We absolutely LOVE Dr. Fischer. She has been my son's pediatrician since the day he was born, and now--four years later--we're still with her. Even after moving to Austin, I continue to make the drive back and forth to San Marcos just so my son can remain in her care. That's how much she means to us. Her presence, her heart, and her dedication are irreplaceable. From the very beginning, Dr. Fischer has made it her mission to care not only for my son but for me as a mother. That kind of care is rare. I'll never forget one visit when my son was still a baby--I was sitting in the room, completely overwhelmed and silently crying. When Dr. Fischer walked in and saw me, she didn't hesitate--she came over, gave me the warmest hug, and comforted me like she had known exactly what I was feeling. It was a moment of kindness I will never forget. She listens--truly listens. She validates my concerns, never makes me feel inadequate, and gives reassurance in the most compassionate way. There's no condescending advice or rushed appointments--just warmth, gentleness, and care. My son gravitates to her, and it's no surprise. She's so loving, patient, and thoughtful. She remembers the little things, the big things--everything. To this day, if she's not available, I will reschedule or skip the appointment altogether. That's how much we value her. I would rather drive 4 hours to Dallas to see my daughters previous lefeatricisn than go back to Dr. Miller and her staff. From backhanded comments from the Doctor. to the horrible nurse who IGNORED my requests to wait to administer vaccines till my son was actively breastfedding just to then be rushed out of the room by said nurse. I was also ignored by the doctor when I told her about what the nurse had done and was just brushed off by her saying "this is harder on you than it is him". Clearly patients care is not their number one priority. it seems they both need a refresher on bedside manner and medical consent. read more

We have been going to Corridor Primary Care Pediatrics for 15 years! Our children have always received thoughtful medical care from the providers and nursing staff. So many visits and a few late night calls...I couldn't even fathom a guess. Dr. Harrison has loved on my kids and not only cares for their physical health but also their mental and spiritual health. I like the doctors and nurse practitioners on the internal medicine side. I also really like the receptionist. But the support staff is very lackluster. Charts don't get updated efficiently, prescription authorizations are sluggish and the billing staff wait to the last minute to seek authorizations from insurance companies. These inefficiencies make the patient's life harder. Medical offices are businesses. Good businesses keep customers. Bad businesses lose them. Corridor has lost my business. read more

We've been going here since my toddler was born and have continued with our newborn. We absolutely love it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for pediatric care. We see Dr. Fisher but have also been to other physicians when need arose and every single one has been phenomenal. We also love nurse Linda who is so incredibly kind and good at her job. The only slight hiccup we have had was when I called in when my my daughter displayed symptoms of FPIES and the nurse I spoke with on the phone was incredibly dismissive saying FPIES was the new gluten intolerance. But when we actually came in to see Dr. fisher she was very supportive and recommended us to the specialist we requested. This was almost 2 years ago and no such incident has happened since. The front desk staff is really quick on the phone and patient at check in/out. Yes there is usually a bit of a wait but they also try their best to squeeze you in last minute if you have a big concern. read more

I left a very positive review months ago on google but I need to update because the situation went south. My daughter started with Dr Dupre as a NB. I think we went two visits before she started expressing concerns about my daughters weight. She asked me to bring in a stool sample, which I did, and she said she discovered a small trace of blood, leading her to believe she has a milk allergy. We began seeing her every two weeks for weight check-ups and every once in a while I would have to bring in another stool sample. Dr. Dupre had us switch her formulas ELEVEN times. We went through almost every similac formula and an enfamil formula before settling on similac alimentum. I should note, Dr. Dupre also had her on reflux meds but I quickly took her off after reading the dangers of giving reflux meds to young babies and I truly did not feel she had a reflux problem. At every visit, although I would tell Dr Dupre that she did not have a reflux issue, she would insist I keep giving her the meds (I ignored this.) My daughter was drinking alimentum fine for about two weeks and then all of a sudden she completely stopped eating. I was STRESSED. I was so concerned about her weight gain and then with her refusing bottles on top of it, I was worried she would start losing. I did some research and decided to switch her to alimentum RTF because other moms were saying their babies had issues with the corn that was in the alimentum powder. I made an extra appointment with Dr. Dupre and let her know i switched her to alimentum RTF. She said this was fine and suggested I start giving her rice cereal too, because, you guessed it, she was still concerned about her weight (by now she was 4 months.) My daughter took to the alimentum RTF wonderfully. I gave her rice cereal twice before noticing it contains soy, which is not good because she apparently has a milk allergy. I went in for our next 2 week visit feeling more confident than ever because not only was my daughter eating more but she was also gaining weight (I knew this because I was excessively checking her weight gain at this point.) At this visit, I bring in another stool sample, which Dr. Dupre checks and says AGAIN that there is still blood in it. I asked if this could be due to the soy in the rice cereal and she said no. She then says she wants to switch her to a more hypoallergenic formula because her weight gain was "MEH." (Her exact word.) I left the office that day in tears feeling defeated and honestly just frustrated. I immediately decided to take my daughter elsewhere for a second opinion. One visit with another doctor, and they see nothing wrong with her. Her new pedi says shes small but still on track for her own growth. She is hitting all of her milestones. He also said babies can have traces of blood in their stool for many reasons, and it doesn't immediately mean a milk allergy. He isn't even convinced she needs to be on alimentum RTF but he said since they have switched her so many times he'd leave it alone. He also said having people come in every two weeks for weight checks in excessive and counterproductive. It just adds stress (which i cant say he is 100% correct.) During this time, we never discussed my daughters milestones. Even at her regular check ups. My daughter was born with a slight heart murmur and I didn't even know it had closed until I visited the new pedi because the only thing Dr. Dupre ever wanted to discuss was her weight gain. I really trusted this doctor so it makes me sad to have to leave this review, but I feel like my original google review was misleading. If you made it this far, thanks for reading! read more

