It's on the edge of town - we hadn't intended to go here as we had driven into Berwick On Tweed in search of an independent coffee purveyor, but there was double yellow lines everywhere, parking was neither straightforward nor easy, and lots of signs about said parking discs were demanded so we just said sod it. We drove out again.
We spotted the Costa as we reached the main road. Costa is average ok but now it's well overpriced coffee. Friendly servers and toilet available. Their seating is comfortable.
We toured England over four weeks in June 2024 and many places we visited really don't want visitors with cars. Parking is hard to find and often is a few pounds an hour. Cornwall was particularly awful and many places didn't even give concessions to disabled drivers but sadly we aren't surprised.
