This is a Costco that actually has a gas station. They have three lanes or actually three pumps, which makes it move a lot faster. The confusing part is once you pull into Costco. It is actually on the diagnose side of it which you have to almost go around the block to get to it so it can be a bit confusing to get there. But once you do it move very fast even on a Saturday or a weekend day when it is very busy. read more

The person who closed the other entrance is a GENIUS!! Has improved the flow significantly. If only drivers were smart enough to NOT block the entrance, NOT cause a bottleneck, and just drive further down.... I typically get my gas before and after Costco warehouse hours = 5 stars. I came by here late at night and I wanted to get gas. Originally I was going to go to my homebase Costco, which is located in Richmond, however, I went somewhere else and happened to be driving by so I came here. It was great! I got my gas, I left. The only issue is the signage for the gas station. There's no direct way to get to the gas station and if you follow the signs you will get lost. I know because I've been here 2-3 times in the past few years that I need to get to the gas station in a different way and so I'm used to that route. But that was not enough for them to lose a star. I also know that sometimes they are really really busy so I was lucky enough to come at a time and late enough that I was not stuck in traffic trying to get to the pumps to get my gas. All in all, it was good. I'd say easy Peezy and if in the area, I would definitely come back and get my gas. read more

We love getting gas at Costco but avoid pump #11 as it overflows and does not stop pumping. It is in the 2nd bank of pumps counting from the left. There are 3 problems with this pump: 1) It pumps very slowly - everyone else will be done before you are. It took at least 5 minutes just to get 3 gallons. 2) The pump will not stop pumping gas. You will end up paying for spilled gas that you couldn't stop. Hubby had to hurry up and stop it manually. 3) Won't print receipt either. We waved the worker to come over and he just stood there. We drove over to him and told him about the problems with the pump. His response - "Just don't use that pump next time" Are you kidding me? They should at least forewarn people. Put a sign on it or put caution tape or something. So I'm forewarning everyone - AVOID PUMP #11!!!! You'll be paying for spilled gas and standing there forever to pump gas. When we got gas - it was $4,39 on Sunday - amazing how the gas prices fluctuates up and down. read more

Very difficult to find. There are signs that say gas this way, but then the signs end and you are outside the costco parking lot. We lucked out and found the gas station. They need more signs. You can't see the gas station when you enter the parking lot. They have a sensor that tells you which tanks are open. This is helpful as you can't see 3 cars deep. Now I know where the gas station is, I'll be back. $4.15 a gallon. Good price for the day. read more

Despite that fact, it still gets crazy busy during warehouse hours. I try to fill up the gas tank here before or after regular warehouse hours. Lot less crazy at the gas station if you do that. Like the fact that they also have more pumps at this gas station than most of the other Costcos. 4 stars. Price 5 stars, usually cheaper than anything else in the area. Minus one star (being critical here) b/c it is always so busy and b/c there are always fools here who clog the entry point and sometimes don't drive around to fill spots in the middle or the end. They finally blocked off the entry point on the store side and I think that has helped things a bit, b/c that used to be a mess. Me taking off a star is not going to effect the business that is drawn to this costco gas, so I don't feel bad about it at all. lol. Plus no one will read this review, people just post a review for this b/c it was suggested b/c of a check in (something us yelp nerds do). This location has got to be the busiest & cheapest on this side of the East Bay in the San Francisco Bay Area! Where the gas station stands now used to be a huge parking lot, and I can't believe being a native San Leandran - I've seen this place sprung up from usually empty parking spaces, to a sprawling hustlin' & bustlin' gas station with 32-pumps located in a remote part of the warehouse compound! Don't worry, ya'll won't get lost - since you can pretty much follow the trickle of slow traffic getting into the warehouse! On the other hand, this is truly an incentive of having a membership, as offering cheap gas is a way to attract & retain members! What an advantage, especially during these trying times we're currently experiencing in the midst of a pandemic. It always causes a gridlock getting in & out, due to the relatively cheap & low gas prices that everyone knows how Costco does best! Their gas attendants are always helpful & can assist you if you need assistance - in addition, would go out of their way to even put cones around your car when you need to jump-start it! I know how it can be hectic during peak periods, and being a local resident - the best times are really when it first OPENS in the morning - whether it be a weekday OR a weekend, and when it CLOSES at night - whether it be a weekday OR a weekend. What I like about this location is that it has 4 islands with at least 3 pumps on each side to use. Late last year or earlier this year, I noticed they installed indicator lights to notify customers when a pump was open or taken. This was super helpful for people waiting in line, especially those who can't see if a pump is vacant or not. The pumps work pretty fast, but it's disappointing they don't have squeegees to use while you wait. In order to purchase the gas, you need to be Costco member. You can pay with your Costco Visa credit card, a Costco shop card, or most PIN debit cards. Depending on the location you're at, gas prices may vary from each Costco. Keep in mind this location is next to an Amazon delivery hub so the car traffic can be a bit heavy at times. The hours for the gas station makes it fairly convenient for people who start their days early or end their work day later. Best fuel prices in town! Costco fuel is certified top tier. I haven't noticed my vehicles running any differently on Costco gas. I feel much safer at these pumps than at a service station in a questionable neighborhood. I do however dislike waiting to fuel my vehicles. If I can get here in the AM, the pumps open at 630a ( I believe) This is always the first place I go to if I have enough gas to get here! The pumps are pretty fast and gas is the cheapest around. This page should also have the word "Gas" in its name as half of the reviews aren't even for the gas station itself. Anyways, I don't get the hate for this Costco Gas. If you are a regular to any Costco gas stations, you are used to the wait and/or know the way around it. Go at off hours if you can and the lives are shorter/faster. The only difference with this has station is that it is next to one of the main Amazon hub in the East Bay. So, avoid this place during the holidays (when people are ordering tons of stuff from Amazon) if possible because you get a huge wait from the regular Costco customers weaving in and out of the parking lot and then you get the back side traffic because the Amazon delivery drivers are all trying to pick up their packages for delivery. It can be a huge clusterf*ck and can take over 30 minutes to get out. Regardless, I still love Costco gas because it is by far the cheapest gas without being the lowest quality (*cougharcocough*). They also recently implemented this traffic signs of sort in front of each lane to let you know if the further up gas pumps are free so that you don't need to keep stretching your head out to see if you can pull forward. read more

I have been to a couple of Costco Gasolines in California but this is by far my favorite. An attendant is a "excuse me" away. It has a constant flow of traffic but I am usually in and out so quickly! There is plenty of space iffff there was a long line but the wait time here is minimal. I am a fan of getting Costco gas but before coming to this one it truly felt like a mission getting gas.