Just get the opportunity to review again! I have been bringing my daughter here since she was a newborn. She is now 7... I won't take her to another pediatrician office because they provide excellent care to her here. Dr. Grady is her primary dr, but on the few occasions where he has been unavailable, the other dr's there have made a lasting impression on me and provided quality medical care. I highly recommend this practice to friends and family! read more

Having moved to the area recently we needed a new pediatrician and a few people recommended we start going here. I wish I hadn't listened. I've never been so irritated at the way I've been treated at a local medical practice. We've waited in the lobby forever. We've been treated very rudely by the receptionist (Put your phone down for 5 seconds and at least act like you care. Geeez). We've been turned away for being 12 minutes late (Traffic accident on Wonder World Drive caused the issue and affected everyone going there) what's even dumber about that was we had to reschedule out months and months in advance. I also got really irritated by the amount of paperwork I had to fill out; but the kicker is after filling it all out I got called 2 times to ask simple things that were on the forms. I generally don't like using yelp, Google, blogs, etc.. to bash places, but I was just so stinking annoyed at this place I want other people to know that they truly don't care about you as a personal customer as much as a great way to pay for that SLK 500 or that Volt plugged in in the parking lot. The only reason this isn't a 1 star review is the building they have is very "fun" for kids and my 2 year old likes it. You know what, I'm changing it back to 1, I think this is the only place I've ever visited that the staff made my little 2 year old cry. She was so excited to go see the doctor and didn't understand why she couldn't because some college student rammed her Accord into a post on the way there. We were even told in a completely empty reception area that the doctor's next appointment was an hour and forty-five minutes out, God forbid we cut in the docs almighty lunch. The other offices we have visited before moving here have been nothing but positive experiences. read more

The doctors here are usually very kind and helpful but once you are called back the wait time is ALWAYS over 30 minutes for the doctor to actually come in which always leaves me with a cranky toddler to entertain in a tiny room. Very frustrating read more

The doctors and nurse staff are wonderful. We've been coming here for almost 10 years. Lately there's a new lady who answers the phone and is completely rude, she doesn't introduce herself and talks in a hurry that she forgets the information you just gave her, she's the reason for the three stars. Started seeing Dr Hartman back in June and we absolutely love her!! She's on maternity leave now and we had to see Dr Black for our 4 month vaccines. I have been going to this doctor's office for the past 13 years ever since my son was born. My son tends to get extremely high fevers and they have always fit us in even at their busiest. I understand waiting for a doctor is frustrating, but you never know what exactly is going on. The doctor may need another doctors opinion or assistance in a situation. In 2001 my son was very sick and they had to admit him immediately to the hospital. Every doctor was willing to assist me and make us comfortable as we had to admit my son in to the hospital for an allergic reaction and a fever of 105. So I will never complain about waiting because the doctor could be saving your child's life!! I will always be grateful!! Thank You CPC!! read more

I had been looking for a pediatrician for a while since moving here, i had to take my two children in for their yearly check ups. The staff was amazing, the facility was very clean and nice. Specifically Dr. Black's nurse, she was amazing, she had to give my daugter 7 shots to be caught up and she was very fast and easy to get it over with. Dr. Black was awesome too, she was in no rush with me and my kids, answered any questions I had. Im so happy to have found Corridor Primary Care and Dr. Black! read more

