Came here with my coworker last night and asked for gel no chip. They didn't have the first two color choices I asked for so I settled for a Christmasy sparkle that was shown to me. Firstly, the process was so rushed. I think it took him maybe 15 minutes to finish about 4 layers. The job he did was HORRIBLE. Lumpy and uneven on my right hand and 2 fingers on my right. When I asked to redo them he seemed frustrated. He quickly sanded them down and then a lady came took over and asked me what was wrong. I told her they're lumpy and he didn't file them hardly at all. She started to fix it but during the process kept tossing my hand back to me. And the job STILL is imperfect. She tried to say it was because I choose glitter. This isn't my first no chip manicure, I've had glitter done perfectly on long and short nails. I don't think he took his time. He was using a gel lamp that said Peter on it, so avoid him at all costs. It's the holiday season and I still tipped but if it was any other time of year, I wouldn't have.
So... while they did a pretty good job on my nails... the salon itself was extremely dirty and the pedicure chairs looked like they had never been cleaned before. I got my nails done just yesterday, and my ring finger is already red, swollen, and painful with what looks like puss coming out of it (like it's infected...) I seriously seriously do not recommend this salon... I came here solely based off of good yelp reviews and was sadly mistaken.
First of all- I am extremely picky when it comes to nail salons. I loved how when I walked in they asked if I could wash my hands before picking a color... because I don't know where people's hands have been and the extra step is a tiny detail but one that protects the customers! Everyone here is so kind and they work hard to make sure you feel comfortable. Tbh if you come here and say the customer service or cleanliness is not top notch, you're probably leaving negative reviews hoping to get free services. Nails look gorgeous, the tech took her time, was gentle with my nails, and did EXACTLY what I asked for no questions asked. The place is very clean, and more importantly it is sanitized. I think some people don't understand the difference between dust and germs and it shows. Anyway- If you are hyper critical of your nails and are a perfectionist like I am you definitely need to give this place some love. You are in good hands!
They did a really good job on my nails, I love the shape, length and color of them, but they charged WAY TOO much on these. I paid $82 for these nails (without tip) when I have gotten these exact same nails at my other salon for about $65-$70. When they told me $82, by heart about jumped out of my chest!
I've been coming to see Jesse for a few months now for my nails, and every single set I get from her is PERFECTION. She knows exactly how I like the length, shape, thickness, color, etc. She is so good at shaping nails, especially with the almond shape. I just walk in, pick a color, and sit back and relax while she does the rest. I don't even have to tell her anything because she already knows what to do. Her energy is so positive everytime I see her, and I look forward to our conversations when I get my nails done. She really is an asset to this place because she brings such a positive attitude to work. She genuinely cares about me and how I'm doing, and I love that about her. I've gotten so picky with who does my nails, and now I won't see anyone else but her! She's AMAZING!!
Honestly a pleasant experience! This was my first time at Cosmo Nails and I loved my experience. I came in for a full set of Nexgen dip nails ($40) and a classic pedicure ($35), and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted and helped by Anna. She helped me select my colors and did my pedicure, while making an enjoyable conversation. Very kind woman! When I came over to do my nails, the woman doing them (whose name I unfortunately did not catch) was also very kind and efficient. Though she was quick, she was nonetheless diligent and paid close attention to detail. I loved their kindness and efficiency at this shop and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Can't wait for my next visit!
Mimi always does my nails. I think everyone in there knows Mimi does my nails, but I can't help but request her because she is amazing (truly they all are). Mimi does special occasion nails and I had to share these Halloween nails she did on me. The newest set of nails are for our family cruis Also I've attached all the nails Mimi has done for me :), Mimi I love you so much! I can't believe how amazing these are. You hand painted these bad boys too . Ugh now everyone is gonna come to you. Just know she was mine first. Respect
I got my eyebrows microbladed by Lynn and she did an amazing job! She really takes the time to make sure the eyebrows are measured out to fit your face shape and eye shape. She asks how you would like your eyebrows shaped in the beginning so she has a good idea of what you are looking for. Her attention to detail is amazing. After penciling in the eyebrows, she asks and makes sure you like the shape of the eyebrows. She also makes sure that the eyebrows are nice and numbed so that there is hardly any pain. After you finish your first round, she gives you some ointment to help with the healing and to make sure that your eyebrows don't scab over. Throughout the healing process she was texting to make sure that it was healing correctly and making sure I still liked the eyebrows. She scheduled my touch up appointment and now my eyebrows are perfect! Disclaimer: the first round, with scabbing the eyebrows may lose some pigment so it is so important to make sure that you go to the touch up appointment. Lynn did such an amazing job! I am so happy with my eyebrows. Also, she does an amazing job on nails! I asked for mermaid nails and boy did she deliver. I absolutely love them!!
My favorite place to get my nails done. It's really hard to find a good nail place that is consistent. I have never found a salon I really loved to go to and that wasn't a different experience every time I come in. Cosmo Nails is the first place I really enjoyed going to and look forward too. I've been coming here since June 2021 and I haven't stopped or even thought about changing my salon. They have a variety of colors and the techs listen to you and make sure you're not in pain and that you are happy with your nails. I always coming out feeling beautiful and cared for!

