. There's alot of metaphysical events that take place here. An entire calendar is on their website. I appreciate Unity as they are not a "holier than thou" church. I really like this location.
