They resell carpets from Shaw and dealing with a warranty claim is more than difficult! The story- I tested the sample for bleach resistance. About 2 yrs after installation, I had to add bleach to my cleaning water. The carpet lost color. Meh, OK. The carpet was matted and not cleanable by 5 yrs in on a 10 yr warranty. I pulled the carpet out and put in hardwood. The store owner hemmed and hawed. Somehow it was MY fault and they're not going to honor any warranty issues. I will go to Echo Flooring next time. The buyer there says that dealing direct with Shaw, they have had fantastic warranty service. Buying through Carpet One, you get nada.

Bill at Winner Carpet One pointed us in the direction of something nice and affordable. I removed all the old carpet and padding myself, scheduled installation and it was flawless. Installers were efficient and completed the job without any issues. Was not expecting the offer of taking all the old carpet and padding since I had removed it, but they offered and took it all. Couldn't be happier with the new look of the room and the comfort the new carpet is providing.

Unfortunately, the second time that we contacted them to do some tile work the service was not good. I visited the store at the end of December to pick out some tile for our kitchen, hallway and bathroom area. They set up an appointment to have someone come look at the area that we wanted tile installed. They came and did some measurements. I had not heard from them after that, so I called to follow up. They stated that the person who would be installing the tile needed to come up and do some more measurements. I said Fine. The person came, did some more measurements and before he left, he said that someone would be in touch when they have the time which I though was weird. We dropped off the tile samples a couple weeks later and the person who was supposed to give a quote stated that she was behind and would hopefully have an estimate on Friday or Saturday. This was in February. I waited a few more days and called again. The person who answered the phone stated that he had to follow up with the person who was working on the estimate. I asked if he could let me know by the end of the week if they are able to do the job. Even if they couldn't please still let me know. Well, a few more weeks went by and no one called and no estimate was sent. I would have had more respect for this company if they would have just called and said they were not able to do the job. Considering we spent a lot of money using them the first time when they installed the Wood Floors and carpeting, I really think it was rude for them not to get back to me. I understand it was a smaller job, but the owner Mary said it would not be a problem if we waited to do the tile. Very disappointed. This is not a good business practice and eventually it will hurt them. Again, very disappointed. Definitely look at other companies to have flooring done. We did and found some great companies to do the work who quoted us a cheaper price for the same tile.

They way they do billing is so confusing, no transparency in price or billing. Nice people, just only for clients who don't care what things cost.
