This Costco gas station located with the Manteca Costco warehouse just off the 120 freeway is super easy to get to. I stopped in top gas up this big rental suburban we use for our field location work with my crew. Manteca mean "lard" in Spanish ... guess I thought I'd throw that in there ... like a city of lard! Anyhow, Costco Gas usually has the cheapest gas around, though there's not much cheap gas around, especially when the vehicle you're driving gets like 12-14 mpg! I like the hoses here at Costco, cause they're long and can stretch to either side of the vehicle, just watch the traffic trying to squeeze through to get out or to the unoccupied pumps, if you're on the far side filling up. I'm glad this isn't Oregon, where they have attendants that fill you vehicle. The card readers read super reliable and fast, not like some of those no name cheap places where you think your card might get skimmed on the pump or something. All gassed up and ready to go! It's my new thing to do! Costco has replaced Kohl's as my pit stop on road trip. This Costco gas is in Manteca off the highway 120 between the 5 and 99. They had several cars in front of me the couple of times I've been there. No more than a 10 minute way. They have 3 pumps per island with 4 islands or 8 lanes. After you get gas here, you can go inside Costco and stretch your legs and get a $1.50 hot dog for lunch. read more

This particular location has about six rows across in each row has three or four pumps per row so it definitely allows for less congestion in the parking lot and at the pumps. The Gas Station Attendants are courteous and prompt should you need assistance pumping gas into your vehicle. Moreover, this Costco Gas Station has beyond reasonable gas prices; thus, adding more stars to my Yelp Review. Aside, I always see the Gas Station Attendant wiping the gas pump handles which duly noted, I have yet observing another Costco Gas Station cleaning the gas pump handles. I like noticing the little nuances these Attendants perform: Always wiping the gas pump handles, wiping down the gas pump itself, wiping down the gas selector buttons, wiping every moving part of the gas pump leaving the gas pumps squeaky clean.
