We were called back with a few short minutes, all the pertinent information was reviewed and we were informed who the provider would be and how long to expect for his arrival. The PA named Jack was very professional and kind as well. He explained what the xrays showed in a way that was easy to understand. He presented my daughter with a couple options for treatment and asked for her input. I feel this is an important part of the professional relationship as it allows the patient to be empowered to choose for themselves. Heather came in to check which boot would work best and was very careful in the process so as to keep from causing pain. She also made sure the explain the bill my daughter would be receiving for the boot and assured her that she would not be responsible for the amount shown as that's the pre-insurance cost. That was very helpful to know. Great experience with wonderful professionals! I highly recommend this office.

i had an appointment for the first time. i seen a michelle dewitt. a male friend of mine went with…read moreme. this lady doctor, had not read up on the mri i had done at dri imaging in burlington nc. it was set up by my medical doctor of 34 yrs. of my lumbar & left kenee. my medical doctor told me i had 7 seriously disk in my spine that needed surgery. it had been less than 6 mhts. this dr. dewitt was out of the office of highpoint nc. she was rude, i asked her about my mri, she did look at me, she was flirting with my friend. i asked a second time about the results of my spine. again she did not respond to me. she told my friend she was going to order another mri from neck down the entire spine. medicaid denied her request, because i had just had one. i got no answers, she was rude and had a terrible befside manner. i walked out, than the sent me an text saying i had an appointment 6 to 8 weeks later. i called and canceled it several days before the appointment was supposed to be i told the office why. she was rude, did not care about her patients. etc, and she was not my doctor. i need to call medicaid and tell them i was not at her patient and i canceled the appointment. i found out she billed medicaid in nc $614.00 for a office vist that no one was at. that's wrong and as soon as i can. i'm calling the main office for medicaid and tell them she billed them and they paid her, 610.00. and there was a no show. i went to the office. in highpoint nc. do not go to see doctoe dewitt. she doesnt care about people.

I would not still be here today if it were not for her ability to listen, provide treatment in a highly professional manner. She is proactive, not reactive and gets to the root cause. Her ability to communicate, empathize, and determine the next step is no less than phenomenal and encouraging. I highly recommend her and don't know, nor want to know, where my overall health would be if not for her.

I went in for a routine physical and and wanted to get an mri on my knee since its been bothering me for a while. They said they need to clear it up with insurance and then they will call to schedule. A week passed by so I decided to call cornerstone. They informed me that they're waiting on approval from insurance. I called my insurance and they told me they've never received a request. Called cornerstone back and they say the request never made it out for some reason. Waited another week and still nothing. Called cornerstone yet again and they still haven't sent a request! Finally they sent the request out and scheduled an mri appointment. Got my mri and the nurse says you should hear back within a day or 2 with the results. After the 4th day I called and inquired and they said they'll leave a note for the doctor to call. It's a week now and I'm still waiting...

Instead of working with the other office to insure timely and convenient medical help, Cornerstone insisted on falling back on company policy of not sending Doctors orders for ordering the necessary follow up testing (even though the other facility says they get orders from outside of state routinely-it is not any kind of 'law'). I felt Cornerstone was not acting in the welfare of the patient, but in their own interests. I will be changing providers.

They provided anything I needed, including personal care items, specific dietary needs, and even entertainment. It was a scary time for me, and I could feel that the nursing staff were doing all they could to alleviate any anxiety I had. Even the dietary department mad me feel like a queen. There was limited number of things I could eat, but they made sure those items were fresh and delicious. I am so grateful for everyone involved in my care there. I have written on their cards to shout out each individual who I remembered, but I wanted to share my experience here has well. Something good is going on in Kernersville at this Hospital. This Novant Health facility is Kiesha Speech approved.

Instead, we spent over 6 hours sitting in uncertainty with little to no communication about what was going on. To make matters worse, after the ultrasound was performed, we were told that because this is an emergency clinic, we were not allowed to see the ultrasound. We were left with more questions than answers and no clear explanation of what was happening. Every time we asked for an update, we felt like we were being brushed aside rather than informed. No family should have to spend hour after hour worrying and wondering about such an important situation while receiving virtually no information. The lack of communication, transparency, and concern for patients made an already stressful experience even more frustrating. What should have been a joyful day turned into a long, exhausting, and emotionally draining ordeal. I cannot recommend this facility based on our experience.

I want to give a shout out to Shamika (not sure of the spelling) in the surgical services waiting area. She was just a ray of absolute sunshine and so very kind and accommodating. She really made the experience there so wonderful. (Give her a raise, NOVANT... she's representing you VERY WELL!) The anesthesiologist and nurses were all very thorough in explaining what to expect, timeframes and such. Due to my daughter's low blood sugar, they made sure to raise it with meds before taking her back. They were very reassuring. The nurse who tended to my daughter in recovery was great. She was so polite and thoughtful, making sure to explain the discharge instructions to both my daughter and myself. Great experience!
