I can't vouch for the quality but never had issues with my previous car with 375K miles to my present car. One of my favorite locations to visit because the lines are usually short, and the prices are usually low. Located in Hayward, this Costco gas station always seems to be efficient for my transportation needs and although it doesn't offer any Services, the quality of the location as far as cleanliness and Customer Service is on point. If only this was closer to my home, it would make me so much easier for me, but considering the gas prices are usually lower than they are in other Costco locations. I'm happy to go out of my way to go here because I get what I need and it's in and out. That's just as important as the prices at this point. read more

I recently had to go in and get a new card. This person named Lino was very dismissive and rude. No need to take it out on the customers if you're having a bad day. This is the best gas station I've been too. They have the most pumps I've seen. I was in and out in a breeze. I'm so glad that Costco expanded the number of gas pumps. The price was good and it was easy to get to on my way home from school. I didn't need any service. The only hiccup was that my receipt didn't print when I asked for it. If you ever questioned the value of a Costco membership, the gas alone is worth it. During the great inflation period following the Covid-19 pandemic, gas at Costco never reached $6/gallon for regular 87 gas. Some other gas stations were almost $7 at that point. So if you save $1/ gallon on gas for a $55 annual membership. After 55 gallons of gas, the membership pays for itself. This location is fairly new. The way to access the gas station is weird, but if you go all the way to the left, you will more than likely get out of there pretty quickly. The pumps do pull across your vehicle if you want to go to a pump on the opposite side of your vehicle. If you come in the morning or right before they close, you should be able to get in and out without a problem. If you come during the day, bring your patience. read more

This used to be a Costco Business Center. it no longer has business services inside. it isn't a regular Costco either-no liquor, pastry/cake department, books, produce, etc. everything here is geared for their Business clients. the gas station here is bigger than at Davis St. San Leandro, 4 lines with 4 pumps each. lines move quickly with 4 pumps in each lane. lines still can stretch onto the street when too many cars come at once. the gas isn't the cheapest in town. with Top Tier additive, Costco gas is the cheapest gas for a premium label. read more

Costco's gas stations are almost always the cheapest option around and even when the lines look bad they move quickly thanks to the multi deep pumps and the ability to fuel from any side because of the long hoses. This place almost never has a line. There's only one time there was a line and every other time, basically I was 1-2 cars wait but mostly just drive right in. The price is cheaper than all the other gas stations even though you need a Costco card but I've been a member for over a decade now. Usually isn't so bad, but when you have only one attendant and he's talking with a customer putting in gas, that's where there's a problem. One donkey, excuse me, customer, went in front of me and another dude tried following suite. Their fuel always beats the prices on any local gasoline, especially in the Hayward location, a few cents cheaper. Service is not that applicable though, when there's a commotion always an employee is willing to de-escalate the situation to minimize any posibility of disturbance while going in lane on the fuel pump. read more

During these times of high gas prices, it's great that Costco has their gas stations that sell gas for 25 cents or more less than the brand name competitors. Well, this Costco Business Center has built a gas station on the northeast corner of the premises. There are 24 pumps with eight pumps in each of the three islands. The center lane between the islands are wider here than at other Costco gas stations I've been too. Costco's gas is not a lower grade of fuel as it is rated a Top Tier fuel. Though you need to be a Costco member to buy the gas, but if you're not a member, have a Costco member purchase Costco gift cards for you and use them to buy your gas. As of today, regular fuel was $.14/gal and premium was $.26/gal less than the Hayward Costco at Hesperian Blvd. This Costco has the newest station and best gas prices in the area. read more

Tons of space to pull up and pump and they have more pumps than the average station. Also Cheaper than other places. The best Costco gas station in the area in my opinion. Every time I've gone, any time of the day, the lines always feel shorter than how the lines are at other Costco gas stations. Everything moves quickly and there's so much space in the aisles. I'm the type of person who will drive out of my way to go get gas at a Costco just because the prices tend to be significantly cheaper. Prob one of the best perks of being a Costco member is getting to use Costco gas stations. The one pain point of this particular station is the way the gas station queue is set up. It has me thinking "who designed this?!" On days when the lines are long, the lines can leak into the main "street" in the parking lot, where the cars come from the traffic light. It causes such a mess. It's because there's a large median in the middle separating the gas station lines from the parking lot. I don't know why they didn't just eliminate that and take more room from the lot. I've only experienced this once though so hasn't been a big deal for me! read more

A dream come true for San Lorenzo/North Hayward area residents - not only having a Costco location, but a Gas Station location to serve motorists & those not wanting to make a trek to further Costco locations along the Nimitz! I've always frequented the Business Center due to its close proximity to my work office, in addition to always having a seamless & easy 'Costco run' , compared to their regular warehouses located on Davis & off Industrial. I feel like you're saving a lot of time whenever I hit up this Costco for that quick essential Costco run to stock up on household goods & some food! I remember this location being 'busy, but NOT busy' - if you know what I mean, as the Business Center model does not include a food court, tire center, optical, etc. - to name a few. However, what stands out is having demolished an 8,850-square-foot vacant tire center, AND taking its place - a new 9,350-square-foot canopy above 24 pumps, with landscaping - to make getting your gas in an aesthetically-pleasing environment for all to see! Lol. An important fact though, is their hours are not the same as the gas stations located at the regular warehouses - in fact, they close EARLY!! Just make sure to note that on weekdays, they close at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 7 p.m., and Sundays at 6 p.m. - and the warehouse is closed overall on Sundays. I know my all-time East Bay favorite Costco warehouse is located along the I-680 corridor between Hwy 24 & Hwy 580, but the North Hayward business center is where my favorite Costco gas station is located! I have not seen it super busy, nor having to wait - as there are always open spots along the different lanes, and the gas prices seem to be slightly cheaper than the ones in San Leandro & South Hayward! I'm not sure why - and the fact that this location seems to be popular among the locals in the immediate vicinity, which means it's not that well-known just yet to all that this business center warehouse HAS a gas station - and I'm glad it's sort of kept a secret! I know way too many people that would want to get a hot dog and/or pizza and/or chicken bake, get their tires checked or purchase new ones, AND get gas... unfortunately, you can't do those errands here! Don't let those reasons have you avoid from checking this place out. If you only need a few essentials such as bread, laundry detergent, and water cases - PLUS the need to get gas, then by all means, make the trek here & I assure you - it's worth the drive! read more

You eventually know the best times to come and get gas so don't waste your time coming when it's busy. I love how there are signs letting you know which pump is free ahead and that the hoses are long enough to pump regardless as to which side your gas tank door is on. A great addition to A st! This gas station has shorter lines than the one on Hesperian. Almost every time I've gone, the pumps are typically empty on the left. Very easy to get in and out. Conveniently open everyday except holidays and opens at 9am on Sundays instead of 6am. A team member is always available to the right for any assistance needed. I was so happy to see the new gas strong now open. A total of 24 pumps giving it 4 pumps on each lane which I think is better than the conventional 3 pumps at other locations. I asked if the pump was working and he said yes, that he was just cleaning something off of it.... He then asked me if I wanted him to to pump my gas for me!! Opened recently and the gas lines are quick. Prices are a bit lower than the regular Costco at Davis St. to boost. This gas station also opens on Sunday when the Costco business center is closed so less traffic and people gassing up because of that. No better day than to pump on Sunday before the Monday rush everywhere. 4 pumps each lane. Note their hours do choose earlier than regular Costco locations. Check their website or app for hours.
