Love is mentioned 200 times in the Old Testament and you definitely feel love in this church. The way the message is delivered is so aesthetic. I FELT the message, I received the message. I've been to a variety of different churches in search of a connection my whole life (48 years) and I finally found it at COR. Pastor Scott and Pastor Adam are truly amazing in the way they share the message. There are so many activities and opportunities for someone to stay connected. Great for the kids, lots of food, fun, and volunteer opportunities in the church and beyond. The warmth and fellowship of a church community sans supernatural belief requirements. Plus encouragement to live mindfully, ethically, and contribute to the larger world. Opportunities for kids to learn about a variety of topics in a safe environment and make a separate set of friends from school. Of course, no church is PERFECT, but this one's got a lot of potential for greatness...

The services are very meaningful and help us apply passages from the Bible to our daily lives. This church is an integral part of the Raytown and Eastern Kansas City Missouri. They are involved in so many projects that reach out to the community. Some call this church the "heartbeat" of the community. There are many friendly members who help make you feel welcome!

The pastor stays on topic and is easy to follow, usually has a 4 to 5 week series that discusses. The songs and scripture are projected to a large screen to help you follow along or you can use the hymnal or Bible. They have a food pantry and a summer lunch program. They provide other services throughout the year. They share the church with Power Shift, I have not been to this service. I think they start at 1:00pm. I think whichever service you would attend you would enjoy it.

Let the wheat and weeds grow together. If God allows the weeds to be removed too fast you may not grow the way you should. You may not be what you need to be but you are where God wants you to be. My grace is what you need to withstand the pressure of the weeds that surrounds you. God has been grace in the midst of your shortcomings. Lord have your way in the midst of our storms. The storms didn't go away but he allowed peace. *There's a blessing in having weeds. The weeds jeep you humble. When my back is against the wall he holds me up. If we had it our way we would cut people off and wouldn't allow them into heaven. God says don't separate weeds from the wheat. Stop trying to meet everyone's standards to serve God. Trust God and allow him to strengthen and build you.
