Work order generated last week, and the day of appointment, they are a no-show. I had to call myself to find out the status. I am then informed that the appointment has been delayed, and that they are still unable to provide a set scheduled appointment. My home is now at 90 degrees. I work from home, however my laptop and phone devices are overheating and damaged. At this point I am so livid, I am at a loss for what to do next. The empathy portion of the conversation, is totally lacking from this company. Whatever you do, please pay more or choose another vendor for your A/C needs. I have been using R & B Wholesale for several years now. We order several products for our rentals, and have always had a great experience. I am always able to get a hold of someone when I call, and get the items I am needing right away. Delivery and haul off is usually done within a day or two of the order. Recently we attempted to engage in a business relationship with R&B Wholesale Distributors. A salesman came to our office and said he worked with property management companies like ours and explained the terms and conditions to which we agreed. I filled out all of the necessary paperwork and provided references. When I went to place an order I was surprised to find out, after I placed the order for a new dishwasher, that they were unable to process my order. After having confirmed the order a very rude and uncooperative credit manager closed my account even though I was paying COD and had purchase from them before with no issues. Lori Marier, the credit manager, and the person who I spoke with has quite possibly has never heard of the term customer service. She was very condescending, spoke over me and made excuses and then blamed a girl that was on maternity leave. She told me she was unable to get my file because it was in storage. She didn't offer any assistance or even pretend to want to keep my business or any of my referrals. This behavior is unacceptable when dealing with the public. I was polite and simply wanted to order an appliance instead I was treated rudely for no reason other than Lori chose not to do her job. If her superiors knew about this behavior I sure she would be put in customer relations training or be out of a job. Property Management Companies beware! read more

Went to buy a refrigerator from them and as soon as i parked and walked in the guy there ignored me and was just staring at my truck in his parking lot. and instead of asking me to move or what i was there for i had to ask if i did something wrong, and apparently he had the lines in the parking lot done and instead of blocking off the parking lot he was just being a dick about me moving without hurting his lines and to just park somewhere else. Then kicks a mat at me so i didnt track anything into his warehouse. So i just left, waisted time and gas coming from san jose after work in traffic..... read more

Uncooperative distributor, R&B Wholesale refused to help expedite replacement of a $4000 range after product was received damaged beyond repair. I purchased a 36" professional range from R&B Wholesale via ebay auction. The warehouse the range was held at was R&B's Phoenix, AZ location. I dealt exclusively with the General Manager at that location, Mike Burggraf. Problem date: 8/23/2015 Purchase Date: 4/23/2015 Model Number of Range: TTN337-7W FiveStar Dual Fuel Natural Gas Black & Stainless Stove Ebay Item #: 161652234838 PayPal Transaction ID: 9W548976P1129622W Sales Rep: Mike Burggraf When the range arrived at my house, the shipping company, R&L Carriers placed it in my garage, as I was beginning a kitchen remodel and was not yet ready to place it. I signed the delivery receipt, which stated the item was in good condition with no phusical damage present. When I actually opened the box on 8/23/15, there was damage to the range that was not visible upon delivery. I contacted Mike Burggraf at R&B Wholesale on 8/24/15 and advised him of the damage immediately. I also sent him photos of the damage at his request and he told me via email he would work on a solution. On 8/26/15 Mike emailed me advising the shipping company would not work with him and requested I fill out a parts diagram so he could order parts from FiveStar to have the range repaired. He explained that the model I purchased has had multiple price upgrades and he wouldn't be able to replace the damaged unit Between 8/26 - 9/22/15, I received several text messages to my phone and emails from Mike. He stated he was working with FiveStar and they agreed to build me a new range, as the damaged range could not be repaired. He explained that it would be built by FiveStar, shipped to R&B Wholesale and then shipped to me. I would have to package up the damaged unit and surrender it to the shipping company upon receipt of the new unit, which I was happy to do. My wife contacted FiveStar to confirm this was the case. She was told there would be no difference in price, as it was a replacement range. Mike Burggraf did not, at any time, advise we would have to pay anything over and above what we already had. There were several gaps in correspondence, when we did not hear from Mike with any update on the range, so my wife reached out again to the FiveStar representative. She requested the range be shipped directly to our house as opposed to having to go through R&B's warehouse in Phoenix. The representative explained she would have to work with Mike to see if it was possible. A couple of days later, we heard from Fivestar that the range would be shipped to us, and than Mike from R&B would be contacting us for additional details. On 9/17/15, my wife received an email from FiveStar stating the range was built and would be ready to ship the following Monday. On 9/22/15, I received a text from Mike saying he had an update and would call me. When he called, he advised there would be a difference in price for the range of $400, which we had already confirmed from the manufacturer, FiveStar, that was not the case. I advised Mike of this and stated we wouldn't pay the difference. He then told me that I shouldn't have accepted the Range in shipping and it was my fault. He explained to me that R&B is a $100,000,000 company and that he did not care about helping me with such a small transaction. I asked him for his Supervisor's number so that I may deal with him/her. He refused to give it to me and stated if I was smart, I could figure it out. He stated he was done dealing with me and hung up on me. Later on 9/22/15, I sent Mike a text stating I wanted to resolve the situation and get the range. At this point, our kitchen remodel was done and we didn't have a range. I asked him to call my wife if he wouldn't deal with me. He called my wife and told her the President of R&B Wholesale told Mike not to bother with us anymore and refer us to FiveStar to resolve differences. I will recommend R&B to my family, friends and coworkers based on the Customer Service alone. For over two weeks I tried to make a purchase online using PayPal. I really wanted to purchase this Christmas gift but couldn't get the payment thru. I spent long hold times waiting for assistance just to be referred to another person who still couldn't resolve the issue. Then Mike B. got involved. I had given up on making the purchase but Mike stayed in touch with me, never wavering in his determination to make sure I got this very special gift. Not only did he discount the product but he personally oversaw the packaging and delivery arrangements so it would be received in time for Christmas! People like Mike come few and far between but he restored my faith that there are still truly caring, compassionate people in this world!!! Thank you Mike for going above and beyond! Our real estate team used R&B Wholesale Distributors to replace our stove and dishwasher when we were getting ready to sell our home. The prices were great and the products were what we expected. HOWEVER, R&B Wholesale kept my personal credit card on file for any purchases my real estate team made. When I saw the additional charges, I called R&B Wholesale Monday morning and after we uncovered why my personal credit card was charged, they said they could not credit my account until my real estate team provided a different credit card number. I gave them until the end of the day, at which point I called them again and let them know they had FRAUDULENTLY charged my credit card. They still refused to credit my account and told me to go report fraud to my bank! I have had to cancel my credit card since they have my card on file for my real estate team (who also do property management) --who knows how much activity my real estate agents will be doing, I don't have thousands of dollars to float around until R&B Wholesale is able to resolve this in a manner which they find befitting! I'm very upset that a company thinks they have a right to charge my personal credit card just because they erroneously put my credit card # down for another client of theirs! read more
