Dr. Brown is so nice and caring. He saved my husband's toe and foot. We're very thankful for this.

The front office receptionist has a very confrontational, offensive, and condescending tone. I won't go into the details of what all happened but after giving the whole ordeal much thought I've decided it's her personality. She later tried to be nice to us saying she had done that job for many years and could see when someone is having "financial issues". So if you can overlook the front office person, you'll be treated by a wonderful Dr and his assistant. However $85 (even though I had a primary secondary and third insurance ... not Medicaid), for a cotton pad taped to the foot was a little high. I feel if I had presented an air of having more money, a more permanent fix might have been administered.

He gave me shots in each foot. Set me up with insoles for my shoes. I just recently had to go back for the same pain. Great care was given. I would recommend Dr Bruton to anyone with foot pain.

Apparently she went and told Bruton and here he came talking as soon as he came in the door all about feet and what was wrong with my feet and as quick as he came in he exited and I stated "I have this toe that" and he cut me off saying I got that covered at which time a person came in and cut and ground my toenails in about a minute. He did address 1 of 3 things I went to him for which was the burning in my toes he diagnosed as Neuropathy (which he prescribe a medicine that made me drowsy for 2 days, only took one dose and quit taking that crap) but he never address anything about my ingrown toenail or spot on the bottom of my foot which was the reason of going to this guy. Apparently he or his staff think your time is not as valuable as theirs or they over book appointments, either way it goes to show they have no respect for the patient. Cancelled follow appointment with him. I WOULD NOT EVER GO BACK TO THIS GUY OR RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE.

I held high hopes that a doctor from Abilene seeing patients in Brownwood would be the guy for me…read more Let me explain, a different podiatrist in Brownwood removed one ingrown toenail at the end of Feb and another at the beginning of March, both were botched.... My toes are worse now than before. I am in pain. So I found this place and made an appointment for 11:30, we arrived at 11:00, did all our paperwork, and we're ready for our appointment. Unfortunately the doctor was not. At 12:30 we still hadn't been seen and the doctor was in with another patient. My husband said he heard one nurse put 2 others in front of us. I guess our time isn't as valuable as others. So, he requested a refund of the copay, cancelled our appointment, and we left. Unless you enjoy being pushed to the back of the line, I'd look elsewhere for help.
