I took these classes voluntarily and if you go in with an interest in learning and bettering yourself he is a great guy to work with. The office location in Simi Valley is very professional and tidy with plentiful parking, and very easy to find. My sessions with Scott were friendly and productive, and he was able to be very flexible to accommodate my schedule and finish my course in a timely fashion. I was treated with respect and kindness within every interaction, and felt my time was very well spent. While I'm calling around to try to find out who I can get to help me always supervise visits knowing that there is only so many people in Ventura/Simi Valley that would actually be able to help you. No wonder they are very short and overly priced but I guess you can do that when this is some thing where you half to have a supervisor and they're the only ones almost in Simi Valley that will actually be able to do it for you so they can charge whatever they would like. I called to see about pricing on how the option works in regards to the facility the person who answered the phone was very short very rude very not welcoming and when I asked about how the process works they told me it was $150 an hour for supervised visits and when I said that was out of my price range they said OK good luck goodbye and hung up on me. Instead of trying to see about my situation and how they could help what was going on I got completely shut off so high don't feel that this is the right thing for this company to do I feel very discouraged as now I don't know what to do I am and I am unable to see my children because I can't get a supervisor that is available And at a reasonable price let alone read more

Just wanted to give a shout out to Cornerstone and Director Scott! After putting my putting myself in a compromising situation, as part of my plea deal, I was ordered tordered to take 52 weeks of Domestic Violence classes. I was referred to cornerstone and like most people who are faced by change, resisted the class and the course work. After spending some time taking the classes I came to the realization that the course work was extremely important. I would go as far as to say that this course work that cornerstone offers should be more than just a punitive result from the courts of poor judgment and should be taught to all young men at the junior high level. The techniques Scott offers are 7 Scott's very humorous and mild manner approach to the class allows all participants to let their guard down and express their true feelings without feeling condemned or judged. As a business professional, I never thought I would be in this situation but thanks to Scott I have learned a tremendous amount of information and techniques that I will apply to to my life far after the class ends. No matter what your age, it's never too late to learn and to change for the better! Through Scott's encouragement, I purposed in my heart and soul to go completely sober. It took a little bit of time and hearing the testimonies of many of the men who who went shober, because drugs and alcohol contributed to the situation that put them in the judicial system, I purposed in my heart to go sober and never drink again. Scott's encouragement, along with those in the class have helped me tremendously to remain sober and I am excited to turn over a new leaf in all relationships using the techniques learned through the Cornerstone class work. I have taken 38 of the court mandated 52 classes. I truly feel that I am going to miss the week weekly meeting and all the men who I have come to honor and respect as I see them all make remarkable changes for the better in their lives. I've taken a zoom class each week which has been supportive to mix with others in the zoom class as Scott presents new material each week and leads group discussion on the new material.
