I've actually been coming here for a few years, and today I went for the first time in months. I am…read moreso disappointed. It has really gone downhill. - First of all, normally Mondays are the best sale days, but they had almost nothing marked down. But, okay, whatever. - The selection has become even more dominated by crap like SHEIN. It's been there for a while, but I could also find good stuff still. Better brands, vintage 90s pieces.. but today I just saw more absolute garbage than ever. - The housewares pricing has gotten RIDICULOUS. Asking HIGH RETAIL for stuff. I was looking specifically for some brass candlesticks. $30 for the pair. I can truly buy them off Poshmark WITH SHIPPING and pay less than $30 for a pair. Even cheap, chintzy feeling stuff was at least $10 for a single item. Silverplate at more than full retail in rough condition. I mean, it's common for silverplate to be overpriced at 'antique stores', but I normally find fair prices at the thrift. But, apparently, not anymore. - They were SO understaffed. They had TWO registers open! I stood for over ten minutes trying to get someone's attention to look in the jewelry case, and then some entitled jerk cuts in front of me to get their attention first. She knew I was standing there. So rude. So, I guess it's time to divorce Thrift Giant and spend my time at other thrift stores. They're honestly going to hurt the whole eco-friendly system by pricing themselves out of sales. Why would I go buy it in person when I could buy it for LESS from Poshmark or other online place?

First time shopping at Goodwill and unfortunately, my last. 0/10…read more I visited this location for the first time on 8/13 around 3 PM and was helped by Christal #1433. Since there are no fitting rooms, I specifically asked how it would work if the clothes I purchased didn't fit. I was told I could bring them back within 7 days and exchange them. I returned 4 days later with about $60 worth of clothing. I asked the cashier (autter #561) about a refund even though I remembered being told it was an exchange policy. She confirmed that I couldn't receive a refund and would need to exchange the items. No problem. I started shopping around trying to find approximately $60 worth of merchandise. I found a TV for $15 and about $20 worth of dog toys. Since this was literally only my second time ever shopping at Goodwill, I had no idea how everything worked. Thankfully, another shopper was incredibly kind and helped explain things to me. She even suggested having an employee hold the TV at the front while I continued shopping. When I brought the TV up, I was then told that my exchange could ONLY be for clothing. I really wish someone had explained that from the beginning. I had just spent my time walking around the store looking for random merchandise trying to reach approximately $60 because I thought that's what I was supposed to do. At that point, I was frustrated and ready to leave everything behind. Thankfully, the manager stepped in and was extremely helpful. He explained that store credit was actually an option, something that hadn't been mentioned when I originally asked the cashier about my options. Had I known that from the beginning, I would've happily chosen store credit and avoided this entire situation. I patiently waited and ultimately received approximately $65 in store credit. On my way out, I happened to see the sweet woman who had taken the time to help me navigate my second ever Goodwill trip. I thanked her for being so kind to me and gave her the entire $65 store credit. I genuinely hope she finds something she loves with it. The manager and that wonderful customer were the positive parts of this experience. Unfortunately, receiving different information at practically every step made something that should've been incredibly simple unnecessarily frustrating and time-consuming. This was my first experience shopping at Goodwill, and I've realized it's simply not for me. I won't be returning.

Okay O-k OOOO TAY!!…read more This place is the truth! Story time: there is free boxing classes for women once a month in the SAME parking lot at hidden gym I leave after my very hard but fantastic class to find out I'm locked out of my very big and bulky mom van. No worries, call the husband. He's slow, I have 2 hours until he arrives with the spare key. I dash over to good will, pick up a few items I DONT need and as I'm watching the items someone is watching ME. She's eyeing me as I'm going from post to bin and then as I'm snatching the buy tag off of a $30 couch I will be buying asap. Ma'am, how can I help YOU? She walks over and says Hey random stranger, I see your having a ball here in this crusty dusty goodwill, why don't you take a gander up the street and around the corner to this place that's LIKE good will but better. Me thinking to my self, you giving me directions like I didn't just walk over here. Long story even longer, I end up buying the goodwill couch , she points me over to this store and I walk in and it's like the Coach of second hand stores! Remember I said I had 2 hours, well my very bougie attorney friend lives around the corner, she called during my initial " I'm locked out" and was already on her way and decided to pull up the moment I stepped into this glorious second hand store. I quickly survey the entire store in oh I'd see 3 mins flat and spot ANOTHER couch I could take my eyes on. I had already scanned all the other couches and the prices were $200-300. The couch tho in question.. THIRTYYYYY DOLLLLLARS. That's right $30! So I wait in the very long lined purchase the couch , hop in the car with my bougie friend while she's tapping her gums about legal jargon I could care less about and ahhh!! A sigh of relief. 2 couches $60 bucks No way to fit either Life is GOOD! The end!
