I could not be happier. I've ended up bringing my grandmother's needlepoint pillow that had missing stitches, two family quilts *loved* to death by generations, and an antique beaded purse that I found at a yard sale and needed a lot of help. I plan on giving the purse to my daughter to hopefully start a new family tradition. All were cleaned (they have a woman who cleans fragile antique textiles specially) and then beautifully repaired and restored. I shopped around at other rug cleaners and they're all in the same general price bracket. Russell's offered a 20% discount if I brought the rugs in instead of having them pick up. I reported to the employee on duty that dryer # 29 did not dry my clothes. The employee followed me to dryer #29 and touched the clothes and agreed they were not dry. I asked for a refund and I was told that I had to write my name and number and she would give it to the owner and the owner would contact me. After several weeks I still had not received a call from the owner therefore, I returned to Soap City and I spoke to the same employee ( I reminded her who I was) about the refund. I was told that the owner had taken my information " but she's really busy". I asked " should I hear from her soon"? She said "yes". It's 8 months later and I have not heard from the owner.