I feel bad having to update my review with a lesser rating, but I'm irritated with Corridor. I recently made an appointment for my daughter's well-check after having to reschedule due to family illness. When I rescheduled, the receptionist was super rude and short. When I rescheduled the appointment, I told the receptionist "any day but Wednesday, preferably later in the week", because I had to meet contractors that Wednesday and I didn't know how long it would take. The receptionist told me Thursday afternoon was available, so I took it. Wednesday rolled around and at the end of the day, I noticed that I hadn't received a reminder call/text for my Thursday appointment. Apparently, the call went straight to voicemail, reminding me of my Wednesday appointment. Thursday morning, I called, confused, telling them that I hadn't made an appointment for Wednesday, as I told them that was the one day I *couldn't* make it and had been confirmed for a Thursday appointment. The receptionist (who I'm guessing was from a separate office, as she noted that the appointment was for the SM location) was super rude and told me I was a no call/no show. I again went over EXACTLY what I had been told when I made the appointment and that it must have been entered incorrectly, but I wasn't going to accept being counted as a no call/no show for an appointment that was entered incorrectly - I had scheduled my Thursday around that one appointment the second I had made it, so nothing could come up. The receptionist ended up giving me the EXACT appointment on Thursday I had made the week before. When I went in to the office, the receptionist told me I had been a no call/ no show and tried to explain their policy. I got irritated because I thought this had been covered, so I told her about how there is no way I made the appointment for Wednesday and whoever handled it entered it wrong, as I had been confirmed for the exact same Thursday appointment I was now at. She signed me in, but I don't want this on my record there. I love the receptionists at the SM locations in person, but I've had a few issues with the receptionists at whatever office that are making the appointments. read more

I moved to San Marcos in 2009 and have been bringing my son here since then. This place is great and does get busy because it's very popular. I love the staff here and my son always gets excited to get his token for the prize machines. We recently had our insurance canceled and the Dr does everything possible to keep everything affordable. I would recommend this place to anyone with children. Corridor Pediatric is the best hands down. read more

We've been patients at this practice for 6 years and have always been pleased. Dr Flinn is my kids' pediatrician and we adore her. She is extremely attentive and thorough when it comes to making sure you understand a diagnosis or medication, which is good because a mom with a sick kid isn't really the most lucid, rational person. What I have always loved most about this practice is that they can almost always fit me in same-day when an ear infection or something like it pops up. We don't always get to see Dr Flinn, but it's nice to be able to get into the office on nearly a moment's notice. The staff is great and the exam rooms are fun and kid-friendly. read more

First off, the staff is incredibly condescending. I am a single mother of a two year that works shift hours and they tried making me feel bad for not accommodating their schedule when they wanted to run unnecessary blood tests. I cooperated with them went to THREE facilities in one day, had blood drawn two times out of his right arm, two times out of his left once from each hand and twice from his finger (excessive much?). Then they wanted to do more testing even though those tests that we spent six hours conducting in total came back normal. I had two doctors corner me in a room, making accusations that needless to say bore no merit and were not forth coming with information as far as what testing needed to be done and why. I then called to get a copy of my son's records and was never sent the information on that particular doctor's visit nor any other immunization records. This is not the first time an incident like mine has occurred and I think if you are to attend this facility, do not go alone and DOCUMENT EVERYTHING because they have made slandering remarks about those who go there even getting CPS involved which came out unfounded (not in my case but another). This all happened recently and a doctor at CTMC even told me that they are incompetent and down right unprofessional. Even though they apologized, I WILL NEVER TAKE MY SON BACK THERE ever again. read more

My daughter has been a patient here since she was newborn. She primarily sees Dr. Grady, whose been taking care of all of her needs since her birth. On the few occasions when he wasn't available, she'd seen Dr. Flinn and Dr. Deschner. She was still quite small when she saw Dr. Flinn, but to ME, she was amazing. The last time I took her in, she was miserable with a cold and ear infection, but she absolutely lit up when Dr. Deschner walked into the room and was eager to go with her. My daughter is usually pretty shy with strangers, but she took to Dr. Deschner right away, which made me happy. It felt good seeing my daughter smile and laugh with a doctor, rather than be afraid or get fussy. The front desk staff is very polite and accommodating when I need to get her in ASAP, and the fact that they have a clinic located in Kyle is even better, since that's where we reside. The convenience along with the great care have me referring anyone I know with children to see this practice! read more
