Excellent clinical staff, Jessica Shelley NP, Diane Esposito NP, Shelby RN. Exceptionally poor office management & billing management & practices. Unclear if the back office staff is based in America or Philippines, but they routinely threaten to withhold treatment or discharge you from the practice. One can only assume this is under the direction of CEO & founder Marc Ettensohn. Have never seen the guy, only dealt with the NPs. Financial considerations are the only concern of this practice, based on the office manager's behavior & discharge from psychiatric care with immediate effect, all scheduled appointments cancelled. No medical practice of any repute would treat their patients in this manner. Avoid this practice at all costs. Unethical & unprofessional. Marc Ettensohn should be avoided at all costs. I've never been grossly mistreated, neglected and my treatment needs were handled in this situation. Not only by cornerstone psychiatric care as a whole but even more so their primary psychiatrist "Dr. Jaison Nainaparampil" Not only was I grossly mistreated. Despite all this I was left without sufficient medication despite being told it was policy not only by their practice but as state guidelines that if a medication was confirmed and agreed upon during a session. Even if terminated as a client that the practice is obligated to follow that 30 days following termination. Which is one of the many things they rescinded when it was convenient to them. So they operate as if following the best of needs for their client as well as that they will follow state, legal, moral, ethical guidelines. But when it suits them they pick and choose which they follow. read more

Christine Moffa, APRN ordered the incorrect dosage of a medication I was taking. Luckily I knew what to take. When I complained, they discharged me from the practice. Mind you, I told them I'd never go to them again. Totally incompetent and unprofessional. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Other patients should never have to go through what I have gone through with Cornerstone Psychiatric Care of Palm Beach Florida. All they care about is money- and if there is a billing error on their end, they will drop you without recourse, and without a shred of dignity or respect. lf you have been seeing your physician for a while here, don't think you aren't subject to the same! They gaslit my emotions and experiences, and did not respect me as a human being. There is a serious lack of compassion. They care about the bottom financial line, not their patients. I was a patient of Dr. J for almost 2 years, and I have been a patient of his since he started at Cornerstone Psychiatric Care. In my experience, this practice does not bill properly and does not know what is going on with insurance. This practice abandoned me as a patient for "not paying for my treatment" when I had in fact never missed a payment with them. I paid them more than $1400 on May 9- on the spot when I found out they were terminating me as a patient due to nonpayment even though I had never not paid them, and they had never issued me a bill for that amount. They had never called me to let me know they needed more money than I had given them- not even once. They waited to bill my insurance for 6 months at a time and sprung payments on me twice in the past year- but I had accommodated that because I needed to continue seeing my doctor. I never missed a payment with them. Even though I paid the entire patient balance that I could find on their patient portal on May 9- which was not even correct and more than $1400, they still refused to treat me. They won't refund me, they won't let me see my doctor. Just... crickets. I have no one in my area that can treat my specific issues. I drove more than 400 miles round trip every single week to see Dr. J. But my loyalty and pristine payment history did not and does not matter to them. They are keeping that money even though they are still refusing to treat me as a patient. Every time I inquire about how much money I owe them I am given a new number- told it is $0, more than $4,000, or $0 again. Which is it? They won't respond. They don't know. I gave them every opportunity to fix the problem and they declined. They abandoned me as a patient which resulted in subsequent harm. I am lucky I survived. They need to realize how much they affect their patients- good and bad. When you trust someone for psychiatric services, you expect them to honor that. This is a psychiatric facility- they should care about their clients mental health and certainly not terminate them without notice or ability to process that with their physician who was doing therapy with them 3 times a week for a year and then two times a week. I also agree with the other reviews about the front desk being very nasty on the phone. I have given them almost 2 months now to fix the problem and it is very clear they have no interest in doing so. I am forced now to file a complaint with the BBB and the Florida medical board. read more

I had a very good experience with Dr. Flannigan and ARNP Jessica. They are able to answer questions relatively quickly between appointments, usually same day or next day, which I really appreciate. Their new office looks great as well. read more

How dare you speak to patients the way you do, I've been an established patient for 3 years and you are a terrible terrible person for what you said! Just because patients don't complain to your supervisor doesn't give you permission to talk to patients in NASTY way. I hope Dr. Flanagan and your boss read this post. Dr. Flanagan is BY FAR the best psychiatrist I've seen since mov to Florida 7 years ago. Cornerstone's customer service, however, leaves something to be desired. It is impossible to speak to a human being when you call. I have called with urgent issues, only to have to leave a message and not hear back. Dr. Marc is very understanding and accommodating. He helped lead me through positive coping strategies and helped me find a long term solution for my stress and anxiety. Dealing with chronic pain and anxiety has been a struggle, especially while living over seas. The clinic and staff have been very helpful with dealing with my unique temporary visit to FL for treatment. Working with the ketamine patches to help bring my pain levels lower and an added benefit of improving my anxiety. The clinic staff and nurse were amazing. Making me feel comfortable and answering all questions and worries along the way. The process helped bring my pain levels down to a more manageable level and bring a new level of normalcy to my everyday life. i had been getting ketamine treatments for about a year for chronic depression. previous treatments included a sensory deprivation during the treatment. At Actify i was hooked up to the IV then left in a bright poorly decorated room. it was very uncomfortable psychically. and i had to text a friend to come get me out of the room because i was hooked up. the staff never said anything and there was never any follow up. Ketamine is a great treatment but really needs to be administered in a more nurturing environment. read more
