It was an incredibly beautiful prayer. The music was so well done. I knew all the songs and it made me feel happy that I had chosen this church. The pastor preached right from the Bible he was great. When the service was over,again someone met me as I was walking out and invited me over to the information booth. I look forward to going back. They have many service options and are just really nice people. It gets a 10 for my rating one being the lowest 10 being the highest.

I have 2 boys (3 and 6) that go in the Toddler room and Oasis Children's ministry. My son's love it in there and love their teachers and friends. The children's ministry really cares about my children. Praise and worship is awesome. You are free to come up to the altar to worship during praise and worship time. There is a nursing mother's room for new mommies. Yes we tithe, yes we pray, yes we sing, yes we pray in tongues, yes women speak from the pulpit, YES we wait on the Holy Spirit, YES we operate in the gifts of the spirit! Yes we read our Bible and celebrate others who read the Bible. Bring a notebook or journal, your Bible, and some pens. THIS CHURCH SAVED MY LIFE…read more Growing up, I'd go to this church with my family on special occasions, and honestly, I'd dread it and never really pay attention. When Pastor Chet started, everything changed. His energy, humor, and the way he shared God's message made it impossible for my mind to drift elsewhere. Five years ago, I went through the darkest chapter of my life. I was struggling with ongoing depression, crippling anxiety, and constant nightmares. During one service, my anxiety was overwhelming, so I closed my eyes and prayed for peace. That happened to be the day Pastor Chet invited anyone who wanted to surrender their life to Jesus to come to the front for prayer. What I experienced during that prayer is something that's hard to put into words, but it's what made me certain that Jesus is real. Not long after, I got baptized. My nightmares disappeared, my relationships began to heal, and the darkness and fear that had weighed so heavily on me no longer had the same hold on my life. I'll never be able to fully express how grateful I am for this church and for everything God has done in my life. Forever thankful.

I watched about 3 sermons online about Galatians and went to visit Sunday at 8:30. It was easy to get in and we were greeted and ushered. Worship was fine but I didn't know the songs so I spent a lot of time reading the lyrics. The sermon is the most important part of a church service to me, and I found the pastor's sermon on Judging not Lest ye be Judged to be subtle and good. I had many questions, because in that same sermon he told the congregation not to model ourselves after hollywood marriages, that children shouldn't be asked what they want to eat for dinner at the grocery store (rather the parent should lead), and talked about not throwing your pearls before swine, so discernment and judgment ate different. Overall an interesting topic! Left me with a lot of questions though. I think a church can never be 4 or 5 stars until it's very clear how to plug in to activities and it's clear that new attendees are welcome. The announcements section that Sunday didn't have an invitation that I remember to plug into any new attendee events. A simple "raise your hand if this is your first time here" or something like that would be recommendable in my opinion. Looking forward to coming back! Thank you for opening your doors to the community! I like that there is a meeting at The Enclave as well. I think moving the Food Truck Fellowship event from Calvary Life to The Enclave might help bring in new attendees.

We are fans of Christian rock and we are so impressed by the talent and passion of the musicians. We can't help but feel the spirit and sing, dance and sometimes cry along. 2) The kids program is the best in the Westside. There is a four story kids building on the campus and the teachers make it fun with games, video Biblical stories, crafts and meaningful write-ups for children to engage. 3) The church is very welcoming. Every Sunday, new members are encouraged to register and connect. The church then invites you to a welcome lunch with the pastor and to join a small group or topic based event / prgoram. We just signed up for a 3 month Sacred Marriage Group. One of the volunteers also took us for a tour of the church and campus on our first visit, and there is coffee available for the community. After the music portion, you are asked to greet and get to know someone new next to you. It's very sweet and Community oriented. 4) The sermons are action-oriented and based in biblical stories and teachings. We are given a way to reflect and take action each week, which is a nice way to absorb the learnings from the sermon. I do like the Biblical readings and translations and would love even more of this because I feel the Biblical teachings ground us in the source substance and weight. We look forward to experiencing more and are grateful to have found a gentle and spiritual home for our family

She always gives to other people, she has been there for me no matter which way my life turns, she's always there she's never forsaken me, standing strongly by my side no matter what I need. She's remarkable I am so grateful to know them and be a part of BAYCITIES church. The first time I walked in the door I was nervous and I felt loved, accepted, a part of, a solid Christian Community. I now live on the island of Maui and unfortunately have not been able to find a church group that I can feel so loved accepted and part of, where I have guidance and support and love no matter what. We decided to raise our kids in the church and let them make their own decision about God. 30 or more years later, my husband has accepted Christ as his Savior along with our kids and all my in-laws! This disciple of Christ church is a wonderful and loving community that reflects the love and grace of our Savior Jesus, which is hard to find in this day of judgement and division. It is accepting of everyone and is involved in many outreach programs - Love Inc, All People's Church, Family Promise, American Cancer Society - Relay For Life, and many more. Vacation Bible School happens every summer and the kids always have fun! If you are looking for a church home, it is defiantly worth checking it out.

I thought the service was beautiful as they ( the church) knew her well. The hymns were refreshing without the band and drums etc. I will say that I met the pastor and she is very nice but after speaking to her and looking at the website ( their mission statement) to consider visiting for a church service this doesn't appear to be a Biblically sound church sadly. It appears the Lead Pastor is female? This is not Biblical. Like others mentioned it feels Joel Olsteen adjacent. Don't ask the hard questions. Everything is ok and we just love everyone. Which sounds good (worldly) but doesn't coincide with true biblical teaching. When I looked at their mission statement online, I was shocked. They literally say some people take the Bible literally some don't but we respect it as a guide... kinda thing. Warning lights and red flags everywhere. Watering down the errant Word of God is common in many churches these days. They don't appear to want to offend anyone or confront sin. Its a beautiful church aesthetically inside and out. The people seem friendly, it's a shame it is the kind of church we are warned about in these times. I'm saddened but felt I needed to put the warning out there.
