Even after moving to Austin, I continue to make the drive back and forth to San Marcos just so my son can remain in her care. That's how much she means to us. Her presence, her heart, and her dedication are irreplaceable. From the very beginning, Dr. Fischer has made it her mission to care not only for my son but for me as a mother. That kind of care is rare. I'll never forget one visit when my son was still a baby--I was sitting in the room, completely overwhelmed and silently crying. When Dr. Fischer walked in and saw me, she didn't hesitate--she came over, gave me the warmest hug, and comforted me like she had known exactly what I was feeling. It was a moment of kindness I will never forget. She listens--truly listens. She validates my concerns, never makes me feel inadequate, and gives reassurance in the most compassionate way. There's no condescending advice or rushed appointments--just warmth, gentleness, and care. My son gravitates to her, and it's no surprise. She's so loving, patient, and thoughtful. She remembers the little things, the big things--everything. To this day, if she's not available, I will reschedule or skip the appointment altogether. That's how much we value her. And honestly, we plan to continue seeing her until we physically leave the state. No one else compares--she's set the bar so high that I'm not sure we'll ever find another provider quite like her. Plus their PA left only leaving Dr. Garcia and Dr. Momin in office a few days a week. This seemed to be fine until my daughter was sick while Dr. Garcia was out of town. It of course fell on a day Dr. Momin wasn't in either, which left the front desk to recommend us to an Urgent Care office. Of course, doctors deserve time away, but there should always be someone available to see a regular patient when sick. This is the whole point of having a pediatrician. When I voiced my displeasure with there not being a single doctor or PA available to see my daughter, without yelling or cursing might I add, I was later sent a letter of discharge. This came as a complete surprise, as I was never contacted by Dr Garcia as requested and as a paying patient I should be able to vocalize my concerns without fear of being retaliated against. I am grateful to be forced to find a pediatrician that will actually be able to see my daughters when they are sick during normal business hours, but am severely disappointed by how this situation was handled.

The waiting area is small with a few seats but the appointments are quick so you won't be waiting long. There is plenty of parking out front or even acorss the street along the sidewalk. My kids had their regular checks up and got their vaccines up to date. They also did a vision test. When we signed up for the new school year and needed a copy of their short records the staff was quick to respond. They also call the day before your appointment as a friendly reminder. I am happy we switched over to Dr.Garcia as our primary pediatrician and look forward to our visits.

So convenient, so much less hassle. Her bedside manner is so calming and attentive, exactly what we needed as parents of a newborn. She listens, she answers questions, she checks for understanding. All things that are so so important in a doctor! She is very knowledgeable and has quite a broad background as a pediatrician, so we know she has seen a lot, which we also find very reassuring. The direct primary care model for her practice is absolutely invaluable. We pay her the set monthly fee and in return we have access to her personally via call or text, we have long appointments with her that never feel rushed, and there is price transparency (I never have to worry about some bill showing up a month later from her or the insurance saying that we owe another $80 that no one ever discussed). This is the way of the future. We would highly recommend Dr. Webb to any parent looking for a doctor they can trust.

I cannot recommend Dr. Van highly enough. I've never felt more comfortable with medical care/advice for my two children than i did with her. High EQ, super high IQ + data driven, and just cares about the wellbeing of the kids she sees. Not going to lie, our first appointment was borderline intimidating -- Dr. Van can sometimes speak fast, and drops a lot of knowledge on you in a very short period of time. But, she is extremely thorough and her standard of care is top notch -- exactly what your children deserve to help them thrive! I now have an even greater appreciation for this as we moved and had to switch providers multiple times. Sadly, I have yet to find someone that I feel is a thorough and knowledgeable as Dr. Van.
