So many great attributes to say but first I'd like to say that this facility is a non profit and the owners and board members don't get paid and all the money goes to the facility,teachers,food, transportation and most importantly the curriculum . With that being said ,I do highly recommend CCA to parents who want to start their children off with a highly accredited curriculum & spiritual truth for Jesus Christ. My Daughter went there and because of the teachers and education she tested above her grade and academic level by 2 years . CCA was the best decision for her that I've made and she weeping the benefits of a higher education and not to mention her personal relationship with Jesus was highly encouraged at CCA. My son who attends the school now is also a grade ahead of his peers and tested highest for his age by the Standard state testing . I love the personal care the staff and facility put into making sure the school is a safe and monitored place for my son to be. My son has been there for 5 years now and along the way there have been some pretty disrespectful kids who have enrolled there but due to the HIGHEST STANDARD of learning and teaching the school had to make some tough decision on wether or not to keep them or to let them go due to other parents who complained about those particular kids. I'm pleased that every decision no matter how big or small goes through the Board of Directors (un paid members who don't benefit profit wise) and that they keep the parents updated. I specifically Love the huge fall festival they do every year to get the community involved. I've had the pleasure of meeting the owners on several occasions and I can say that they Love the kids and pour a lot of their own money into the school and kids to make sure they have the best for them. My other son will be starting nest year and he's super excited and I can't wait to see his relationship with the Lord develop through his learning . I have given CCA A 5 STAR RATING BUT WISH THERE WAS A 10 due to the immaculate standards they have with education and discernment. read more

I have two children who first attended Precious Lambs Learning Center and now attend Cornerstone Christian Academy (CCA) in Woodbridge, VA. The administrative staff, the teaching staff and support staff are are highly professional, compassionate, and are very approachable. I am not sure what the circumstances were which caused a few negative reviews but I have only praise for all of CCA's staff and students. The curriculum at CCA challenges both of my children to excel and is one of the main reasons I enrolled them at CCA. The other reason is that it's obvious the teaching staff loves working with children and enabling them to be their academic and creative best. And, being a Christian family, there's is NOTHING LIKE overhearing my children talk about God, Jesus, Biblical principles and sharing Bible stories outside of school. My children look forward to being at school each day and are very excited to tell me all about their day. My children are happy, loved, nurtured, and, learn respect at CCA. I am very pleased with CCA overall and would recommend it to other parents seeking a proactive, Christian learning environment for their children. That said, whether it's a school, workplace, home, etc., no environment is 100% perfect -- all the time. Everyone should be allotted an to opportunity to learn from experiences and grow positively and productively from them. One of the things I admire about CCA as an institution is that it's continuously in an improvement mode. If something is "broken" they do their best to fix it. That can't be said for may other environments. I'm sorry a few other parents didn't find CCA to be a good fit for their children. For my children and me, however, CCA fits like a glove. read more

Christian Cornerstone Academy in Lake Ridge, Virginia is a terrific school and after school care provider. My eldest daughter started going to their facility in Dillingham Square in 2014 and goes today for after school care in addition to my younger two daughters: one enrolled full time in their Pre-K program and the other also a Pre-K graduate enrolled in after school care. The staff members at CCA are caring, compassionate and attentive to each child's individual needs. In addition to the warm family atmosphere, the course work offered in their Pre-K program is top notch. Two of my daughters have graduated from their Pre-K program and gone onto public school starting at the top of their classes. CCA teaches their young students not only how to read and complete basic math skills but also how to behave and be active and engaged members in the classroom environment. I strongly encourage anyone to check out CCA and enroll their children. I am very happy I did. read more

