I've gone here for 3 separate jobs in the last 7 years--two homes I've remodeled and one massive commercial building. We had a fairly good experience my first two times. The prices have been good. But this last time, the customer service was so terrible. I hired help to come with a truck and trailer to load up my carpet and drove 40 minutes to get here. We arrived half an hour before their closing, but they refused to give us our product because they would have to stay late. So I had to return empty handed and pay the same truck and trailer to come back the following day. They refused to make the cuts that my carpet installer needed and made us make our own cuts. When we did so, we found that they didn't sell us the amount of carpet we paid for. The workers on the floor admitted the mistake but said it was the fault of the front desk lady (who was not present the second day), and because the carpet was cut, it was our responsibility. I have more flooring to purchase, but I'm done with these guys. Not helpful at all. read more

Very dissapointed with Cost Less Carpets, we will get all carpet, tile and other materials we need elsewhere in the future. Some years ago we built a new house and bought all of our carpet, granite and tile there and we were pretty happy. Recently we had to do some remodeling and we went back - big mistake! We were looking for some tile and we to.d them we we needed porcelain, that is all we looked at. They suggested a tile to us to order and when we got it to the job site the tile guy pointed out it was not porcelain and would not work. Yes, we should have verified it was porcelain, but they are the experts and we relied on their expertise in ordering the right material. Long story short, they would not take it back and we had to eat the whole amount. We offered to pay a restock fee or ? but they wouldn't do anything. Anyone need some ceramic tile? I wasn't upset as I understand mistakes happen. I just wanted carpet stretched and mistakes fixed. DO NOT BUY their RHINO laminate flooring. It's a Cost Less Carpet specific brand. It's HORRIBLE. It's bubbling up all over the house! DON'T BUY!!!! Their response? It's normal. Disappointed in our experience with Cost Less Carpet. With the measurements we had we added extra inches to accommodate our project. When we proceeded with the installation we were short of material. A subsequent visit to correct the issue, resulted in the sales person admitting the mistake. We were then charged for the material to complete the job.
