It's easy to see that she loves what she does and cares for others tremendously. We have also started therapy at Lifespan with Amber Pierce, APCC and again, my son enjoys his weekly appts. Although, mental health and being observed and assesed can be uncomfortable, self knowledge from the help of professionals that care, is the best way to help yourself be your best self. Their billing department Billed my insurance in full for 8 months of services but also billed my credit card for the full amount. I have been calling them for 5 months to address the issue with no progress. They acknowledge they have overcharged but since the billing department is in another country they cannot contact the people who can fix it and refuse to give me a contact number so I can reach out to the appropriate folks in the corporate office. Their lack of response is disrespectful and after looking at many websites it turns out that I am not the only one experiencing this issue. Stay away from Thriveworks and find a more professional organization. Edit to Respond to Thriveworks- I have spent the last 5 months messaging Thriveworks Support and Billing. You always say you will help but you never do anything. Your entire Support/Billing system is a scam. Its run out of another country and no one there has any power to do anything. You are Thieves!

Many of them have never worked with children before in any meaningful way. We've had people show up whose background seemed completely unrelated, like DoorDash drivers or waitresses, with no proper training or understanding of what this work actually requires. The director is completely dismissive to parent input. It doesn't matter how many times you raise concerns. You are ignored, and brushed off. There is no sense of partnership or care. The girl that handles scheduling is inconsiderate and unprofessional. Because of this, there is absolutely no progress. How could there be? There is zero consistency, zero experience, and zero accountability. On top of that, the constant call-outs and last-minute cancellations are out of control. You cannot rely on them at all. Sessions are missed, schedules are a mess, and you're left scrambling. This company clearly prioritizes filling shifts over actually helping children. It's beyond frustrating, and honestly, unacceptable. Overall this agency lacks empathy and is the complete opposite of what they market themselves to be.

From the warm and welcoming receptionist, Cat, to my daughter's wonderful RBTs, Mariah and Ina, and her sweet and amazing BCBA, Merrin--everyone is so friendly and caring. Erin, another program director and BCBA, is a gem too. Even the substitutes have been great. We feel so supported here, & I'm beyond grateful for the level of care and attention they give. Anytime we have a concern about my daughter, they're quick to help with ideas, support, & anything we need. They even host a monthly Night Out for kids so parents can have a break, which is amazing! I'm really blown away by how special this place is and how much it means to our family. I feel like my daughter is in the best hands when I drop her off & my only wish is that we found this place sooner.