After the pandemic and attending public school virtually for over a year our child was having some challenges. Our child was not were she needed to be academically and hated school--as a first grader?! Our other 3 children all went to Cornerstone in Michigan and consistently tested above grade level by at least 2 years in all areas. When we met with the administrators at Cornerstone they empathized with our situation and agreed to take our child in more than half way through the school year. They catered to our child and brought her up to speed. Cornerstone has small class sizes and a family faith-based atmosphere. Our child was lost in the big neighborhood public school(with children stuffed in trailers!). Here at Cornerstone, every teacher, aide, and administrator knows our child's name. She feels loved and she loves school and learning. The staff is amazing and they truly care about ALL the kids. Great Job. Best move we ever made! read more

I want to thank the staff for always working with my son and giving him the best encouragement for learning and growth. My son loves it there and always comes home telling me what he is learning. I'm so thankful to have found this place 3 years ago when I moved to Woodbridge. I have noticed how excited he gets talking about Jesus and I have the staff to thank for always encouraging him. My son started off with a slight learning disability but through patience and the determination of his teacher/administration we were able to find the best learning skills for him. I just can't say Thank you and God Bless enough to them. I love how sincere and honest the administration has been to me along the way through his journey. When we moved to the DC area, we were overwhelmed by the options for preschool. After visiting several local preschools, we toured Cornerstone Academy and signed up immediately because we were so impressed. The school is clean, high-tech, the teaching supplies and materials are excellent, has highly qualified teachers who WANT to be there, and offers an incredible curriculum filled with Spanish, French, music, outside play, and more. All of the above are the reasons we chose to send our daughter in Cornerstone Academy but what we have come to appreciate are not the academics or quick facts. We love Cornerstone Academy because the administrators and teachers actually care about our daughter and her well-being. My son has been attending Cornerstone Christian Academy since pre K, he is now in the 2nd grade and I must say, I absolutely LOVE IT!! It's my intention to keep him there as long as I can "financially". My Son has been reading at a grade 2-3 level, when he was in the 1st Grade, and he continue to excel in his school work. The teachers are awesome and they are all true believers. For three summers my niece(who lives in Ohio) attended Cornerstone Christian Academy and this past summer she volunteered. I heard about this christian based school by someone who worked there and said that their programs were age appropriate and a lot of fun. I shared that information with her father and he found it to be true. The staff is friendly, approachable, energetic their fees are affordable and most important loves to share all they know about Jesus. My niece now is to old to attend their private school but if she lived in the area earlier, this would have been my choice of schools for her to attend. read more

Cornerstone Christian Academy is an outstanding learning facility. My daughter started at Cornerstone when she was 4 and she will be turning 8 soon. My daughter is well above grade level and enjoys learning. Her teacher pushes her to  be better than average. The learning environment caters to each student's needs. I am so fortunate to have her teacher Ms. A for another year. My daughter feels respected and loved, which is seen through her smiles and accomplishments. CCA is a wonderful school for my children 5 and 6 years old. They teach the principles of the Bible and the teachers have a real heart for children. The class sizes are small compared to other private christian schools in Woodbridge. Ms Karesse is an amazing advanced Pre-K Teacher. She teaches the Abeka curriculum, French and Math. Because of her my daughter is more than prepared for Kindergarten next year. My daughter was in the Kindergarten class here this year. I could not have asked for a better teacher and first year school experience! I love how the Bible and Christian character is taught and incorporated into every activity, and how the teachers and staff truly demonstrate their love and care for the children under their care. Academically, I watched my child start the year barely able to write her name, to being able to read books and write sentences by the end of the year. I have really enjoyed my experience with CCA. my youngest child attended full time for pre-k and is excelling in his kindergarten class! His K teacher recently inquired which pre-k program my child went to and even stated that CCA sends out great students! My Grandchildren have attended Cornerstone since 2007. Two are now in High School and upon leaving Cornerstone, both tested out post high school. One received the Presidential Award for education. I am very pleased with their academic education and spiritual education. They were taught to love Jesus, respect and Godly character. Cornerstone Christian Academy has been the answer to my prayers for 4 years. I love that it has that "small school" feeling.
