I called last minute and was able to get an appointment for the next day. I have used them before and was pleased. This time, it was pricey for what I had done and my carpet was soaking wet still an hour later with 2 fans running over the larger area. It was $169.00 with tax. That didn't include a tip and I always try to do that for a service, so I tipped separately. They cleaned the stairs (15) and an upstairs living area of mainly the open area and the walkways leading to that area. There was furniture in the room and they cleaned around it. After about an hour with the fans on and AC lowered to help dry, I got my wet/dry vac and sucked out more water/moisture and then got out the super big fan. In all, I had 4 fans running over the areas all night and they are finally drying. The carpet is older but still, it shouldn't have been soppy wet like that. Not sure if I will use them again. May need to find a different cleaning method with less water. read more

** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE AND CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS!** Had this company clean our carpets on March 10, 2023, and soon after our dog became violently ill. Carpet was cleaned and after that procedure was done, the tech sprayed a "protectant" down, I have yet to find out what this chemical is exactly. My wife called and spoke to Rachel, who assured her whatever was placed on the carpet was then extracted by the machine, HOWEVER, that's not true. I watched the tech spray something from a bottle and then proceed to rake the carpet, nothing was then "extracted" nor was the machine run over the carpet again. After the tech left, our dog became extremely nauseous, lethargic and struggling to breathe. We had to take her to an emergency veterinarian, after a series of tests, including all types of blood work, was able to determine she came in contact with some type of irritant or poison. We were there for close to 9 hours! This is a healthy 5-year-old dog who JUST had her bi-annual checkup last week. I called the next day and had Rachel call me back, told her the situation and only then, did she back-peddle on what she initially told my wife about this product being extracted back up because I told her I watched the tech spray it on and left it. She tells me this protectant is safe for pets, but when I asked for the MSDS sheet on this product, she tells me she will email it to me. Well, a whole day has gone by and guess what? NO EMAIL. These sheets should be readily available. Finally, a day and a half later, I finally get the SDS on this product and it's classified as a "Hazardous Chemical" per OSHA and causes irritation when breathed in or ingested, which this tech sprayed from a bottle, in mist form, 5-6 feet away from me and my pet in an unventilated room. Nowhere on these sheets sent does it say "safe for pets or children" as they claim. I called OSHA and the manufacturer, and both agreed this should not be applied anywhere close to people or animals and only is it really safe after it has dried. At no time did this tech tell us to stay off the carpet for X amount of time, or we would have done that. If you're a pet owner and love your pet like we do ours, then you can imagine the stress and anguish it was watching her struggle like she was, not knowing really what her outcome will be. I emailed this company to let them know what the product they use has done and the cost of our vet bill, which again, have had no response. So, if you have pets, or children for that matter, do not use this company. Only in it for the almighty dollar and could care less what damage they do. That was not the case. I never saw a black light and if you want pictures the area was not that big. Dont try and turn this around on me. I think its only fair people hear the truth. You are right. I should have said something about the price. But when you have new carpet he did not have to do the entire room. Only one little spot in front of the dresser. read more

Customer service at its best! Cosmopolitan is still family run and it's obvious they deeply cares about my experience. This company was phenomenal! It was super easy to make an appointment, they sent me a text reminder the day before, called 20 minutes before they arrived, and showed up exactly on time! Jocque was super nice and professional too! My husband was at work all day so it's nice to feel very comfortable with someone in your home when you're alone. He showed me all the areas that needed some extra work and took the time to explain what he would be doing. I can't stop smelling the floors! Jocque also cleaned up so nicely when he was done. OMG! My rugs are SPOTLESS! I took 3 of my home rugs to Cosmopolitan and the results were better than I had hoped for! My sheep skin rug is fluffier and WAY softer, and they managed to get a stain from a friend's dog down to barely noticeable. My own pup had made an obvious "spot" for himself on my living room white silk shag rug where he laid everyday by couch, and it has absolutely vanished all together. Lastly, my cowhide rug looks more sheen and all the hairs/fibers are all smoothed out after being underneath my dinning room table for 2 years. I received a great quote online that didn't change or increase when I went to pick up my rugs. Also, the response rate was the same day to all my questions. I called to get my carpets cleaned after the death of our beloved dog. She had been sick for the last year of her 17 year old life and our carpets reflected that. I called Cosmopolitan and the sweet girl I spoke with was able to get me in that day. I made my husband stay home to answer the door. A precious young man named Ghazi came to clean our carpets and give us quotes on floor tile and furniture cleaning. My husband felt safe and assured the minute they met. Ghazi answered all our questions and did a fabulous job cleaning our horrible carpets and was fast. When he was done I asked if he could go ahead and clean a sofa, ottoman and 4 chairs and he didn't hesitate even though it was the end of the day. I enjoyed my visit with him while he cleaned the sofa learning about his long history with carpet cleaning plus he is hysterical. We are SO happy we called Cosmopolitan to clean our carpets! My husband and I usually do everything around the house ourselves and we are not the type of people who hire someone for everything, but we will definitely have cosmopolitan clean our carpets at least once a year since their technique is so much better than shampooing the carpet ourselves. Not to mention that it saved us so much time and effort! Their prices are reasonable and well worth the cost. Don't call them rude as crap, I tried to say hi how are you doing they didn't say hi back and got and attitude automatically asking what do you want why are you calling got rude for no reason. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, they were little nicer next time when I called, and when they came over and did the work, it was mediocre at best. Carpets still had wet spots? Stuff were stolen? They moved things around and didn't clean up afterwards? I mean I thought this was a business, this is horrible I thought the good reviews were real but I guess they might have been made up, because every time I'd leave the room I'd always come back find them lazying around an lookin towards my bedroom or checking out the more expensive things in my house. We had a very bad pet "accident" and needed the carpet cleaned afterward. I found these guys on-line. I called them at about 9:00 in the morning and told them I needed them to get here as soon as they could (you can't imagine the smell). They where here by 11:30. He came to our house to give us an estimate, and he basically said the carpet was not worth cleaning because of so many urine stains from the dog. The person who lives here has no sense of smell. So, he was very honest, and recommended we replace the carpet in the house, and even gave us an education about what kind of carpet to buy.
