He takes just as good of care with his boat as he does with his clients, and is super accommodating. *The boat was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Had a microwave and stove! Lots of space on the table and seating around it. *Location of the boat was VERY CONVENIENT!! Had a parking lot with lots of space and the marina also had ice (great when you have a cooler/in need of ice for drinks). TIP: Captain Steve was really kind in offering to help us with our cooler, and offered to bring a cart/wagon to put the cooler on to make it easier to bring on the walk to where the boat is docked. *Captain Steve: Not only was he informative about the areas, but he was also a pleasure to have a conversation with. My friends and I had a fantastic experience and enjoyed our time sailing and relaxing , and will definitely sail with captain Steve again this summer!

Regardless of catching keepers, we were reeling them in all day long. we went from 7:30am to 2:30pm and between the 4 of us we hooked about 40 fish. Although we only had one keeper, it may have to do with the fact that the limit was raised to 18". These guys stick to the rules and don't let anyone keep shorts. Overall fantastic crew and boat, great trip! Will be going again very soon!

The cruise itself was very informative about Lake Hopatcong, and the scenery was amazing even though it was cloudy, but you could still see all the beautiful houses that surround Lake. We decided to visit New Hope on a whim during a beautiful May weekend. We've always known that…read morethere's a charm to this town and it really wasn't too far from where we are, so it was an easy afternoon trip for us. The one thing we knew about New Hope is their train. My fiancée enjoys these trains from growing up, so this was something up her and her brother's alley for the day. We were a little lucky in some ways that the crowds weren't as large when we took the afternoon train. I guess there was a parade going on during the day that suppressed the train crowds. But it wasn't too bad. We just took the standard 45 minute train ride. It doesn't go deep outside New Hope, but it's a nice and serene ride of sorts. Nothing too crazy or special. Yes, it's slightly overpriced, but there's still a little charm to being on this old school train. Note that we didn't bother getting any food or drinks, so I can't review that part.
