We did try to go to an independent coffee shop/cafe in Ludlow, but the first one we tried served coffee so strong, it was acrid and undrinkable, and the second place we tried, my wife and I must have forgotten to take off our invisibility cloaks, as we just couldn't get served. So you plump for a venue that you know will serve you a decent cup of coffee, Costa. Quite a sizeable coffee shop, with tables to suit all party sizes, including outdoor seating, just right to make the most of the warm spring weather we've been having. All the usual favourites are present and correct, cappuccinos, hot chocolates, flat whites, as well as one the nicest chocolate brownies I've eaten for some time. Yes it has it flaws, always very busy, only one toilet for a large coffee shop, and very little room to stand whilst you wait for your coffees, without getting in the way of other customers.
