I've always passed by the fueling stations when we visit Costco but never stopped until today. Out of all the local stations which seemed old and run down, I'm apprehensive about visiting some of these places out of concern for what is coming out of the old underground tanks. This was a newer build, plus a trusted brand so we stopped to fuel up while in town visiting. Today we learned why the lines are long. Prices are a bit lower plus the bonus points on the card. However being a first time user, there was a slight learning curve to use the pumps. Using the membership card is required, but this pump wouldn't take the actual card, I had to use the QR code on the app. And there is a precise process to get this to work and be successful. QR code, then payment method in timely fashion. For the uninitiated this can be a challenge knowing there is a long line of cars waiting at the ready, making a nervous experience if not prepared. I got it working after several attempts, a few curse words, and crazy looks. The pumps stack 2 vehicles at a time, luckily even with our delays, we finished at the same exact time as the larger vehicle in front of us. There was an attendant in a yellow vest at the ready to assist when needed. The place is very clean, line moves fast enough. read more

No Costco Gas stations by me so this was a treat. It's pretty efficient if you follow the set up. Of course there are some idiots that stretch the hose to capacity and fill on the opposite side. This of course makes it impossible for people to squeeze thru to get to an open pump. Despite that during non really busy times it goes quick. read more

Loving the Costco Gas no matter what city or state I'm in! Always reliable and affordable! This location of Costco Gas is lower tech than the ones I see in California since they do not have the sensors to show when a lane is available or occupied and each row only had 2 pumps. However it seemed enough for the locals to get gas without too long of a line. During our visit gas was only $2.97/gallon regular, which is literally less than HALF PRICE of gas in California and about 20-30 cents cheaper than other gas stations in the area. What a great deal. Great place to get gas period! I love going to Costco to get gas and literally hate it if I have to go to any other gas station. When my gas is getting low, I alway make sure I have enough to make it to Costco. Costco's pumps and the ground around the pumps are always clean, where as when I go to other gas stations I am wondering what I might be stepping in, ugh! There are attendants that constantly walk about to make sure everything is ok, and to assist if help is needed. Remember a membership card is needed to purchase the gas. read more

Even after 10 years I still prefer to buy my gas at Costco. The price cannot be beaten by anyone in town, and they do have security there plus the Costco attendants are always available when needed. Considering how much gas prices have gone up over the last years it's a great deal to be able to use the membership to purchase quality gasoline at a reduced price even for the premium grade. Don't let the lines turn you away, they move quickly and you will not be there too long even when the gas lot seems full of cars. read more

Costco gas is cheap. You have to have a Costco card to get it. And there is staff is right there to help... there's one pump that hates my car and I avoid it now. Security is generally nearby. And most people understand the queue. But OMG the people who don't get it.... they are so annoying. Why cant' people figure out the system. Queue up... better to be in line for the pumps on the same side as your gas tank. If you're not? Then stop freaking out that you have to stretch the hose to the other side of the car. Costco has some of the most competitive gasoline prices in the city, and they are are offering Top Tier gasoline. For those of you not in the know, according to Wikipedia, "Top Tier fuels must maintain levels of detergent additives that result in a higher standard of engine cleanliness and performance as compared to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirement. In order to be certified as Top Tier, a gasoline must pass a series of performance tests that demonstrate specified levels of deposit control on intake valves, deposit control on fuel injectors, deposit control on combustion chambers and prevention of intake-valve sticking. Therefore, you are getting a great product at a great price. Even with 16 pumps, the lines can sometimes get long, especially on the weekends. Therefore, I prefer to stop on my way home from work during the week. However, the lines move fairly quickly and I don't think I've ever waited over 15 minutes on those rare occasions when I do fill up on a weekend. There is always an attendant on duty who can be seen "walking the beat", making sure that people are turning their engines off and keeping an eye out for anyone trying to attach a skimmer to the credit card readers. Several months ago, Costco invested over 75 K in outfitting their pumps with the latest secure card readers in their effort to prevent credit card fraud. Safety is also paramount at the pumps as the attendant wears a highly reflective vest and there are fire extinguishers and spill kits on-site. The pumps are also extremely well lit and the wrought iron fence keeps any transients and/or beggars away from the customers. Lastly, kudos to Costco for making the hoses on the pumps long enough to reach either side of most vehicles. Therefore, you can pull up to any pump and still be able to pump your gas. This goes a long way in keeping the lines steadily moving. The gasoline itself is reason enough to be a Costco member. read more

