For an unknown reason, rather than being placed upfront, the tiramisu was placed behind a box of pralines. I do not recall the last time I was served tiramisu in a dish. In between two layers of the mascarpone were the ladyfingers. The bitter cocoa complemented the overall sweetness. I was amused, and slightly caught off guard, with the vending machine in the men's restroom dispensing cologne. None of the other restaurants I visited in the city had one.

The raspberry soaked cakes themselves were fluffy and light, and the pistachio creme was absolutely delicious. I also ordered milk soaked porridge, which just hit the spot - it was so cozy. The service was friendly, although the food took quite a bit to show, and they take credit cards. All in all, I would definitely recommend them if you're visiting Prague.

Seating can be a bit tight, but we got a table on arrival. We ordered healthy hot drinks and sat down for a bit to warm up. The staff was friendly and came by a couple of times to check on us. Prices were standard with what we saw in busier areas. The atmosphere is very active and festive. They have a bar, which we were not able to take advantage of, but sounded and looked good. The bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. I would not hesitate to come back and try something new.

We decided to take a table outside as it was a reasonably warm morning. We had just tap water and I ordered the scrambled eggs with a hot dog bun and salad. The lovely K had the Turkish eggs and toast with lovely fresh dill on top. Both were excellent and a fair sized portion. The poached eggs and the scrambled eggs were spot on. My salad was also excellent with a dressing I'd like to replicate at home. The service was prompt, and friendly, and the food came out quick in spite of how busy they were. I can't say much about the ambiance as we were outside, but the chairs were comfortable and blankets were also available if you felt the need to bundle up. We would most certainly return!

We all started off with drinks - I'm not a wine person, but the prosecco was delicious and a great wine. While I typically would subtract a star for slow service, as we had some issues with people receiving drinks and appetizers, we were a large group with only a couple members of the waitstaff taking care of us. Overall, I found them very effective. For the entrees, we were given the duck confit. WOW! So so good. It was tender and perfectly cooked, and served with pickled cabbage that complemented it perfectly. It also came with a few potato dumplings which in general are a bit heavy so I didn't finish those. We ended the night with a dessert selection where I along with most of my cohort went with the Misa dessert, a whipped cream-sponge cake filling surrounded by hardened chocolate. It was delicious, but quite rich and I struggled to finish. So, so good though. The rich history of the restaurant is also absolutely fascinating and I'll recommend this restaurant!

The halloumi and avocado as well as the hummus were layered in the stack so every bite had something in it. The karak latte was also very good with a smooth flavour. I appreciated that they could make it with alternative milk since most places I've been to that serve this will only do it with dairy.
