I am very very disappointed with their service. My family went Dec 19th (mid week) for the second time to get 3 packages that the Corporate Center couldn't find the week before. It took almost 4 hours for my wife, son and daughter to find their packages, and get this, they had to look for them on their own. The staff could not find the packages, nor did they have any record of them. After several hours of searching through unorganized piles in the back, my family did manage to find our packages. Others in line were not so lucky. The Corporate Center staff is fortunate that the line was comprised of polite Canadians, because it could have easily become and angry mob. I have told many people to stop using the UPS store and start using The Corporate Center, but I'm afraid I can no longer recommend their service in any way shape or form. It seems that just like the UPS store they have far exceeded their capacity. But seriously Corporate Center, if you are reading this, GET SOME SHELVES AND LEARN HOW TO SORT. It's not rocket science. Both my son and daughter said that given one or two overnight shifts, the two of them could have done a decent job of organizing the place. If you need a package between February and October, you'll probably be okay, but anywhere near Christmas, stay away. Sadly, this forces me back to the UPS store, who, while being slow, rude and disorganized, have only lost one package in 10 years - much better odds. And sadly, the other options in Ogdensburg, require a special customer number that cannot be entered into text-only name fields on most online merchant sites. Judging by the very negative comments from the people in line, I'd say this is the beginning of the end for the Corporate Center. You had your chance, and you blew it. read more

The first experience with them they couldnt find my parcels, second one they told me my parcel wasnt there on Wednesday when i called but they had received it Monday. I called the owner and expressed my concern. Instead of were sorry she told me she didnt want my business and dont come back, then she hung up on me. I was reasonably happy with "The Corporate Center" in Ogdensburg, NY, until yesterday... I have a regular day job in Ottawa, so I can go to Ogdensburg only on a Saturday, and then only once every 4-8 weeks. Four weeks ago, I went to The Corporate Center to pick up an audio speaker [subwoofer] for my car. Staff there were unable to find my package, so I was forced to returned without it. Once home, I gathered the tracking information proving that the package had been delivered to Ogdensburg, and I emailed this information to The Corporate Center. The following day, I received a reply saying that the package had been found. Yesterday (Saturday) I drove from Ottawa to Ogdensburg to pick up the once-lost speaker, plus several other packages that had arrived in the interim. When I arrived, the owner, Marlene Chapple, appeared flustered - perhaps overwhelmed by the volume of customers and their packages. Nevertheless, I was handed 8 packages fairly promptly. But wait a second, where among these 8 packages is the speaker? The speaker weighs 2kg (5lb) and none of the 8 packages had sufficient heft to have possibly been holding my speaker. I told the owner that the once-lost speaker was still missing. The owner disappeared into the warehouse and returned with a folder containing the hand-written entries corresponding to packages that The Corporate Center had received on my behalf [and beside each entry, a note indicating whether the package had been picked up by the customer]. The folder clearly indicated that I had already picked up the package, which was not true, of course. Strange. The owner then told me that no more time could be devoted to my case, because a queue of customers had developed during the previous 5 minutes. Thinking that my case would be alternated with arriving customers, I politely waited for staff to resume the search for my package. Staff took 1, 2, 3, and then 4 other customers without once coming back to me. When I saw that staff were about to take a 5th customer without assisting me, I finally spoke up for myself and I insisted - in front of all of the other customers - that someone should search for my speaker. Not surprisingly, everyone is annoyed. I'm dissatisfied with the service I'm receiving and staff are dissatisfied with the vocal customer. Nevertheless, they do begin the search in earnest. As I'm waiting, I begin to examine the packages that had been handed to me. Lo and behold, among the packages is an empty box that *should* have contained my speaker - a large rip in the box being the only testament to what may have happened to its contents. Who knows when, where, or how the speaker exited the box, but clearly staff should stop looking for the box, because I was holding it in my hands. I stopped one of the staff who was familiar with my case and showed her the box. "Here it is.", I said, putting my hand into the gaping rip in the box. "The speaker must have fallen out.", I said. "That has nothing to do with us.", she responded curtly. Dumbfounded by this ridiculous response, I wasn't sure what to say. Finally, I said "Don't you think that your co-workers should be told to stop searching for this box? " Eventually, the owner came by and examined the box. She had no explanation for why her records would show that I had already picked up the package in her hands. She said "You know, you are far too complicated for us to deal with. You send us too many packages and some [packages] you take away with you and some you don't. You can take your business elsewhere." "You send us too many packages..."? My god. Does Starbucks complain when you buy a lot of coffee? Does Tim Horton's complain when you buy a lot of doughnuts? Is The Corporate Center doing me a favour, or am I paying for their service? I think the latter - they were happy to charge me $27 on my way out. There are dozens of outfits offering better service than The Corporate Center. Costs may be slightly higher, but they have more convenient hours of operation [e.g. 9am-3pm on Saturday; 9am-12pm Saturday and Sunday] I'm moving to myusaddress.ca read more