COVID-19 review: I'm pretty sure that costco gas is one of the cheapest around! In fact, it's one of the reasons why I have a Costco card! Haha During this pandemic the Costco employees always wear their masks and I see them disinfecting in between customers, wiping down the pumps which makes me feel better. FYI, it gets packed on the weekend so I suggest pumping your gas during the week. Remember, you need a Costco card and Visa card to buy gas. Not sure why some people don't get that? Best gasoline in town at the best prices. You've got to be a Costco member, but why wouldn't you be? They sell only two grades of unleaded, regular (87 octane) & premium (93 octane), which is all we really need. Super clean. Lines can get long at times, but move fairly quickly. Getting back onto Carrollton can be a challenge. read more

I get gas mostly at Costco. Best prices. Even if I'm traveling to other cities, i'm always trying to look for costco. You do have to be a member to get gas here. Lines can be long on weekends, but they do move quickly. I normally shop on weekdays, as I can take a little detour on my way to work. I have a small car, so I can go to any side of the pump, but I've seen people with trucks, so I think anybody can go to the shortest line. read more

I have yet to find a better price for Top Tier Gasoline! I refuse to fill up anywhere else as I actually do notice my engine running calmer from the regular fuel. The attendant on duty is always available and visible making rounds to every single pump checking the card readers for integrity. Costco is obviously preaches a "Safety First" culture just from a quick visual of this station. There are several fire extinguishers and spill kits readily available. This also a great reminder to the customer on how serious a task it is to pull your own fuel. Don't forget, if you find yourself parked opposite of your fuel tank do not worry because the hose will extend with no problem to the other side of your vehicle. So, pull up to the first available pump and hit the road! read more

No wonder Costco is very popular everywhere. Their store is very clean, reasonably priced, stocked with great items and courteous staff, who are fast. Costco is socially very responsible and at the cutting edge. During COVID-19 pandemic, they were the very first ones wipe off their shopping carts, pass wipes at the entry and had hand sanitizers. Additionally, the are the only ones to do institute special shopping hours of 8 to 9 am on MWT, and advocate and organize spacing/distancing people on the waiting line to enter into the store and restricted one shopper for 1000 sq ft of store. Further, allowed stressed healthcare workers to the front of the line. WOW Costco! We needs to give the management the highest medals of honor in the land. read more

This is my go to place for several reasons. First, the price is almost always lower than anywhere else in town and I love saving moolah! Second, it is about location. It isn't near my house but I am in that area at least once a week. Third, and most important to me, is that I feel safe here....it is well lit, constantly busy and there are attendants near by at all times. Costco Gas! Best prices in town, hands down. And everybody knows it. There's almost always a bit of a wait since everyone tends to realize they need gas at the same time. What's great is the pumps do stretch to the other side if you find the shorter lane is on the other side of your gas tank, you just have to hold it. They've updated their equipment recently so everything is shiny and new. My only two gripes are that it would be nice if there was a wee bit more room between pumps so that if you finish pumping you don't have to wait for the person in front of you or you could easily pass someone if the person pumping in front of them is finished sooner. If everyone pulled up to the pumps like a champ and closed their doors then there's enough room, alas we aren't all gas pump pros. The other gripe is that some folks are inept at pumping gas so it 'causes the backup. I watched an older man struggle for 15 minutes with either his Costco card or credit card, who knows, but it would be nice if the same customer service that I love so much inside Costco was out here helping folks get their gas on!
