Management is so unprofessional. The ED pretty much just focuses on how many people are on the schedule and penny pinching. Everyday Monday thru Friday he is out the door 4 o'clock sharp. When I was hired I had to ask for everything I should've been handed when hired. Like an employee handbook ( I never received) and insurance. When I asked for these items , I was given attitude from the Nurse Ms. Brown and Essi. The reason why I'm no longer working here is because of the rude and unprofessional nurse Brown. She changed all of the care staff work schedule without talking with care staff and when I told her I couldn't work the days, she told me I'm free to find employment elsewhere. So rude and unprofessional. When I requested one of the days that she changed my work days to, she said I did a no call no show even though requested off in the system used for time-off. After Even after trying to talk to her she walked off after asking me, "Who told me I could be off? No wonder they can't keep staff. They have an extremely high turnover and are always hiring. The place appears to be nice with redoing the halls but the halls in the back or roach infested. I've witnessed roaches in the resident's bed. I wouldn't' recommended this place for employment or for family.

When you call the front desk to speak to your loved one they have to transfer you to memory care either you get a recording or they tell you they have to call you back and you never get a call back. When I visited my loved one I found the night staff sleeping in the aroma therapy room. Another resident asked me to help her put on her pajamas and I witnessed another resident fall with no one around to help her . NO-ONE! The thievery is heavy. You will experience missing items and during an untimely demise the nursing staff will provide you with medical misinformation that is convenient for them and they do not adhere to proper protocols . Not contacted by the POA for things they should. And don't think you will get any restitution from the corporate staff . I made several calls to the corporate office. Everyone is on voicemail and you will not get a call back. This place is a black hole. Non communicative, they lock your loved ones up and don't let you talk to them , and lie about their medical situation. If your family member passes away there anything valuable will be taken by the staff. My loved one was found stripped of her jewelry and in a gown (that wasn't hers) on the floor . They have no equipment if someone goes into cardiac arrest. They didn't even call the coroners office and lie about the cause of death. Remove your loved one from this facility because no one cares . If they do care it will be hard to find them. If you want to never ever hear from your loved one again this is the place for them. If you want your loved one to be stripped of everything they own , this is the place for them. If your family members have to show up at the door of the Social and demand to see their loved one like we did then this is the experience you will have. If you want a company that corporately says they care but remains unresponsive to calls and refuses to call you back, then you have found a great home for your Loved One! I pray that your family members find better care in the winter of their lifetimes. We were very active in our loved ones care but found that the Social wasn't . RIP The Social, cause you can't run a business like this and you know you aren't going to get a lot of feedback from your residents because the only way out is the inevitable.

My father, afflicted with Parkinson's Disease, needed a home where he would be cared for, even as his condition rapidly declined, and we were so blessed to find this amazing facility. Actually, a better term for it is "family." The staff truly love this place and you see it every day in how they care for the residents, even when the residents are having a bad day and aren't able to return the love. My father has passed on but I will be staying involved with Woodland Ridge as a supporter and volunteer, hopefully for many years to come. If you are looking for a home for someone you love, I would strongly recommend that you consider Woodland Ridge.

She later came down and seemed put out!!!!Her Chanel body lotion disappeared as did all of her perfumes. Please don't put your family in memory care. Heartis continues to go downhill with lots of turnover of the help.A close friend of mine is having a horrific experience with her mom in memory care. Now she has to move her to another facility. Heartis adds stress to an already stressful situation.

Like many others, I am moving parents after 7 months because of safety issues and general lack of trust in management. Just a few examples...consistently broken elevators, garbage piled up in garbage rooms, no clearly communicated plan for fire safety (fire drills are scary in a high rise when residents don't know they are coming or what to do). Having had previous experience with care facilities, I would say that communication with residents goes a LONG way in easing their anxiety and creating a sense of community. We have not received a single communication since we arrived. As we transition from independent to assisted living, it's more important than ever to trust the people that surround my parents and I simply don't have that confidence.