Regardless of what is being negatively said against them, I have been very fortunate and lucky that the Corporate center has always provided friendly, efficient, and helpful service. mixed feelings I had great things to say about the Corporate center until my last visit on december 16. I understand that at this time of year (x-mas) the volume of parcels increases immensely, but this is a good way to prove yourself as a business. They did not do this at all. They could not find my parcels even after providing the date of arrival and the tracking number. After giving them a couple of hours I returned and the lady was very rude with me, blamming me for the fact that the sender only wrote my first name and not the last name on the label.WOW...(she could have appologize for the delay) Please take note.. Upon arrival to the corporate center to pick up your parcel have: - the tracking number ready on a piece of paper - the date the parcel arrived at the Corporate centre ****** - the sender - the amount of parcels you are expecting - make sure your first and last name are well written on the label or you may be subject to bad treatment GOOD LUCK Best Regards read more

I have been a customer of the Corporate Center since June 2010, initially choosing them based on a referral from a friend. They were (and still are) $2/package cheaper than most of the alternatives in town, which is part of the reason I've stuck with them over the years, despite constant nagging from other friends to switch. $2 doesn't sound like much, but multiple that by 100+ parcels and it starts to add up quick. That's more money in MY POCKET. In three years I've never had a lost package or any issue for that matter (no rude/nasty comments from staff like some have mentioned). I've had everything from small letters to oversized car parts & tires mailed there. With the exception of the busy Christmas period, they have always called me when a package arrives. That really comes in handy when you have that one package where the seller did not include a tracking number. Sure beats calling every day asking "is my package here yet"? It's a small gesture that is much appreciated. I only have two reasons why I can't make this a five-star review. Neither actually apply to me personally; but I'm trying to be unbiased and fair in my review. - Their hours. Many of my friends and colleagues work normal 9-5 jobs, so going down after work is not an option. And with busy weekends, the 2 hour window on Saturday morning often doesn't work either. My recommendation would be to have late hours one night a week (till 7 or 8pm), and maybe bump weekend hours from 2 to 4 year round. I have heard that they have a number you can call if you're not able to make it during business hours; but I've never heard of anyone using it so I can't comment on that. - Cash only policy. This one doesn't actually bother me at all as I always carry US cash, but being able to use credit/debit is much more convenient for most. My hunch is that the cash only is part of their competitor advantage and that if they ever bring in credit/debit payments, the cost per package will increase accordingly (likely to the same as the competitors). For me; the Corporate Center just WORKS and will continue to use their services until that changes. I also like that they are closer to the border...if I don't need to zip into town for food and/or gas, it is only seconds from the toll booth. read more

Really liked this place until they lost my package. I was given someone else's package which I immediately returned but they didn't have mine. I've provided them the tracking details three times now which show they received the package, and they called me when they received it, but they cannot locate it. They are still investigating (or so they claim), but I've yet to receive any apology for the inconvenience or an indication about when this will be resolved (or what compensation they will provide if they cannot find my package). read more

In 3 year of using The Corporate Center, they have never lost a package addressed to me nor have they ever failed to notify me when a package arrived. Their service may not be stellar during the Holiday season and their sorting method could use improvement but their attitude is superior to UPS, which is the other major Ogdensburg option. read more

I've used this warehouse multiple times and never had any issues. On one occasion, I had an emergency where I called them literally 10 minutes after they received the item. They dug it out of the dock and put it in the front office where it took me 5 minutes to pick it up and I was on my way. read more