Walked in with a friend on a Wednesday night in May after reading all the great reviews. What is everyone raving about? Beware of bad service. Rudest nail tech I've ever had. $36 for Shellac or Nexgen manicure $51 for specialty nails like the blue watercolor ombre one in a photo another yelper uploaded We never had Nexgen/powder/dip manicure before. Before we even chose our nail color, they started removing our existing nail polish. They started on the Nexgen powder dip nail process right after that. No hand soak, no cuticle care. I was so confused. I came here to get my cuticles looking great! They asked me THREE TIMES, "do you want tips?" They were completely judgmental of my nails because they didn't like the shape of them. Take a look at the photo of my nails. Are they that short and terrible? I never had nail techs look at my nails with such disdain. I think asking one time is enough. Stop trying to make me pay extra for something I will never get. My friend got a male tech and I had Jieanin. She pointed out that two of my nails that would be "very difficult" to get a good shape. She started buffing away at my bare nails with her handpiece and went back and forth with FULL FORCE on my thumbnail. I recoiled my hand back a few times and she did not acknowledge that she was making me uncomfortable. Both of our nail techs got up as soon as they finished our manicures abruptly and told us, "dry your nails for 3 minutes." Meanwhile, another customer walked in and they fawned over her and asked if she needed a drink. They never offered us water.. Before we left, I asked my tech why she did not push back or trim my cuticles before she started. "That's just how it is. Even if you go anywhere else and get Nexgen, they don't trim your cuticles. You have to let me know before." What kind of explanation is that? She knew it was our first time getting Nexgen, but she did not ask how we wanted our cuticles maintained. The end result was not bad minus the cuticle situation. After all the fuss the tech made about my nail shape, she filed my index finger nails slanted. The whole experience was very rushed and I thought about that rude nail tech every time I looked at my nails and cuticles. Don't come here unless you are going to spend a lot of money because a $36 manicure is not worth it at all here. Never coming back here. read more

A little pricey my nails look amazing!!! I've gotten so many compliments and I'm obsessed with them! The place itself is beautiful and clean! Workers are really friendly and make sure that you feel really comfortable, unlike a lot of other places I've been to! They're super accommodating as I was 30 minutes late to my appointment, but they still took me in and was super sweet! Tons of different styles and colors to pick from and very up to date with styles! 10/10 recommend! read more

So, I tried cosmo nails after being mistreated at Onyx. Let's just say this didn't go well. What I liked: they made you wash your hands prior to service, the staff was nice & it was a good location. What went wrong: no pricing menu so, I was charged 50 for dip (please see my picture below)& the main issue my nail broke. I came back at 4:45 to get it fixed since it's a bad break & the guy told me 30mins then 45 mins no wait then an hour. I'm so disappointed & to top it off no manicure was done! I want to give them another shot but this 1st impression isn't helping me return. Dang it I wanted this one to work out read more

Holly did an AMAZING job!! I had a wedding that I was in coming up & I showed her a photo from pinterest & she was able to do it perfectly. Took the time to make sure she used the exact nude I was looking for & made sure the shape was perfect before I left. She was also super nice & I cannot recommend enough!! Cosmo Nails in Flower Mound is a fabulous place to come for a Manicure and pedicure. It's very clean and all the techs definitely know what they're doing sit back and relax in the massage chairs as they give you a foot massage and pedicure. read more

Disappointed with the gel manicure I got here. I've had gel manicures done at different places for years but this is the first time that gel lasted only for 3 days! They are already getting chipped. The guy that did my nails was nice and seemed to know what he was doing but I've never had gel manicure that only lasted a few days. I will not be back to this place. read more

Pretty disappointed . Had my toes painted with gel and after a week it is already chipped off. When I went in I got my nails on my fingers soaked off and than acrylic with gel polish overlaid because they didn't have colored acrylic not only was I overcharged but now the end is chipping off. I don't have time before my trip to go get them fixed but I paid $78 for my toes and fingers to look like the picture below. I won't be back and I wish I would have just went to my normal place. I could have gotten my polish change and fingers done for about $30 less. read more

