Suzie is so talented, but I am just as enthusiastic about her winning and positive personality. I was having a grey day, and Suzie brightened everything up with an expert hair cut and life-affirming talk. I only get my eyebrows waxed here so I can't speak to their hair cutting abilities. The waxing is good, they are always sure to double check exactly what you want. I love that they double check because most other places ignore my instructions that I just want the shape cleaned up and pretty much strip me of my eyebrows. The walk in service is great and they never complain about it (most of the time my schedule is too hectic to book ahead of time). The employees are highly efficient and friendly. Their prices are very reasonable. So overall they are worth the service fee! read more

I have contacted Cost cutters 3 times through their website and still have not heard back from anyone let alone a manager. I had an appointment Saturday November 9 at 4:30 pm. There was 1 technician on duty and as I watched from the parking lot, she continued to cut someone else's hair at least 15 minutes past my appointment time. My time is as valuable as anyone else's. I called to say that I was not a no show. She apologized. I requested 3 times to be contacted back by someone and it never happened. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Had I been contacted promptly, I would have gone back. NEVER AGAIN !!! This is poor customer service and the worst customer to have is a mad one that has a lot of internet access. I would expect that the first time you have a problem you won't get any satisfaction. In my opinion now, these are entry level hair cutters and entry level managers who need to learn how to manage customers in a way that the public deserves ! I will never go back as this salon is a reflection of the entire company ! read more

I went for a guys hair cut, price is right but all the girls seem to be right out of school. The girl I got was very nice but she left my head looking like a misshapen gored. No one uses scissors any more they attack you will the electric sheers. Too much off the top and then "blend" in the sides. Hence a bad haircut.... I have since moved on to Ron's in Mount Horeb. Great hair cut, great price, not nearly as much fun to look at though. On the plus side he tells it like it is and is always friendly. Hell, he is better then my shrink and unlike Cost Cutters I get the same person each time. There is something great about walking in and having some one remember you and your conversation last time. read more

I got my hair cut here a few months ago and it was unevenly cut but I didnt realize it until I got home. The stylist really rushed cutting my hair so it wasn't a complete surprise. Recently, I tried walking in for a haircut and was immediately turned away at the door by a stylist saying they didnt have any openings. Went in to work-out next door, came back out and saw two stylists sitting in chairs talking with NO CUSTOMERS! No time heh? A mens haircut takes like 15 minutes but apparently these girls prefer to chit-chat. About a week later, I called at 5pm asking if I can get in for a quick mens haircut and, again, no openings. If you walk in, there's about a 50/50 chance you will get in depending on if they 'feel like' working. read more

every time I call or stop in this place is"booked solid". I think if they are this busy, they may need to look at getting a few more stylists. read more
