No free samples but a great variety of great stuff you can buy for your stores! The checkout was pretty quick! A guy came by, scan our Costco membership and scan our stuff while the cashier was helping someone else. Once it was our turn, everything ranged up and all we had to do was pay! Would come back for the value and selection of products they have!

Huge free parking lots Lots of carts and flat orange carts Beep your Costco card to get in Rebate discount shown on the signs for anything on discount Green signs are organic And anything not ending "0.99" is on sale Super wide and clean isles to walk on Not as confusing as the regular Costco isles Selections varies and service was good and fast This is Business, so no food no pizza no drinks and no free samples to try

This location is a game changer if you run a business or need bulk items you won't find at a regular Costco. The selection is clearly geared toward restaurants, offices, and small businesses -- way more commercial-sized products, better variety of packaging, drinks, snacks, and supplies. I especially like that it's less crowded, easier to park, and much faster to get in and out compared to a typical Costco. Prices are competitive, inventory is well organized, and checkout is quick. Staff have always been helpful and efficient whenever I've been here. If you're stocking for a business, event, or just want bulk options without the chaos, this Business Center location is absolutely worth the trip.

Costco Business Center, what's not to like. It's fun to be able to shop for and look around for items geared towards small and large businesses. Convenient and a breeze to shop here.

    Spoiled heavy cream

I own a business and buy a lot of inventory. I went last Thursday and got 18 heavy cream. Majority of them was fine, but I opened a total of 4 heavy cream that went bad. I took a video and pictures of item so the next time I go back (I went back today, 3 days after) I could have them exchange/replace them. They told me no because I didn't have the physical item with me. I showed them the video of all the damaged heavy cream. They still said no. So you're saying you want me to keep holding onto bad stinky heavy cream so I can bring it back????? Service is so horrible!!!!

The lines are always shorter at this Costco at the gas pump and at the checkout line. The fruit, vegetable and meat departments are great.

Ask the Community - Costco Business Center

Does this Costco sell ice cubes (24 lb bags)?

    Yes

Can a non-business Costco member get gas here?

As long as you have a Costco membership (regardless of which kind) you can get gas. But if you don't have any type of Costco membership you can't get gas here.

How much is the gas at that location?

It was like $5.59 regular gas yesterday (6/7/22). Look on Yelp "CostCo Gas Station" in Hayward on Hathaway ...that's the location you're inquiring about. Most fellow Yelpers post pics & tips on prices 😉

Would you please know when gas station will happen at this location ? Thanks!

    It's now open

    Do they sell clothes?

No, Costco businesses don't sell clothes

Looking for air pot stainless steel beberage dispenser?

I recalll them carrying a Zojirushi air pot dispenser

    Do they sell flowers?

No flowers at the business centers.

Do they have to go containers?

Yes! They have lots of different types of to-go food containers, from paper to plastic, for items from soups, pizza, and cold/hot drinks.

Do they have a tire center or pharmacy?

    No they do not.

Does this location have toilet paper (Irkland Brand)?

They were all out yesterday (3/13/20). They had Charmin, but that ran out fast too. Not sure when they are restocking.

Can you shop here with a regular Costco membership?

    Yes

Do they have a food court?

    Nope

    Do they sell flaked coconut?

I don't think so. I usually buy it from Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. If Costco sold it, it would most likely come in a unit size that I would never be able to finish

Do they have a gas station?

    Nope

    Do they sell milk?

Yes. They sell dairy and non-dairy milk

    Can i return?

Yes, you can return just about anything and everything purchased from any Costco location (or online) at this location.

Whoa I had driven down this road many times but totally missed glances over here. Maybe I looked…read moreonce but thought it wasn't for the public. You see US Foods is one of the big wholesale food distributers that restaurants big and small use. They will deliver big loads of goods whether food or supplies right to the restaurant, usually on pay terms so no cash is handled. And for busy restaurants this is a must, as they constantly need raw goods coming in weekly if not daily. This is the first time I saw a 'US Foods' store. I think they took over something else. But it is a big store/space where almost everything is in bulk and/or wholesale form. For the home cook there is really nothing here that would fit their needs/kitchen unless you like to buy in bulk. 20 - 50 pound bags of beans, sugar or flour is usually just too much for an average Joe to carry to the car, let alone store in a home pantry. But if you like to entertain/cook for a large group like a big birthday, a bbq outing or big holiday get-togethers, then this place may serve you a purpose. I browsed one day and got a good feel for the place and here are my observations. If you go into the fresh produce area or the meat/dairy areas, you will have to go into a refrigerated room. The whole room is about 35 degrees so if you go in there in shorts and/or a t-shirt, then you will not be able to stay in there for too long. Produce not really extensive but you will be able to find some basics. Some things are in cases/big bags but not everything. Actually lots of things in smaller packaging like 2-3 pounds which is doable for a home fridge/usage. I'd say the offerings here are somewhat similar to what you could get at Costco. Meats are a mixed bag. Lots of processed meats like deli meat in whole form. Lots of cheese too but much too bulky for a home fridge. There are pork and beef but all in big/whole chunks. Nothing will be cut into steaks. Big packs too like minimum 10 pounds or more. But if you're cooking for a big group, you're gonna need a minimum of 10 pounds so this may be a draw for me. The bad is for the beef selection, even though the pricing did seem good, there is no 'choice' grade. They use 'select' grade here, which is a notch down from choice. But if you're just braising or slow cooking then this grade would be just fine. Costco only serves 'choice' grade or higher so theirs is more premium. Pork is fine here, I got some pork tenderloin in 2 packs, which is one of the smallest packages I saw, ideal for home usage. Good selection of restaurant ware. Pots, utensils and storage containers. This is a big draw for me as I love restaurant quality storage containers. They are sturdy, with tight lids and many are stackable. These are even hard to find at Costco and Smart and Final. On a weekday morning there is zero traffic here, complete opposite of Costco. Now this is more geared towards restaurants, but knowing if I can get something here or Costco, I will choose this, as the parking and ease to get in and out is an amazing asset to me. I was gonna give them 3 stars for not really being friendly for home usage but given those certain occasions where I'm cooking for 10 or more people, then this place will get a heavy consideration. And drum roll please******no membership card needed. Open to the public. **cymbal crash**

Today I purchased a box of oranges at CHEF'STORE in San Lorenzo for my natural juice business…read more Before purchasing the box, I inspected it and found several spoiled oranges, so I replaced them with good oranges from the same product. When I got to the checkout, an employee named Eloisa questioned why the box was so full and informed me that the store had cameras, suggesting that I may have added extra oranges. This made me feel unfairly suspected and embarrassed in front of other customers. The box contained 82 oranges, which is within the range stated on the receipt (72 to 86 oranges per box). At no point did I take any product without paying for it. I was disappointed by the way the situation was handled. As a customer, I expected to be treated with respect and professionalism. Additionally, when I later called the store to explain what had happened, my call was disconnected before I was able to fully express my concerns. I hope management reviews this situation and ensures that customers are treated fairly, respectfully, and based on facts rather than assumptions.