The owner Lynn is my nail Goddess. When I come in she challenges me to try something I wouldn't normally try and it always turns out AMAZING! I trust her skill and expertise to have me on trend and current. I'm a high school English teacher and I use my hands a lot! I've yet to break a nail (even though they are extremely long). That attest to her abilities and talent alone, not to mention the color choice. I've never been disappointed yet. My 70 year old mother also patronizes the establishment as well as my daughter who is a college freshman. So they truly have something for EVERYONE! As a Flower Mound native and believer in "you get what you pay for" Cosmo nails is HANDS down the best in town. Don't waste your time going anywhere else. And while you're there ask for something bubbly to drink. Presecco after a hard day, and pedicure can change your life. The ambiance is amazing and the service is absolutely superb! Don't just take my word for it, see for yourself. Ask for the no-break nail specialist. LYNN! I loveeeeee coming here with my friends or with my mom, it is a wonderful place that i've been coming to for a couple of years now. I get nexegen nails every time and they do a wonderful job with my nails. My most recent nails I did nexegen nails with a design on one nail for each hand. I did love the job they did on the nails but the only thing i would critique would be the fact that design did chip a little on both nails even after i went in and fixed it. My honest review: This was my first time here and I strongly believe in second chances so that is the only reason I did not give this place 1 star instead of 2. I usually go to Grand Lux nail salon but I wanted to try something new today, I was also with my mom and grandma. I went in looking to do a marble design with a few different blueish grey colors and a white nail with some silver bands on it. This is not at all what I got. They had some beautiful marble nail designs on the front counter for display which made me want to get the marble. The lady that was doing my nails did a great job shaping them at first, but they are all uneven on the end of the nails and slanted, not straight at all. When it came to the marble part, another lady came over to do it and BUTCHERED the design. She seemed like she was in a big hurry as she did them very fast and quickly got up and walked away. She also said that they could not do the silver bands but also did not offer any alternative to them either. I was very disappointed with my first visit here and do not know if I will be returning. I included some pictures of what I expected versus what I got. You can see just how different the two pictures are and why I am so mad about how they turned out. Update: I received a message from the owner telling me that I could come in and get my nails fixed for free so that is what I did. I hated the blue colors that I got so I asked if I could just switch to pinks since that is what I am comfortable with and she said they would have to charge me for a new set, but they could give me 20% off. I was kind of caught off guard by this, but Lynn and the other guy that did them did such a good job that I am not even mad about paying for them. The marble looks so much better and she even did the stripes on the other white nails, but we agreed black looked best. I am changing my review to 4 stars, since they did such a great job of fixing them and being so kind about everything. I will be returning and making my appointments with Lynn from now on. read more

Loved! Loved! Loved this place. My friend referred me to Lynn and she is amazing. Great service and awesome job on nails. If you live in the Fort Worth area it is definitely worth the drive. NASTY, FILTHY & DISGUSTING! Walked in, was asked to go wash my hands after me telling them what I was looking for. The condition of the bathroom should have been the fist sign of the overall cleanliness. The bathroom had dust an inch thick, water damage & grunge all around the sink & fixtures. I put that aside, went & picked out my color which was nearly impossible with the owners daughter running IN FRONT of me between me & the polishes picking them all up & commenting on the color. Still I let that go & then went @ sat down in the pedicure chair, waited 10 minutes at the pedicure chair with no water running to make you comfortable & then I just continued to notice more filth in the photos I took sitting there. I'm not even asking for COVID clean but there is no sense that they clean EVER! I do have a regular salon that is very clean, I was just on this side of town & drove in. Big mistake. read more

Worst looking nails I ever had. Well for one, the color is god awful and I asked for narrow coffin nails. I asked the nail technician if he could fix the transparency of the nails... all he did was file it a little bit and put some top coat on it. Extremely disappointed. read more

This is my regular place for pedicures. Never ever ever had a bad one from any of the providers. They offer great atmosphere and happy chill ambiance. Today they offered me a new jelly option! I loved it!! So soft gooey and weird!!!!!! And my skin felt AMAZING after. This place is awesome. read more

Lynn did a great job microblading my eyebrows. I was a little hesitant since I could not find previous reviews, but I have been very happy with the results. Lynn is the 3rd technician to microblade my eyebrows with some of the best results...before the post touch up! I followed Lynn's directions to apply ointment for a couple weeks and I had NO scabbing! This was my first time here, I decided to go here after looking at the yelp reviews. My expectations were high and they went above and beyond. Didn't have an appointment but they got to me and my friend very quickly. She talked me into getting nexgen and I was hesitant but they ended up looking so good, I'm glad I listened to her. Tonya did my nails and they look so good I can't stop staring at them. The girls were fun to talk to, and understood exactly what I wanted based on a pinterest photo. So so happy with my nails and the experience, I'll definitely be back!! read more

I came here due to the great reviews on yelp and was not disappointed. Last time I received a nexgen manicure I left with cuts all around my nails. They were careful and attentive, which has made me feel comfortable getting nexgen again. Their pedicure was wonderful as well. Highly recommend. It is an older business, but quality service and treatment beats a large fancy looking salon any day. read more
